First visit after Covid Lockdown and remodel of this Subway in Wasilla, AK. Used to be occasional customer for many years. Like many Restaurants today prices have increased. You be the judge of the value. The Interior is brighter a more attractive. Nicely decorated and better organized. The parking lot is in front of a busy highway (Parks). The restaurant has the same five wood steps up with a wrought iron railing on each side. Parking is free and sufficient unless you are driving more than one large tour bus. I didn't see a handicapped entrance but will correct it if they have one. Nothing in this review is intended to be negative to this particular business location or Subway in general. I and my family have been frequent customers for longer than I can remember but I believe almost 50 years. I am 79 and as long as I can remember there has been a subway in my life. For many years they were the major if not only on the East Coast. Today we have many excellent choices to choose from and some are regional only. Now to the "Meat" pun intended of this review. Since covid more than the prices have changed at Subway. The menu has changed and has more choices. It was harder to read for this senior 78 with glasses. But it is better organized with bold numbers, catchy names, and better pictures. The individual contents and prices of the sandwiches were what was hard for me to read. I ordered the "Beast", leg 12", with Parmesan-Jalapeno Bread, toasted with all the vegetables, except Guacamole. I made it a meal with a large fountain drink, and "Miss Vickie's" Jalapeno Chip" I added Oregano, Salt, Black Pepper, and the MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette sauce. The sandwich featured Pepperoni, Salami, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, and my choice of PeperJack Cheese. Seeing my taste preferences? The ingredients were ample with good portions of double meat. The vegetables were fresh, clean, and favorable. The meat tasted excellent with the flavors of the Pepperoni, Salami, and Roast Beef standing out over the Ham, and Turkey. Not a bad thing as I still taste the others. The bread was fresh, toasted lightly with the cheese melted nicely, and the meat warm. The Chips were fresh, and crispy, with a strong flavor of Jalapeno. I choose the Aquia Berry XXX Vitamin Water which was strongly flavored, delicious, and healthy with low calories. The was overall excellent, much better than I remember. The bread was more flavorful and crusty. They have more flavors now. I normally order double meat and it appeared to be equal to before except for the more than double price, $7.50 vs $3.00 on a 12" Sub. The overall price of all the subs has increased but is not excessive. The young lady who waited on me was patient, friendly, efficient, and attentive to my desire for ingredients and excellent at her duties of making an outstanding Sub. This renewed design of Subway I believe will give their competitors a run in competition. It is good for groups, families, seniors, and the military. It has seating for over 30, is clean with bathrooms for customers. If you haven't tried Subway since the end of the Covid lockdown I urge you to give it a try. read more

The staff at the Yenlo Subway are rude & cannot make a sandwich correctly. I'm so frustrated with them right now. Plus, they said they'd honor a promo code when I talked with them over the phone, yet when we got there, they would not. Then, I recv'd a Happy Birthday email from Subway, saying I'd receive a free birthday cookie, yet they would not offer that up either. Awful ~ no customer service at all! read more

Yikes, so let's start by saying this review is based on our last two experiences. Both App orders, for five sandwiches, and extras. Order one- placed 68 minutes before requested pickup time. Arrived and went inside, waited my turn no big deal. Now 10 minutes past pickup time, I could see what I assumed was our order on the counter. I was told our order wasn't ready, and to hang out and they would get it finished up. Fast forward 21 more minutes of waiting. I walked back up, and the same girl asked what I needed. oh here we go, I gave her my name again and sure as shit she grabs the bag off the counter. Ok, so I sift through and see a sandwich is missing. I mentioned this and she takes the bag back. Now I have 3 employees flopping out $85 order around. She assures me they know what one is missing and will make it. I go sit back down, and another employee brings out a sandwich. I grab it and ask why is this? Oh, it's your flat bread. Now I'm pissed, the missing sandwich in question was not a flat bread. So long story short, I am now waiting for another sandwich to be made. Trip 2. Oh boy, oh boy. Again app order, 1 hour and 28 minutes before pickup. My wife picked up the order, it wasn't ready and she ended up waiting another 20 minutes. Now, she should have counted but she had to pick a child up so. Fast forward, they get home and my boys BLT is missing. She calls to have it remade so I can pick it up on my way home from work. The lady hangs up on her, This proceeded to escalate things way higher than I care for. But again that's her karma, anyway long story short, they basically told her they don't make enough to give a shit, and she could request a refund from the app. Forward- I get home after my shift and open my $18 turkey pro with bacon, to find it had no Mayo, no oil, no vinegar, and no bacon. And at that point the app didn't let me request a refund. So- if you own this store and are reading this, maybe your cheap ass can either pay your employees better, or read up on quality control. I honestly cannot believe the reviews are so good for this location. read more

Even though there may be shortages of coins, low supply rate to food items etc. I really appreciate having this business open still! I like using the app to pre-order and going right up to sign the receipts and go! Side note: My six year old nephew loved the options stickers with the kids meal, though wish the sub was a bit longer. Maybe he's just ready for his first six inch sub :) read more

I stopped at this location today and was disappointed to say the least. The server spoke so low I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. I asked for The Great Garlic sandwich and when she put the chicken on it was sparse. I had to ask for it to look more like the picture. She did not ask me if I wanted it toasted and forgot the bacon until I reminded her. The condition of the restaurant was dirty, the drink line was a mess, the floor needed sweeped and at least three employees were laughing in the back. What use to be the best place to get a sandwich has become a "bottom line only, business. I have received more and more poor quality sandwiches, usually on the run...so by the time you get a chance to take it back you are already 10 miles down the road or back at work....Get this new policy...You must bring back the sandwich with the recite and the they will make a new sandwich...WHAT??? So I am on the road grab a footlong to go and down the road I go....I get 10 miles down the road to Fairbanks the sandwich is all jacked up I call and they tell me bring sandwich back and they make a new one with recite. So I tell them I am on highway to Fairbanks won't be back for several days....they told me bring back the sandwich and recite when I come back...so I am suppose to keep this sandwich in my carry on bag for 4-6 days and then bring it back. REALY!!!!! Only at SUBWAY!!!! I suggest you find another place to get a sandwich...any and all other restaurants have always made it good!!!! Without the sandwich!!!!!!! read more
