A few teenagers skateboarded by while we walked around, obviously enjoying the place. It was a cold drizzly January day, so not too many people here partaking of the air, but several walking around and enjoying the exercise. There is a pool, playground swings and equipment, a community room, and a little park-like area with a big parking lot. The headboard owners showed up and their young son hop, skipped and jumped over to the park to enjoy it, with his Dad in tow. They said that there is going to be a huge pool built soon and the facilities will be updated. Fun place to pause on our way back to SLO.

To this day, swimming brings back memories of my wonderful years growing up with a great pool, lifeguards, snack bar, and friends lying in the sun, just enjoying life. And, on weekends, my brother and I liked to play tennis. Titus reminds me of the "good old days" and how much it enriched my life! It is such a community pool that, when our dog wandered across the street and fell into the pool, they called us and asked us to come get Spot. LOL. GREAT MEMORIES!

It's really hard to get in classes there because they fill up quick but when we do, the cost is affordable, location is great, and the swim center staff is fantastic. My son's swimming has improved greatly and he was just promoted to Marlin. Yay! While the swim instructors are fun and good with the kids, they seem to come and go. There are two faces that have been consistent and awesome, though, Mark and Kemar. They are always around to answer questions and be kind to the kiddos. We really appreciate that! I'd definitely recommend Pattullo Swim Center. If you want in, prepare to register early! See ya there!

I was here only for one night. Parking is free! The lobby does not have coffee, only in the early…read moremorning like 5 AM. They have hot water and tea though. The receptionist was nice during check in. They give free s'mores kits. There are campfires around the property. I had a relaxing night! Room: I had a room with two queens. It was very spacious! There was a separate shower and bathtub in the bathroom. There were black out curtains on the windows. I didn't realize there was a window on the ceiling until the sun shown down in the morning. Then I also noticed there were blinds to block out the sun on that too! The bed was so comfy. The blanket was so warm and seemed like down feather. They gave us two complimentary glass bottles of Martinelli's apple cider. Amenities: -Fitness center. I was here at night, so it was very dark. I only saw one small room with cardio equipment. No weights. -Spa. There was no water dispenser and no hair dryer. In the women's locker room, there were lockers, one shower, new bathrobes, one pair of slippers (that we saw), and fresh towels. The steam room was small but could fit at 4-5 people. -Pool. The pool is heated. I wish they had a jacuzzi! -Golf. I think they had a 9-hole course on the property, but I did not partake in this. -Golf shop/Golf club. This is a 10 minute walk from the lodge. You can rent and purchase equipment here. -Tennis/pickleball. Equipment is free to borrow. No shade for the pickleball court. One tennis court is covered in shade by itself. Not sure about lighting. No wind guards. -Restaurants. See website for hours. When I checked out around 11-12PM, the restaurant was closed.

They charge $25 per person, unlimited balls. A little pricey compared to the other driving ranges around but worth the try since we were in the area. There's a limit to how far you can hit your ball (180 yards) because it's not a big enough space and there are houses nearby. The pro shop looked well stocked with golf clothes, footwear, accessories. I'm sure there were golf clubs (I didn't really look, but I'm pretty sure I saw some bags). Lastly, they have strict dress code- both at the course and at the range- no denim, no t-shirt's, no sweats. Didn't know this prior to coming here.

This club has always been great. The owners are total volleyball families that I have seen at…read moremultiple volleyball events from their daughters teams to MPC, to CSUMB games.They have encouraged our daughter and been so supportive from the beginning. They strive to allow for an affordable option on the Peninsula which allows for girls to remain competitive in a sport they love---which is really admirable. Their older daughter (Amaya) played with our daughter in high school and is now coaching for them-she was always so upbeat, encouraging and kind. We are lucky to have them on the Peninsula!
