My wife had pearls restrung there twice, they would not stand behind their "repair". I took it the last time, with a receipt and the man behind the counter was adamant that they didn't do the work, even when presented with the receipt. My wife finally took the pearls to a proper jeweler that knew what they were doing and the jeweler pointed out the shotty "workmanship" of Carnegie Jelwers. I came here to get my ring appraised and the two woman working there were not friendly or approachable. When I came to pick my ring up the woman dumped the envelope upside down and my engagement ring FELL OUT AND BOUNCED onto the glass countertop. My fiance got me a beautiful pear necklace here for Christmas 2011. During Christmas 2012, it broke. We still had the receipt and took it back to the store for repair. They're charging us $50 to repair it, despite the fact that THEY sold it to us. Also, the guy (owner?) said "yeah, we don't sell these anymore because they break and they're hard to work with"...ummm ok, then why did you sell it to us in the first place?! DO NOT SHOP HERE, EVER EVER EVER! They are deceptive, unscrupulous and unwilling to concede that their secret 7-day return policy is an unreasonably short period of time and is unfair to their customers. So, here's my story very briefly: I bought a necklace for my wife for our first anniversary which I thought looked a lot like her vintage wedding ring. When I purchased the item there was absolutely no mention made of their ridiculously short 7-return policy. Unfortunately, my taste in jewelry is different than my wife's and she didn't really like it. Fast forward to today, less than 2 weeks from the date I bought it, and they were completely unwilling to take the return or even to give a store credit for an unworn, unwanted item that was purchased in good faith. The woman that 'helped' me was very rude and totally unapologetic when turning me away due to their punitively short return policy. She even seemed to take a measure of glee that I was wholly without recourse due to their deceptive business dealings. I would never shop here again and I would urge you to find any other option if you were planning on shopping here, there are plenty of other business that actually value their customers and treat them equitably (even when it is at odds with a stated policy) simply because it is the right thing to do. Don't shop here! UPDATE: At no point was I offered a store credit, I would have taken that in a heartbeat. I would love to hear the audio recording you supposedly have running in your store at all time. Also, you would have no idea when this occurred, so that is all a fabrication and more proof of your shady business dealings. read more

I will never go back to the store again! The owner is an ASS. He is more concerned about being right than he is about customer service. Because of his poor attitude they have lost a very consistent customer of theirs. I will find a jeweler who knows what customer service means. The owner of this store is so rude. He doesn't care about his customers. Husband bought a necklace for Christmas present. We were traveling so after Christmas just finally doing returns. Did not work for me. Went to store and owner wouldn't let me return, says 1 week return window. Says "his system" doesn't allow him to return. Says is on receipt. Show him the receipt and he says there's another one. Call husband and asked if he had another receipt and was he aware only a week to return. Husband says no and owner was one to assist him. Owner says all he can do is offer store credit to the tune of close to $500. What happened to customer service? Not even a budge even though we were not notified of return policy nor given a "receipt stating so" if I had it don't you think I would have made sure to get to the store within a week before traveling? He says he gives the receipt to everyone... apparently not! I suggested he staple it together at time of sale if he is so sure he gave to my husband basically calling us liars! Update-My husband called the store and the owner approved for an exchange... So I was able to exchange my pair of earrings for ones that I love. Smart of the owner since most exchanges will result in an upsell. Much happier customer now! Should have a better policy in place for exchanges so more customers will be happy with their experience. Awful service. My husband spent near $1,000 in jewelry at this location for me. Unfortunately one of the pair of earrings I wasn't a fan of. I went in to exchange it for something else and the girl at the counter was unapologetic and said the exchange policy for Christmas gifts is by Dec 29th, it's now Jan 19th. That policy alone is ridiculous since we were out of state during that time and her attitude made me not want to ever give this company our money! We will be taking our business elsewhere! When you spend a lot of money on jewelry, I'd expect another level of service!! read more

A pleasant experience, I went in to buy a ring setting for the diamond I just bought and Mr. Kourosh was very pleasant to work with. He was very honest to how much money he was making off the jewelry, which to me is fine because he's in business to make money, so as long as I think it was a good value then it's a deal!! This jeweler doesn't seem trustworthy to me . I bought a Christmas present for my wife and specially discussed exchanging the bracelet if my wife didn't like it. The sales woman said I had until 2 days after Christmas to exchange it. My wife went in on December 27 and they refused to do anything despite my specific discussion with the sales women. It is really disappointing that this small jeweler treated my wife and me with such disrespect and dishonesty. She didn't want a refund she wanted to exchange it for something else. read more
