They have high quality products at fair prices. I am pretty familiar with outdoor gear and know which equipment has high rating by other respected outdoor travelers. The Hiker Box has it. I just picked up a compression sack for a North Face sleeping bag and planning to buy a new stove and cot from the Hiker Box. I had compared their prices with those via the internet and they are almost identical. In a short conversation with a couple of the folks from the store as I was checking out I was told that they personally check out almost every piece of gear they sell. From Jet Boil Stoves to backpacks for your dog, they have it. Probably the biggest reason to shop at the Hiker Box is in knowing that what you buy will be well researched, quality products. The tents will not leak, the took will open and you will get fair pricing.

There's nothing wrong with talking about your personal life at work, however, at the sheer volume she was displaying was a bit much. I could hear her while I was in the changing room... and I love drama. Other than that, all of the girls that worked downstairs were so sweet and kind :)
