    Such a fun experience! Desiree gave a quick intro and had us out on our way in no time. It was such a great way to explore the coast and cruise around town. We made it to Oceanside Harbor, down by the pier and back to Tamarack in Carlsbad before stopping for dinner downtown Carlsbad. Great for locals and tourists alike!

    Wow wow wow!! If you're looking for a fun afternoon look no further! On top of a great time The owners are the BEST thank you for a fantastic day

    Carlsbad Moke Rental is AMAZING and such an incredible way to get around this adorable town. The mokes are so trendy looking and spotless. You get to tour around in style!!!! SO simple to book and the owners, Des and Jeff are the coolest and most accommodating people I've ever dealt with. If you're visiting Carlsbad or even live in town but just want to have some fun, Carlsbad Moke Rental is a MUST!!!!!

    Super easy to rent, the owner's were very helpful in guiding us to the places to stop and take photos. I have been to Carlsbad and Oceanside in the past but my Moke experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend if you haven't rented one before you should, it's a fun adventure with your friends. I will be back for sure.

    I highly recommend Carlsbad Moke Rentals to anyone who wants to have a fun and enjoyable time with the wind in their hair and the sun warming their skin. Cruise around town, bar hop, savor a meal, or admire the views of the coastline, surfers and beach-goers in a Carlsbad Moke! The owners are fantastic and accommodating. I called for a last minute rental, with my fingers-crossed, and they had just received one of their Mokes back from a previous renter, so they prepped it, charged it, and away I went with my best friend on her birthday celebration. The owners even decorated the Moke with happy birthday signs, which was a thoughtful and wonderful surprise. Carlsbad and So. Oceanside are beautiful cities, so go ahead, experience them in a Carlsbad Moke Rental because like these cities, they are the best!

Van/Christine, We are disappointed that this matter has reached this point, and we strongly disagree with your characterization of the transaction. Despite your characterization of the events on Yelp, Cart Mart did not engage in a "bait and switch." We did not attempt to mislead you, nor did we attempt to provide you with a vehicle of unknown origin. Your order was processed through Cart Mart's normal sales process using our standard documentation, deposit terms, and vehicle preparation procedures. Initially, we anticipated ordering a vehicle specifically for you. However, when an identical unit became available in our inventory, we allocated that unit in an effort to expedite your delivery and began preparing it in good faith in reliance on your purchase commitment. Our intent was simply to get you into your vehicle sooner, something most customers appreciate, particularly during our busiest season. Importantly, this was not presented to you without your knowledge or consent. As reflected in Christine's text message dated June 16, you acknowledged that we had already agreed to proceed with the in-stock vehicle, stating there had been "zero communication from Cart Mart since the last time we spoke and agreed to the other person's cancelled order." That contemporaneous message confirms there was a mutual understanding regarding the substituted inventory and directly contradicts the later claim that Cart Mart attempted to switch vehicles without disclosure. We also explained that it is standard practice throughout the industry for authorized dealers to receive vehicles from the manufacturer and complete final assembly, inspection, accessory installation, and configuration at the dealership. Exchanging standard components such as seats, wheels, or tires during the preparation process does not make a vehicle improper, used, recycled, or a "Frankenstein" vehicle. As we stated previously, the sales documents clearly identify the down payment as non-refundable. Based on that agreement, together with the work already performed in preparing your vehicle, Cart Mart does not agree that a refund is contractually required. That said, Cart Mart had been reviewing whether a discretionary accommodation could be offered in an effort to resolve this matter amicably. Unfortunately, your recent public statements include serious and inaccurate accusations regarding Cart Mart, our employees, and our business practices. Those statements make it considerably more difficult to resolve this matter informally without protecting Cart Mart's interests. If your goal is to resolve this constructively, we remain willing to discuss a written resolution that addresses the deposit issue and provides finality for both parties. We are also continuing to seek support from the manufacturer and remain hopeful they will assist in bringing this matter to a mutually acceptable resolution. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to pick up our Moke as well. We booked the Encinitas/Leucadia option so all we had to do was go to the valet at Alila Marea, who gave us the keys. Super simple and we had a blast -- they were also very kind about letting us bring our dog as long as he was well secured (which was sensible to us). Highly recommend!!

    I made a reservation for my mom's birthday, we were staying at the Alila, and this was a…read morerecommended activity through the hotel. My mom decided she didn't want to do it the day before, so I called and tried to cancel. They said a 7-day cancellation requirement. The woman on the phone said she could submit a cancellation request but it would take a week together get back to me. We ended up using it since there was no guarantee of refund. The car is really slow, traffic was backing up behind us on a 35mph zone. We had to pull over twice to let the line of cars pass. Pretty terrible customer service, they seem like a money-first culture. Also, on-boarding was very time intensive and annoying. Drivers license front, back, insurance information all needed to be upload, and the site had issues. After posting the review above on Google, Moke replied and called me petty. The website had issues uploading my drivers license, I had to try multiple times. Seems like it's a "nuisance" for the owners to pay a proper website developer. They charged $311 for a two-hour rental, with mileage so limited we could barely make it to downtown Encinitas, we had to park and walk around to avoid going over the limit. The advertised speed is higher than the actual speed. As you can see from their response, they don't like taking accountability and will find an excuse to nickel and dime you. They want to charge you cancellation insurance and avoid paying for liability insurance, where most businesses know that's a cost. They're likely untruthful about blocking the booking for other customers - we called before our car was delivered, then it was sitting in front of the hotel for 2-3 hours before our designated time slot. Given their lackluster and accountability-avoiding response, I'll share with Alila to see if this "luxury experience" can be removed from their website to not tarnish the Alila brand. I don't know how a luxury hospitality brand like Alila allows them close to their resort property. As for the software, I tried on 2 separate devices on 2 separate WiFi's and LTE. Again, instead of being curious, they immediately blamed the customer. I think their response stands for themself. If you want spoiled, entitled customer service, please consider Moke & Sun.
