I have been here a few times. They have a nice selection of cigars in a big humidor. There four televisions with plenty of seating, tables, and two high top tables. The prices are reasonable. The crowd that hangs out here are nice guys and there one guy (Thomas) who's super knowledgeable about cigars. I took his suggestion on a Fuente and he was spot on. I was able to bring in my coffee and enjoy it with my smoke. No one really bothers you. Parking on the block is good depending on what time you arrive. The place is clean and they often clean the and trays. They don't pressure you to buy a ton of smokes. Overall the experience was great. read more

Was a alright place, guy who worked there was pretty knowledgeable and told me about the cigars, my only complaint about this joint is that somehow, a 2 cigars that were around $20 for one and another for $25 and a lighter to go with it came out to $65? On top of that they dont even accept debit cards only cash, they should have the machine for how many people step into the joint read more

Honestly, I was disrespected. I was told, by an employee, that I was hurting the business.... I purchased a cigar, from this establishment some time ago, for my wife. It was for an event we were going to, but she didn't get to enjoy it at that time. My wife, our friend, and I went to Carmine's for a hangout, and I brought that cigar back for my wife to finally enjoy in their lounge. I, of course, purchased a cigar for myself, and our friend purchased for himself, as well. The employee grabbed me by my arm to talk to me in "private" and told me that there was 3 of us and only 2 cigars was purchased. I explained to him that the third cigar was purchased previously and just brought back. The employee said I can't do that because that hurts the business. What exactly did I do that hurt the business? This employee talked to me as if I was a squatter, and I was beneath the other customers. I wasn't a regular, but I was becoming one. Unfortunately, because of this occurrence, I don't know if I can go back to the establishment that made me feel less than. read more

The newly renovated Carmine's is THE cigar store on Staten Island to visit. The humidor is well stocked with a varied selection of premium cigar brands and the staff is always ready to offer a suggestion aa well as pleasant conversation. The seating area is an inviting and comfortable arrangement of oversized leather chairs and couches. Several TV sets are always showing a sporting event or a news feed. There is street parking as well as parking in an upstairs outdoor parking lot. read more

This is one of the better places on Staten Island to relax with a nice smoke and a sweet 21 year old. Scotch of course. Bottled water available at no charge. Respectable selection of good cigars in a professional grade, managed humidor. Well maintained air filtration for smoking, and overstuffed leather chairs and sofas, plus professional staff who keep the the lounge clean. Downside is that they close at 10:00 p.m. on the weekend, unless there's a big game on and the lounge is full of patrons. read more

Guy at the counter never heard of Palio cutters And the 20 somethings were hanging out smoking cigarettes so that is not very pleasant but still a decent lounge. Selection is good not awesome but good, has the staples but didn't see any higher end cigars. read more

Guys here are down to earth friendly, ask if you need assistance but aren't pushy. I'm from NJ and work in a lounge myself and this place has good selection. Sticks that many don't carry. Very good prices. And one of my favorite lounges I've sat in. Thoroughly enjoyed my 31/2 hours sitting, talking, and smoking. read more
