IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP IN BLOOD, FECES AND SEMEN-STAINED SHEETS AND INTERACT WITH A CRIMINAL MANAGER…read more- STAY HERE! Every once in a while a service you pay for is so utterly pathetic and the manager so criminal, it's worth taking a moment to acknowledge to the universe that justice indeed doesn't exist, at least in some instances. So, imagine this: You pay for a six-night stay for your contractor at the Devonshire Inn near the local Air Force Base. The review tracker on Google shows a majority of positive reviews of the motel, so it must be all right. Right? So, you pay for two additional two nights for yourself. A total of eight nights - prepaid. When your contractor checks in the first night he immediately discovers feces stains on the sheets. And what appears to be semen on the bed covering. And maybe some blood. There is also significant mold on the window frames. It's late at night in a town he doesn't know. It's the first time he's been to California in fact. So, in an attempt to avoid rubbing into other, unknown people's body fluids, he lays towels on the floor and spends a couple hours fitfully trying to sleep. He takes videos of the thoroughly bodily-fluid stained sheets etc. He gets no satisfaction from the staff in the morning in attempting to switch rooms. Nor will they give him a refund. So he leaves for his own safety. As his manager, I call the booking company SUPER to tell them the situation and seek a refund. After over an hour on the phone, I am hung up on. When they call back I'm told to submit dates, booking ID's etc. which I do. I also send them videos and stills of the feces and blood stains. I learn the manager has told SUPER that both myself and my contractor stayed all eight nights and that he refuses to refund any of our non-stayed nights. I call the hotel manager and ask him for a refund directly. After yelling at me on the phone, he refuses to refund our 7 nights we didn't stay at the motel - even though there is no record of my checking in nor my contractor staying beyond a single night. So, when you read reviews...anything positive is the criminal manager tapping away under his multiple pseudonyms hoping to create an online façade of positive experiences to convince you - the potential guest - that a rat-infested, likely brothel is actually a nice and safe place to stay. Don't fall for it. Unless, of course, you want a night curling up with rats, wrapped in blood-stained sheets, as the sounds of the likely-brothel resonate around you. Sure, pick the Devonshire Inn. Just be ready to take a long shower afterwards, preferably somewhere safe.

It's called "States" it's huge weekends for softball players. The best of the best come out from different cities to compete. Our city alone brought about 80 people here. Players, siblings, grandparents, parents. 22-24 different families. Only 2 families had their personal issues here, and those odds are not bad! The kids LOVED it here! I'm sorry you are not gonna get peace and quiet until about 1030-11pm. Kids were playing hide and seek, ding dong ditch. It's annoying for the moment, but when are kids gonna make those memories. They play their heart out all day and deserve it. So chill out! The food was great! Unlimited waffles are huge with the kids. As far as breakfast, just be nice and go to the front desk, and they'll accommodate you another ticket. They have burritos to go for all the early birds, toast, oatmeal, and cereal. 3-4 self-serve juices. They give complimentary drinks 1 per person. A small bar area! Yes, the pool is crowded, but if they were to try to crowd control!! Imagine how many people would be pissed! The only ones that ruin it are the drinking adults that can't control themselves. They have 2 bbqs, propane filled and ready to use. Restrooms and tvs in dining area. If you're worried about noise stay away from 1st floor and balcony rooms.

Time flew by faster than expected and I was late paying for my room. I called to ask the manager to sit the stuff in the laundry room he yelled at me and told me her had my stuff outside, before hanging the phone up in my face. Mind you this is a bad area and there's all kinds of thieves and homeless people migrating around. I just don't think he treated me like a Loyalty Customer. Never have I ever been late paying for my room before. He literally act like he didn't know me. I've stayed here with no complaint throughout the summer with no AC AND throughout the winter WITH NO HEATING SYSTEM. Lodging conditions are definitely not all that hospitable especially to treat the guest the way they do apparently. I don't stay here every day but there have been times I've stayed over a week and was never late on payment. AND I WAS THE INLY TENNANT FOR THE WHIKE DURATION IF THE ALMOST TWO WEEK STAY. Other times I felt I would be late I called ahead like today but always showed up on time still. I work so I chose to stay here after coming back from a job that's in the area. Mind you the job consist of at home work. This manager put my stuff outside and I have over $3500 of work materials including Apple Mac books just sitting o. The curb because of how unpleasant the manager wanted to act towards me. I drive a 2023 luxury vehicle, DO I LOOK LIKE THE TYPE NOT TO PAY? I don't even understand what I could've done to deserve that. Other places I called and told them I wouldnt make it in time to pay and they were kind enough to put my things in their laundry quarters. I understand services have been slow and this property likes to do weekly and monthly housing deals with some of the only people who get Social Security checks. That doesn't mean treat your hotel guest in such a manor. If it's not a government check he's receiving from you... he's not interested in any conversation and excuses. He even threatened to call the police on me because I called back a second time. I'm just calling to make sure my things are straight. I mean the old man hung up on me in the middle of speaking. Ofcourse I called back. I thought the call had dropped but nope it turned out he didn't care about what I was saying or how I felt. Karma is a real thing and to be honest they're close to closing down soon anyways. I mean they live out of the front office and his wife is disrespectful any time she comes to the window. I've always bypassed any time of confusion and always walked on egg shells just asking for room service after staying a few days, and they'll get an attitude so I end up cleaning my own room and borrowing their supplies. Their is so much that I could be saying or could have said and didn't out of the kindness of my heart before hand and didn't. We'll now I have a reason to speak up. If I'm going to be treated in such a manor and I'm one of your guys most frequent visitor/guest why ?? Just why??? I don't understand but here we are. Happening actively pictures coming

Let's get into it. Property itself, as I said is very nice inside, updated and clean. No fee for parking each night and it comes with a free breakfast, which is always a great thing. The rooms are also nice, updated, not huge, but plenty of space, they have a fridge and coffee maker. Very comfortable, but also probably the main reason for the 3 stars. The bed was comfortable, but as I was sleeping, I started to itch a bit and then after my stay I was very itchy for a few days. Not sure what the deal was, but not a good thing. I washed all my bedsheets at home and showered a number of times to ensure whatever was in the bed was not with me any longer. As I said, I think after 2-3 days the itching was over and back to normal. Too bad, as I enjoyed my stay otherwise. The staff here was very friendly and the also had a small indoor pool and a small gym. These two things were great, but also contributed to my one less star, the pool looked nice, but looked to be due for a cleaning. The gym was great, everything I need, but only one bench and no multifunction weight machine, which is a downer. As I said, love Hilton, staff was great, free breakfast, free parking, nice rooms, great looking property, pool and gym. But the itching spell I had after prevented me from rating this one higher, that combined with the gym also brought it down just a bit as well. Gym part is pretty minor though. I am sorry I cannot give them a higher rating this go around, enjoy!

The Fairfield by Mariott Inn & Suites Tehachapi was one of the better options. In their price range, they had the better reviews by compare. Honestly there wasn't a lot of reviews or photos for businesses in this area, so I just made the best decision based on the information I was able to find. Check-in was at 3pm, but we would have to head out around 3:30pm so it would leave us no time to get ready. When I called the hotel, they said to check back at 12noon on the day of the visit because that's when they are able to see the check outs and availability to see if an early check-in was available. On the day of the wedding, I called and they said they can accommodate a 1pm early check-in at no additional cost. Yay! This gave us ample time to settle in and get ready. The room we got was narrow with a lot going on like a long hallway. We came in and there was the bathroom. Hairdryer is provided but it's in the closer. Then there was a semi kitchen area with a microwave and a fridge. This is great because not many hotels have microwaves these days. Then there was a sofa area with a tv. And then finally the bedroom area with another tv. The WORST THING about this hotel is the bed. The metal bed frame stuck out and my boyfriend and I hurt ourselves multiple times bumping into it. Also the bed wasn't too comfortable because my sleep quality was poor and I woke up with back pains. Good thing it was just one day. And the pillows were like small tiny half pillows. My boyfriend joked about shrinkflation. Additionally the walls are thin. You can hear the nearby doors close. So it wasn't the best for resting. Another complaint is that their shower leaks a lot of water from the faucet which wastes water and also gives less water to the showerhead. Total waste. The gym area had minimal equipment. 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, 1 stairclimber, and 1 weight bench with a weight rack. What really bothered me was that there was no cleaning equipment. I also doubt staff cleans up much because the water was out when we looked on Saturday afternoon and still out Sunday morning. It was still nice to get a work out in. My boyfriend wanted to run in high elevation so he went on the treadmill and I went on the elliptical. They also have an indoor pool that we didn't check out because it was closed on Saturday, during the day time. It's an indoor pool because Tehachapi gets all 4 seasons, including the snowy winter. Breakfast is included. Not the best but edible. Enough to get us started in the morning and make our way in the direction of home. We both ate the scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was thin and bland. I actually wished I grabbed less which is rare for me with bacon. My boyfriend had a muffin and he was able to toast it. I had a waffle that was okay but probably been sitting there for a while. We both had orange juice which was definitely watered down from concentrate. Not good enough to get a second cup. My boyfriend also tried their coffee but he said it was bad so I didn't get any. I didn't see any staff at the desk when we checked out and I didn't get any email to self check out so I just left my room keys in a basket of all the other room keys I saw behind the desk. A decent option FOR THE AREA... but I'm not really trying to be in the area if I wasn't obligated to.

We were able to get a AAA discount, which was actually still slightly more than Expedia advertised but my error in just taking it impulsively. The room itself initially wasn't bad with a small couch/separate living room area with fridge/microwave. We liked that we had a king bed, but the pillows were micro size. The absolute worst part was the airconditioner literally blows right into the face of the person next to it. We tried blocking it with the curtain but that was difficult and it was so loud that sleep was awful! So do not expect to get a good night's sleep based on the direction of airflow (which could not be adjusted) and the noise. (Unless you can sleep through anything). The breakfast was fine for a hotel "free" breakfast. I liked that non dairy was offered and various toppings for the oatmeal. It was a good variety of food. Water would have been good, but not avail in that same area. The coffee was watered down. There was someone there cleaning and refilling everything often. We didnt use the pool or jacuzzi. The gym seemed nice and it was "cool" inside during this hot summer weather. The hotel itself was clean and nicely decorated.

And this was my fourth visit. I use this hotel because they have a jacuzzi room. Yes you read that right a room with a large jacuzzi that sits two over sized people easily! Bring your Epsom salts maybe a bath bomb if it isn't a sudsy type as they'll bubble up too much with any type of bubble bath. Sit as long as your can handle without shriveling up and I can guarantee you'll feel like a whole new person the next day! The shower isn't anything to boast about. As anyone who reads my reviews knows I hate standard fixed shower heads in hotels it makes them feel old and like the Bates Motel to me. So they lost a star for that but the water can be tempered to those of us that love super hot showers. There is a hairdryer connected to wall. I didn't notice if it's locked down or if you can use it say at the desk to sit comfortably while drying, but it's there nevertheless. This room includes a king sized bed that's comfortable. Not the most comfortable ever, but it does allow you to get in a good slumber. They have a few movie channels on the tube and you can plug in your own hdmi device. The hotel offer breakfast from 6-9AM daily. I wish hotels would adopt a 6-11AM attitude. Some people are actually on vacation and would like to get dressed then come down and eat as they leave for their adventure's of the day. It can interrupt the flow having to go down grab food as you have to get dressed to leave your room. But that's just my lil opinion. But I'd say if your in Cal City and looking for an overnight.
