I ordered an Italian sub to split and they made it fresh at the deli counter right there. I don't always go for cold cuts but when I can see that the fridge is clean and well kept and that the meats and cheeses are being sliced fresh I know that the deli cares about quality of food. The sandwich hit the spot and was a great deal. The front window has a few stools to sit on so that you can enjoy your sandwich there and watch whatever sports are on TV. They make great sandwiches and breakfast food, and they have excellent fresh squeezed OJ and top notch deli coffee. I eat there regularly and they keep things neat and clean. They also feature a great selection of beer and liquor. Unlike all those fancypants alcohol purveryors in Bergen County, they sell BOTH liquor AND beer. I'm sick of having to go to multiple locations for my hooch. I also treat Banner as a convenience store, getting some basics like milk and cigarettes when I need them.
