Long time customer of both inside and drive through. Rarely an issue, and always polite and accommodating if there is. Also the only place you can get burger or chicken at 6 am vs 11 am other places. They open earlier and stay open later than all other burger places. They are a great staff, especially the core few who have been there for many years. Every chair has thick black grime. Fries everywhere, hasn't had a real cleaning in years. It's the most disgusting junk food establishment I've experienced. I've been to Mexico and Anchorage fyi. I've literally seen stray dogs pee on customers in Mexico , still a cleaner establishment. Seeing this place pass inspections makes me think of corruption. Food was barely warm, threw it away when the kids ran around. Took my daughter to bathroom and noticed the door was hard to open, I'm 200lbs no way a kid is getting the door closed. Bathroom was messed up at every item, had to shoulder the door to get in and rip on it to get out. Stained ketchup everywhere, dust bunnies everywhere. Drink fountain trash was overflowing. The Carls Jr cheese burger was cold, didn't taste charbroil. The cheese wasn't melted. The sauce was good. The bread was tasteless. The onion rings were very dry, tasted like cornmeal. The service was good and friendly. The ambience was nice and quiet. The reason I gave "maybe" to revisit, was because it could have been the cook, or just employees having a bad day. read more

You place your order at the drive-through, they ask you to pull around to the front where there's four or five maybe six cars parked waiting for their order to come out. My salad was fresh, but they skimped out on the grilled chicken, so I returned it and they added a little bit more chicken. Since Covid, customer service everywhere had suffered. No one takes getting your order "right" seriously. What's the deal with getting rid of menu items that take a little more effort like fried zucchini. What's your alternative, nothing similar. Sure it takes longer and you have to make it fresh, but whatever happened to fresh Carl's Jr.? I also hate Diet Coke, but that's all everyone seems to think we humans like. read more

I ordered on the drive thru. Three cars ahead of me. One car just left after I was in line for ten minutes. What could possibly take so long to prepare? Is it poor management? So, I don't come here too often. Today reminded me why. Very rude woman working the drive through, who also didn't take the order right. Rudely shoved my bags into my hand squishing the burgers and fries. The cross cut fries ordered were not what was given, asked for 1 of the burgers to have NO onions because the person who was going to eat the burger is allergic to them. When both burgers were opened, they both had onions. If the person would have eaten it, they would have ended up having to go to the hospital. This is the WORST Carl's Jr, ever, the one in eagle river I would say is better than most fast food in general. Last night it took 28 minutes to get my food after I ordered, the burger was missing ingredients, I didn't get napkins, and the soda all tasted like water I was so upset. If it is a brisket burger with onion straws it should have brisket and onion straws. Not just a burger patty with bbq sauce and some weird sloppy Joe looking stuff on it. Today was my first and LAST time to ever eat anything from this establishment. Honestly, it was comparable to McDonald's, and y'all know how crappy their food is. A simple breakfast order was placed and they couldn't get it right even after it was repeated back. Two sausage biscuits were ordered, but I ended up with two sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits. Also, the biscuits tasted undercooked. Orange juice and chocolate milk was also ordered. The oj was almost pure water and the chocolate milk was hand made by an employee (very little chocolate). Since when do you not receive a chocolate milk that's already made in a plastic container? Even McDonald's offers them that way! There were just a bunch of kids running the place, which is obviously the problem. I won't be back, it was disgusting!!! read more

Day time is a best result for a visit at this Carl's Jr. Establishment. Night time and afternoons not so much. In the day time the food is always fresh, and the facility is clean. The managers do a great job in the day time, and their burgers are awesome. Five Stars if you can fix the issues with the long waits and night crews that don't seem to have it together. read more

Eh, I'm not real "woohoo" about Carls Jr. Place needs attention about their allergies, very greasy and dirty, Overall, they do wash their hands and they made my order right on my burger because, I liked it on a lettuce wrap with NO BUN on it. I used to come here every Sunday for biscuits. In 4 of the last 5 weekends this has happened 1) No biscuits 2) we waited almost an hour parked outside waiting on food- several times they ran food out to other people and we mentioned we had been waiting over a half hour at that point and we were told it's almost ready. We had to go into the store to finally get our food that it turns out they had accidentally given to someone else- they were extremely rude about the whole thing. 3) They told us at 10:30AM at the drive thru they "decided" to stop serving breakfast early 4) Again no biscuits and they had decided not to make more over 30 minutes before their posted hours for breakfast end. My husband and I had lunch here today during rush time and although it was very busy, the employees were working extremely hard to serve everyone. They had an employee that was wiping down tables and seats which is greatly appreciated because there's nothing worse than dirty tables when you want to enjoy a quick meal. I'm done with this place. I love Carls Jr., but this is one of the worst. For the second time in a few months I've visited this location, I had to wait 30 minutes for ice cream. I reminded the cashier after 15 minutes, "Oops I forgot". 15 minutes later they finally brought me a runny milkshake that looked like it had sat out on the counter the entire time. They just mumbled some insincere apology. I was willing to overlook how filthy the place is, but they have a total disregard for their customers. Year's ago when this place opened the food was always right on target. There service is descent and so i gave two stars. However with that being said has anyone ever got fries from this place that were not either cold or wood? or both? There sandwiches have gone down hill dramatically do any managers say that is not good enough remake it? When I open a sandwich and there was so much dressing it soaked the bottom bun after pulling from drive up to the parking lot so maybe 4 minutes at the most. Or smashed or just other poorly prepared. We go there so the kids can play in the play area.... Been there three times now. The play area is always dirty but the toy is awesome. My son loves it. We are consistently given the wrong food. What upsets me the most is that whatever the wrong item is, they throw away rather than letting me have it. I would give to homeless or save for leftover. False advertising! They are advertising the pastrami thick burger but no longer sell it. The drive through had huge rocked ice where it was nearly impossible to pull up to the window without your truck sliding sideways into it. They told me to drive and wait for a fresh batch of fries out front. I waited for at least 20mins. No napkins, no ketchup or straws! Horrible service today. I was the only car in the Drive thru for 10 minutes waiting on my food. Another vehicle showed up and after another 10 minutes waiting the truck behind me left. The person working who looked very sloppy and like they just woke up asked me to go to the front and they will bring out my food. After waiting another 10 minutes bringing it to a total of 30 minutes I decided to go in and get a refund. There wasn't one person in Carl's eating. I asked the manager for a refund.
