I needed a rush job for a small amount of shirts. The owner assured me that the deadline wouldn't be an issue. One of his employees made a mistake on our job a day before they were supposed to be shipped which means the shirts wouldn't arrive in time if he reprinted them. He offered to issue a refund which I agreed to and the said he did so, but we didn't receive it until we entered a claim with our credit card company. Great experience with Carl's! I've never ordered t-shirts before but they made the process as simple as possible - and I spent a lot less than other places I priced out. The shop delivered the t-shirts even when the gentleman I was working with got in a BMX biking accident and ended up in the hospital. He went out of his way to make sure the order (which was super time sensitive) was still delivered on time. I was under some pressure to deliver to my teammates a professional-looking jersey in time for the next game, and for a reasonable price, and Eric patiently and attentively worked with me throughout the process to ensure he delivered on all fronts - going over every detail with me via phone, email, and in his shop. I needed to create family pajamas for Thanksgiving for all sizes- onsies, toddlers, kids, teenagers and adults. I have ordered personalized clothing off of mass production sites before with no issues, but I had to have a design. I'm not creative and didn't have the time to put into whipping something together. Insert Carl's Printshop - a boutique local shop fitting my exact need- customized clothes, design, and printing, at a reasonable cost. I can't say enough great things about my experience. Like I said, I'm not creative so didnt give them the best direction "something about thanksgiving and family?" but they were so kind, helpful, creative, and non-pretentious about my needs. THIEF! I am warning everyone out there NOT TO USE CARL'S PRINTSHOP. Eric, the owner took my money, gave me some story about an ink spill, did not produce the sweatpants I ordered, and is refusing to give me my money back despite his repeated promises to return it. The order was for 10 pairs of sweatpants for my daughter for her last year at sleep away camp. This is a tradition that is extremely important to her, and something she looked forward to all year. Her camp friends were of course relying on her. Eric had plenty of time to produce the sweatpants (weeks) and he repeatedly assured me there would be no problem getting them done. 2 days before my daughter was scheduled to leave for camp, and after repeatedly checking in with Eric to get some assurance that the sweatpants would be done - to no avail, Eric emailed me and said he had some kind of ink spill at his shop and the sweatpants wouldn't be done by Sunday when my daughter was leaving. He already had my $350 which I paid him by Venmo per his request. I begged him to please at least give me the sweatpants so I could get the printing done elsewhere but he just ignored the request. I got incredibly lucky and managed to find 10 pairs of sweatpants at Uni Qlo and I found a printer to get the sweats printed for me in one day. Shout out to Custom Village Printshop because they saved us! Of course, the last minute nature of the project caused me to have to spend $500 to get it done - IN ADDITION to the $350 I paid Eric. Meanwhile, after my daughter got off to camp with her sweatpants, I began asking Eric - very nicely - for my money back. Nothing. When I got more assertive, he told me that he decided he wasn't paying me back because I had the nerve to call his business and his integrity into question. I will be taking him to court given that I have a clear written record of what has transpired. I hope I am saving someone else from having this happen. If anyone has any questions, or wants to discuss, as I said, I have a complete record of all of this. Eric, you should be ashamed of yourself. In response to Eric's comment to me -- On June 23rd he told me that he would not be providing the sweatpants as promised. After patiently waiting, and then more forcefully asking for my money back, the last comment Eric made to me on July 7th was "we will not be moving forward with your refund." It is now July 24th and despite my sending Eric another email asking him to reconsider, I have nothing from him. For him to suggest that I am not being completely honest here is comical. Eric doesn't want to look bad on this forum but perhaps he should have considered that before he decided to keep my $350 when he provided NOTHING for it. read more

Eric (the owner) created original designs for the 'BRIDE' and 'TEAM BRIDE' shirts, and the bride LOVED them.
