This is one of the nicest inns I've stayed in. It was clean and quiet and looked brand new! The bed was so comfortable and soft! Had everything we needed... mini fridge, smart tv, air purifier, AC/heat and a coffee maker. A small microwave would have been an added bonus. It's right next to Pine street which is what we wanted and feet away from everything. (Restaurants and shops) The owner was so nice on the phone and made booking the place extremely easy. My husband and I stayed here. The place is awesome. Checking in and out is very convenient just send a message and they will provide your room number and access code to your room. The room is pretty spacious and clean. The bed is super comfy. Bathroom super clean. Room has smart tv with Netflix free, coffee maker and ref. We could not have been more thrilled. The rooms were decorated very cute. The beds were soft with amazingly soft blankets. Everything felt so clean, comfortable and homey. I felt like we were staying in someone's guest room in their home. The refrigerator was big and very nice to have. Bathrooms were spacious. This place should not be overlooked. Highly recommend and we'll be sure to be back! Also a super fun park, skate park across the street. And a very short walk to everything you could want or need in town. My wife and I really liked this place. The room was clean and nice. The king bed was comfortable with tons of pillows. There was a smart TV with several streaming options. This place is wonderful. We booked very last minute and someone turned on the heater prior to our visit so it was nice and toasty when we arrived after dinner. Everything was done over the phone, no contact which was very convenient. We stayed in room one which had a pull out futon for my son and it was very comfortable. The room itself felt like I was staying in a family members house. It was cozy and so cutely decorated and very very clean. Tv had Netflix so we were all able to pick a movie to watch at the end of the day. The topping on the cake for us was the mini light up tree next to the faux fireplace. It made it feel extra special. My family stayed in one of the cabins here. The cabin is clean and plenty of room for 5 people.The couch and chair were comfortable. Nice simple decor and a balcony that my grandmother could sit on. The issues I had include inadequate heating and broken control knob in the bedroom, broken window in same room, uncomfortable beds, a rug with bent ends that we all kept tripping on, the firewood tongs are hard to stir the fire with, one of the stove burners is broken, cant close the kitchen blinds, and the extra linens are not sealed in anything that keeps the dust and dirt out. I tolerated all of this, although a certain standard comes with the price you pay. Out of all the smaller issues the biggest problem was that I had washed dishes and then tried to give my 7 year old a bath at close to bed time, after being wet and cold in the snow, but I couldn't because the water tank needed 45 minutes to get hot again. I just wanted her to get a nice hot bath to warm up. My husband boiled water on the stove, but that just took too long. The rest of us will just shower when we get home. I was disappointed that the owner did not empathize with the situation but instead asked me "what do you want me to do about it?" Nothing I guess, because she didn't care. We made reservations on the phone but all other communication was via text. As far as I know there is no 'office' onsite which was fine. We stayed one night in a room With 2 queen beds. Room had really cute decor and was very comfortable. We had a mini fridge, Lots of handy hooks to hang our coats And the cutest little Christmas tree. The tv was nice. It took me a few minutes to figure it out as there is no cable but they do provide their Netflix info. There is a diner (evergreen?) around the corner that was great for breakfast. There were also two little playgrounds across the street. We were about a ten minute drive to mountain high. Would definitely stay here again! read more

Shirley the inn manager is the best! She made sure my wife and I had the best room for the first night of our honeymoon! She made sure to text me to check in with us on the way up to see when we were checking in before I even had to call to let her know we would be running late. Once up there we were met with an adorable room! It is so cozy and sweet. It was perfect for a good night of sleep after a crazy wedding season. The bed is so comfortable! It's also extremely close to everything in town. You can walk everywhere! Check out was super easy. You just send a text that you're on your way out. Which was super nice. The cabin was incredible. We are a family of 4 and it was the perfect size. Located close to town and Mountain High. It had all the charm you would want in a cabin in the mountains and the Christmas decorations was a great a touch. Sheralee the manager for the property was incredible, she checked in with us the day of our arrival and helped make the check in process super easy. We left my daughters favorite stuffed animal behind, when we called Sheralee was so helpful in getting it back to us. We couldn't be more thankful. I had read in a review from the week before we stayed about issues with the heat - this must have been fixed because we had no issues keeping the place warm or getting the shower hot. Overall this place was perfect for our family and we are already planning our next trip!!! read more

Holy bed bugs. This was an interesting stay. The towels were clean and the sheets were clean. The bed bugs were real. I was drifting off to sleep and I felt something crawling on my hand. It was a tiny bed bug. Then I inspected to bed sheets, blankets, and pillows. A rather large bed bug appeared and that's when I decided to sleep in my car. 36 degree weather and I made the choice to use my gas to keep my body warm. Initial thoughts: this is the cutest, cottage-feel, inn. After thoughts while packing my car right now at 3am: I hate bugs, I feel itchy, and I want to go home, but I can't because I'm here for a wedding that isn't until 4pm. I'm going to be the exhausted party guest who's skin is crawling from bed bugs. I know maintaining beds can be difficult when multiple people are using them, but so is having to sleep in a car. Please, make this right and fix the problem as well. Btw I left the largest bed bug on the dresser where the tv is. read more

My husband and I stayed at the cottage in the woods for our anniversary weekend. The cottage was so cozy and quaint we especially enjoyed the downstairs fireplace and Netflix via the smart TV. The king size bed upstairs, queen bed downstairs and futon couch offers much space if we'd ever want to return with more family for a weekend getaway. Another great catch is the location, only being about 10 minutes away from Mountain High. We were able to ski and snowboard all day with only a short drive home to the cottage. In addition, we were able to schedule our reservation just a couple weeks in advance despite the busy winter season. Plenty of clean linens, clean atmosphere, warm inside and extra blankets if needed. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay! read more

Pros: VERY WELL located, can walk to town. beautiful clean upgraded rooms. SUPER COMFY beds. Mini Frig. 5 min drive to Mt high. Fast wi fi. hard wood floors.let us check in at 8am for a VERY resonable price. Cons: located in front of a school and park and there's a daycare behind it. So a lil noisey if u come during the weekday. Direct TV sucks, u might as well not have tv, no good channel. Not even basic sattelite channels. The heater has to be the worst heater ever. It took 3hrs just to warm up. I slept with sweats, hoodie and 2 pairs of socks and my uggs just to stay warm. Leave it on the entire time just to keep "ok" temp. And the worest was the shower. The shower was clean and upgraded I'm talking about the shower head or what it really was, was I piece of pipe sticking out with some kind of bolt at the end. Horrible water pressure, I've had better water pressure in Mexico. And by the time the water hits ur body its cold. Worest shower EVER!! And I know this is a girl thing but the towels were really rough, nothing some fabric softner couldn't fix. read more

I"ve been skiing at Mt.High for several years and for the last 3seasons have been overnighting in wrightwood as it's easier with a kid that wants to ski back to back days. I finally found THE place to stay! This is it my friends .. with only 4 rooms .. you have to book in advance. The owner Elizabeth is very sweet and so friendly. The room my 8yr old son and I had (#3) was perfect! Bed was SOOOOO comfortable and the room was already nice and warm when we got there at 7pm. It's right in town and we were able to walk (less than 2minutes) to The Yodeler for dinner and the following morning to The Village Grind for breakfast before hitting the slopes. We've already booked another room for Presidents wknd! *OH YEA .... and they have discount lift tickets for Mt High .. just ask them. read more

We love this place. But, this year we were a little bummed out. We had some loud noise issues with families running back and fourth. Sherlee was so nice and gave then a call it stopped for awhile but began again. When we walked out the other guest was like staring at us cause of the complaint. Then around 10 pm the couple on the other side of us woke us up our whole room was shaking for about ten minutes. Not fun times...... The walls are a little too thin. But, it was super clean and cute as always. We just wish we could've got a good night sleep we were ready to go right in the morning. read more

Super cute lil place. Felt so comfortable here. I loved how our room was so Christmasy decorated. Extremely comfortable bed, adorable red curtains to match the blankets and pillows, shower head felt like a soft massage, supplied us with ample shampoo, shower gel, conditioner.......we had 3 mini x-mas trees in our room!!! Located right in the heart of town. This place is so charming! The management is really nice and helpful and allowed us to come a couple hours earlier than our check-in. I love how they text you and they are very good at responding quickly. They gave us the code to our door which was nice and convenient. The room itself was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and big enough for two people easily. The TV had Netflix and you can also sign in on the other apps if you so please. The bathroom was standard and it came with dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner but we chose to bring our own. The room itself was within walking distance of anything you wanted to see in the town. You're right across the street from a school yard which was nice because we were able to play in the snow. We will definitely be coming back later this season or next year. read more

We've hesitated to stay in Wrightwood in the past because all of the other motels are older and probably musty from the environment and allowing smoking. No problem at all here. No smoking, no pets allowed. The property is obviously well-maintained inside and out, which is probably a challenge with the elements and the skiers. Spotlessly clean inside. Only negatives were the lack of many TV channels - only the most basic DirecTV plan. This was somewhat offset by having a DVD player and some movies in the TV stand. Also noisy, mostly due to inconsiderate loudmouths trooping by, since our room was the first in line. I recommend the king room. read more

Very clean and we will definitely stay there again. Neighbors were noisey and at 3am they were clicking their car alarm and when they came to motel at 10pm talking loud but they settled until they left in morning. I would recommend this place for a nice getaway. read more
