You know what, this was a much better experience than I anticipated. Victory is an older ship and the decor is very old school Vegas lounge, but I had a great time. Embarkarion was smooth as was finding our room. This was a 3 night charter cruise by Envicta watches. They really pulled out all the stops and Carnival definately lived up to its reputation as a "party" cruise line. So much so that it may be a little too much for most people. Crowd was loud and rowdy. But, I expected that and got what I was looking for. The main pool is rather small and is jammed pack with people which makes it hard to enjoy the pool. That goes for hot tubs as well. People are literally squeezed into the. No thanks! Dining was open and the food and service was surprisingly very good. Plenty of choices as well as vegetarian options. Carnivals famous chocolate soufflee dessert lives up to its reputation. I'm not usually a fan of cruise ship desserts but I ordered this every night it was that good. Staff were really nice and accommodating. Our cabin attendandant Answat was really cool. Dining room staff top notch. Security professional and polite. I think for shorter cruises Victory isn't too bad, but again a very dated and small ship. You'd start going bonkers after 3 or 4 days aboard this. The decor literally makes you dizzy and nauseous. The addition of the Alchemy Bar gave a modernized place to escape have a drink at...and I had a many!!

As a fact, however, there is a ship line for everyone offering entirely different experiences as well as a differing set of passengers from the kids of Disney Line to the ardent explorers of the Lindblad ships. But the really good part of all this is that no matter your choice, chances are good you'll be treated well no matter the ship line you choose. Carnival Victory was launched in 2000 as a Destiny-class ship, has a passenger capacity of 3,400, a crew of 1,000, a nine deck atrium with four elevators, a huge theater, a main along with varying specialty dining areas. The ship was built upon a theme representing the various oceans and seas of the world and last underwent a refit in 2015. Everything is pretty much set up as on most other ships with pools, a main dining hall, varying specialty dining restaurants at an extra charge, quick food stations for burgers, pizza, wings, etc. and a "Lido Deck" buffet. Several pools and a huge big flat screen entertainment arrangement.

I admit that this was my first cruise; it departed from Miami from Nassau about a week and a half after Hurricane Irma roared through the region. Though this was my 1st cruise, I have the photographic evidence that I had a great time on this fun ship (unlike the naysayers who didn't back up their accounts of the trip). Food: a lot more delicious and impressive than I expected. There was also moderate variety too. Dining room/dining hall, to which you are assigned a dining time - highly recommended for the food, service and ambience! Cleanliness/hygiene: having in mind the horror stories of norovirus stomach flu epidemics on cruise ships, I came prepared with Immodium, probiotics. While I brought Dramamine, Bonine and sea band for in case of sea-motion sickness. But no medication was needed at all while on the cruise! It was super clean and orderly! Room service came at your preference time to change your sheets and towels, etc. Entertainment: 2 thumbs up for (stand up) comedy club, casino, spa services, bars, big screen tv, photo ops, fitness center. 1 thumb on pools Staff/crew members: super friendly, energetic, fun and eager to serve. I was indeed impressed! Especially the cruise director, Felipe, the "woohoo man." As well as Isaac the bingo man and all the room service and photography staff. *Remember, if you're here for a good time, then enjoy/relax and make the most of it!!!

Just look at the picture, gum in a napkin. I recommend to anyone interested in going on a cruise to save up a bit more and go for a better cruise line. To say we got what we paid for would be unjustified. The total price with every extra cent they try and squeeze out of you adds up quick... and for what? A pool the size of a peanut? A second pool the size of a pistachio? They claim it was recently renovated but the rails and pools scream tetanus. The rules of certain operations take away from the vacation feel. Buying a drink package and having to wait time between drinks? Allow me to stare at the bartenders for 5 minutes after taking a shot. I would have went 1 star but Denny from east pool deck bar saved your ass, brotha was live. The gentlemen from the coffee bar with braces was also great. Vane from the restaurant was the epitome of the experience. Awful. The whole restaurant was half empty before our drinks got to the table. I can go on about vane but chances are you'll never see him. He prefers to spend his time in the kitchen with the microwave chefs. The lack of activities for those aged 12 and up really made the time go slow. When the captain decides to swing wide of the Bahamas so you can spend a day at sea, you'll know what I mean. After swimming in the kitty pool and dumping your money into the casino, you're stuck waiting 5 minutes for the next drink. To stay consistently entertained on the carnival victory, expect to use the right side of that brain because you better be damn creative. There really isn't much to do. The food is probably the worst part. Your stomach is screaming "fuck you" with every single bite. the food is grotesque. Even when it sounds or looks good, you'll be unpleasantly surprised. Probably the only consistent part of this outing was the boof ass food. Save your money and stay home, because I cannot wait to get back.

Balcony window was nasty. Dirty w/ spit & stain all over. Kind of killed the point of having a balcony

They say that there's no such thing as a bad cruise. You're not at work. You're healthy and fortunate enough to afford such a luxury. But there are levels to these things. In case you don't want to read a novel here's the summary: Come with realistic expectations. There's a reason Disney and Virgin Voyages charge a premium. There's a reason Carnival doesn't, particularly on this ship. Walmart or worse quality of service in most areas. We had a great time but the deficiencies in operations, maintenance and staff were glaring. Bottom line- you get what you pay for. Overall I would have traded the balcony room on this ship/cruise and paid the same for interior on NCL or Royal and had a higher quality experience. The affordability of this cruise opens up cruising to a lot of folks, and that's wonderful. Unfortunately the bad experience may leave anyone with an actual option of who to cruise with to never willingly coming back. For some background we've sailed Carnival before and also, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Disney. My wife and our 10-year-old daughter stayed in an AFT extended balcony room on the 7th deck and were on the 4 night Caribbean to Key West and Cozumel. We'll start with the positive and go downhill from there. The Best Hunter Deblanc at Piano Bar. Hands down, most entertained I've ever been. We're from Vegas. We have no shortage of fun places and entertaining things to do. Hunter was biggest highlight of this cruise. If I we were on the fence between two cruises in future and he were on one of them, I'd pick that one. He's that good. Not your mother's piano guy. At least not after 1030pm. Extra awesome was the fact that he was making extra sure that the server Suresh was being taken care of and treated well by patrons. Outstanding in every way. The Pretty Darn Good Gym. Overwhelmed. Clean. Well stocked and exceeded expectation. Sauna being free, albeit aged, was also a plus. Adult's only deck area was nice and enjoyable, when the slide line wasn't full of kids that is. Above Par- Oswi & Ace our servers on our next to last night were the only meal time service that was above par. They were excellent. Everyone else was Walmart or worse. These guys stood out like a sore thumb they were so good and attentive. More Oswi's and Ace's and this cruise is a different level. My wife had two treatments at the Spa and said both technicians were excellent, particularly the massage therapist The Ok- Food options. For the price, the options of food was good. Not necessarily the quality, but the options were better than expected. Mind boggling Who puts a small sushi car next to the bar in a smokey casino?! The freshest, cleanest food available (for a $ too) and you stick it in an ash tray? We would have gotten sushi if it were anywhere else on the ship. Terrible decision. Busy lunch time as port time ended in Key West and there's one person at the very popular Pizza Pirate. A line of 10-15 people, myself included waited for 15 minutes without the lone employee so much as saying a word. A simple "I'll be with you as soon as possible" would have done wonders. This is the Walmart level stuff that was evident throughout the ship. The Bad Balcony glass was filthy. Like nasty. Beautiful ocean view only to be ruined by being seen through nasty, grimy lenses. Total shame. Curtains had holes and various questionable stains. Coffee, maybe a little blood. Who knows but they were nasty and since we had a balcony we saw the dirty curtains every time we stepped in/out to look at the dirty glass... I mean nice view. The Worst In hindsight I wish I would have said something at the time. After boarding we were waiting in Camp Ocean for our daughter to check it out and some middle aged white corporate lady with a British accent was belittling a camp employee. She made a comment about Carnival being a multi million dollar company while criticizing the employee. First off, you're saying that to a person making very little money during 9 month tour. Secondly, I've never reprimanded a subordinate in public. Doing what she did in front of customers who could clearly hear was very unprofessional. Left me with bad taste in my mouth.

I have been traveling on Carnival Cruise line for years. I have had 8 cruises so far with this cruise line. I have had no issues to totally cause me to not want to travel with them. I have learn tricks and helpful things that have made my cruises very enjoyable, despite all the negative issues people are experiencing. It takes a few trips to learn what is the best, easiest and enjoyable way to travel for you. My first review is on the CHEF TABLE that Carnival Cruise line offers to its guest at a cost of $75 a person. It is truly worth every penny ! It is a once in a life time experience I encourage everyone to experience. It was wonderful, fabulous and I would do it every cruise I can. You must sign up for this a head of time, when you book the cruise and use, the cruise line website to book. I know a few people have tried to get this dinner, when they boarded the ship, but they sell out before the cruise date of departure. The only way you can get it at last minute is if someone cancels once the cruise starts. The Chef Table is the last day of the cruise. I love exploring the kitchen galley and learning how they prepare and serve the food. I highly recommend !! The pictures I have added I hope you can see just how excellent it really was. The second set of photos are from a Girlfriends get-away. Knowing what to expect when you book a cruise really helps you to enjoy the cruise. The third set of photos are from the same GF trip. A shore excursion to the Pirates of Nassau Museum. Highly recommend this excursion. A short walk from the ship on a side street off the main street. Easy walk.

I love Carnival but this cruise, not so great. I was on the Victory 1/6-1/10/2020 with Savannah as the cruise director. Ports of call were Half Moon Cay and Nassau Bahamas. There was not much on the itinerary that was really that great. Especially during the day. Usually, the sail away party gets the fun started and you are just so excited about the cruise, not this one. First of all, you rarely saw the cruise director. Other cruise directors you see at everything! Not Savannah. The party never got started. The food was beyond sub par compared to other ships. I do have to say the Tomato and Mozzarella Sandwich from the deli was the best thing I ate. Guy's burger was second. The shows had a horrible female singer, Rachel, that ruined each show because her voice actually hurt your ears. It was so high pitched. Overall, staff was friendly. There were a few staff members that were rude. Jaylyn Bishop and Percy Crews 2 were the comedians on board - they were funny but not as funny as previous comedians we have seen on board the ships. The ship itself was very nice. Hard to believe they are redoing it after such a short time from it being renovated. Half Moon Cay is beautiful! The sand is like silk and the water is so calm. Loved it and didn't want to leave. We did the 10 best of Nassau excursion in Nassau. We had a great tour guide and it was very informative. Had a great time but wish our cruise director was better, which would have made my vacation better.

First time cruiser. I'm truly a getaway girl because I like to hang out with the locals and experience their culture. So this was VERY new to me but my girlfriend convinced me to do a short cruise and test the waters out, literally lol All in all I had a good time but I definitely wouldn't book Victory again in the near future unless they did some major renovations and revised their food selections and activities. Boarding: easier than I imagined and staff was knowledgeable and helpful in a smooth check in. Had our luggage delivered to our room, they arrived about 35 mins after we got settled in our room Room: TINY space! Sheesh I wasn't prepared lol. Being as though I am usually staying in a spacious king room it was an adjustment. Balcony had just enough space for 2 small chairs and table. Two twins pushed together to make a king (for obvious reasons, it's too small to fit anything larger). Had to lower the toilet seat after every use in order to flush. Hated it! Drinks: We opted out of the alcohol package and we are happy we did! Message me for details on that... we also brought on a case of ginger ale. Juices were pretty consistent each day in the dining hall. Lemonade, some sort of passion fruit punch and unsweetened tea we're available at breakfast then sometimes just unsweetened tea at lunch and lemonade only in the evening. Boring but it did the job Food: Guy's burgers . The taco spot. Sandwich bar. All amazing, fresh. Long queues but when you're hungry you wait. Best meal imo was breakfast and brunch in the "fancy" dining rooms. Dinners were just ok and the captains dinner was nothing to brag about however Guillermo our server made EVERY night a memorable one! He was the highlight of dinner. Late night eats: who doesn't love to grab a bite after a night of drinking and partying?! Pizza was available freshly made personal pies which u could easily split between two if you weren't starving. Line was usually super long but that was the only option after hours. I'd suggest adding fries and maybe burgers to the late night options just to switch things up a bit. I disliked their system that if you were a small party coming to breakfast or brunch they would sit you with another group of people and wait until the table was mostly full before they began taking orders. Terrible policy The night club was pretty decent and the comedy shows were extremely funny. Karaoke was also a good time. Not the MOST activities to do but enough to keep you busy including movie nights and mini golf. Price for pics were outrageous. Passed on that. Pool water was always murky and unwelcoming. Didn't seem as if there was enough pool space for all the guests which is quite disappointing considering the heat and humidity in/near the Bahamas is crazy high. Adult retreat was overcrowded and felt nothing like a retreat. Slide was fun.

Abridged version: if you're on a budget and are the go with the flow type of person this is the cruise ship for you. Unabridged version: to me, Carnival Cruise line is kind of like the Spirit Airlines of the sea. You say you're going on a Carnival cruise and people look at you with this, "why?" look on their faces. And many will ask you, "why?" Here's the thing, I booked a five night cruise and paid $680 for the entire room. In my head I couldn't get a better vacation if I wanted. Where can I fly to and stay for five days and spend that or less? Nowhere. So in my mind I already won. The ship itself recently went through dry dock and has the new fun ship 2.0 amenities, but this is one of their older ships so it's still a little tattered. The rooms were much nicer than I expected. I figured I would be with the steerage or a broom closet but I had ample space and plenty of room in the shower (I'm 6'6). The food was good- not amazing, but good. Nothing was so bad I couldn't eat it but nothing made me say, "OMG I have to have that every day" either. It was average to above average. The gym was a highlight. Probably the nicest I've seen on a cruise ship. And the locker room area was clean and well maintained. There are plenty of activities on the ship including karaoke which was a huge hit on this ship. The alchemy bar is a plus too. A place to get real drinks when you're tired of those drink of the day which is filled with sugar. When you're on what people will call a budget cruise you'll see a variety of people. And I sure did. You can just sit back and watch them have fun- and you'll definitely laugh. This is not the ship for those who want peace and quiet for days- you won't find that here. Would I cruise this ship again? No, but only because I would want to try another ship of Carnivals. If I had to, absolutely, but would like a bigger ship for next time. Was I happy with my vacation? Most definitely. For the money and the days on the ship I could not beat the deal and quality Carnival provided. This is not a Princess cruise so I don't expect Princess quality and/or service, but what I did have was an amazing vacation I'll always remember.

This is my second time on the Victory. I initially rode her in 2007, and it was my very first cruise. This time around there were many positives to the vacation, along with a couple of small areas for improvement. I'll start with the most important... Food & drinks: Victory was recently updated with a Guy's Burger Joint, Red Frog Rum Bar, Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, and Blue Iguana taco bar, all located on Lido deck. Just inside there is a Chinese station and a sandwich station, then the Lido buffet, and the pizza place beyond that. Positives- The tacos were tasty, and the burgers were very yummy. Loved the fully stocked condiment stations for each option. Lido buffet offered a nice salad bar, and Sunday's lunch was great! It was themed Southern Comfort and was yummy! They also had a dessert theme of Chocolate Extravaganza that same day and I loveeeee chocolate so this pleased me greatly! Also enjoyed the 24 hour soft serve ice cream. Negatives- Lido buffet was hit or miss with some days being really good and some days leaving more to be desired. The sandwich bar was a miss for me. I tried a Southwest Chicken wrap and it was made up of about 90% lettuce, 5% chicken, and 5% tomato, cheese, and bacon. I wondered if it was just a fluke, but saw other people's sandwiches looked like lettuce-only sandwiches, too. To make matters worse, there was a LARGE bone in my wrap and I had to spit out several pieces of chicken fat/skin. Gross. The pizza was okay, but the dough was entirely too thin. I am all for a thin pizza, but the bread has to hold the cheese and not just disappear. Flavor was ok. Also, fruit punch used to be offered all day but they have scaled back and it was only available at breakfast time. Only water, lemonade, and plain iced tea were offered the rest of the day. That sucked. Alcohol: My first drink was at the Red Frog Rum bar and it was meh. Ordered a Captain & coke and it was poured on the skimpy side. Measured exactly with no extra pour that bartenders typically do. It was $7.95 plus a 15% gratuity and I wasn't very pleased with it. I then went in search of the Happy Hour special, a Rum Punch. The happy hour was only offered in the casino bar, and here I was pleased. The bartender was more friendly and poured a good, decent strength drink with that little extra pour at the end. Thank you!! Overall, alcohol is a fair price and a 15% gratuity is reasonable. Entertainment: I was impressed with the variety of happenings. We were traveling with my daughter (her first cruise!) and there was Trick or Treating available for her the first night. Super cute! Gave us a bag and map and we got to have fun exploring the ship while getting candy! She loved it. There was also a "Scary Chest" contest on Sunday that was hilarious and entertaining. Be aware if you volunteer to be a female judge, they ask you to twerk to earn your spot. I found out the hard way, lol. They also had pumpkin carving for the little ones!! Loved the poolside movies!! Showing great movies each night!! Amenities: Gym was great! Yoga classes were available for a fee for all you yogi's out there. Good selection of equipment and everything was clean and organized. Steam room and sauna available, separate for men and women. Running track located above Lido. The ship is pretty large and back in 2007 it was running 6 night cruises. There are several pools, hot tubs, an adults-only area, and a fun water slide. As with any cruise, the pools are not very large, and start to be gross mid-day as the drunkards are in full swing and using it as a toilet. They should drain it and refill it mid-day... flush the toilet. Crowd: This Cruise seems to attract a rowdier crowd. Mostly groups of singles, some adult family reunion types, couples looking to party, and some families with small children, the minority here. Still, Carnival does a good job trying to make the kids feel welcome amidst all the debauchery. Camp Carnival was a cute option, and a nice opportunity for the parents to have a little time for themselves! They also offered after-hours care for a fee. Thank you Camp Carnival!! Staff: I have always been impressed with the Carnival staff. They are 90% polite, very friendly, and helpful. Always smiling and offering help without having to be asked. We ordered some dessert for room service and it came SO fast! I called for ice and it was there right away!! My expectations were always surpassed. Great team of people!! Overall: Victory is a good ship; a trusty ship. There are no pretentious attitudes here. People are here to let loose and have a good time. You will meet people from all different walks of life. Biggest recommendation is if they could categorize some floors as quiet floors. I was awoken SEVERAL times each night by rowdy guests hollering down the hallways, and that part SUCKED. I don't do well if I'm not well-rested and I slept like CRAP the entire trip.

Check your mattress. This is what we found on the last day of our cruise, we will never cruise with carnival again. SO GROSS!!
    Shelly B.

I have been on a total of 4 cruises, all of them have been with Carnival. I have to say after this last cruise on Victory, I will never go on another Carnival Cruise again. The boat was dirty and the pool water never looked clean. It was more of a brownish color. Our stateroom was the ultimate disappointment. Check your mattresses. On our last day, we lifted the mattress to make sure we didn't leave anything. To our horror there was a HUGE brown stain at the bottom of our mattress. To make it worst, carnival could careless, which one would think this happens all the time or they just do not care. See photo. The only good thing on the cruise was our dining staff. He was great! He was the only star there.

We went on this cruise for my sister's bachelorette party/trip. And let me just tell you that we turn this ship out!!!! It was about 15 of us and we had an absolute blast. From attending the shows, bingo, and doing karaoke this boat has a lot of things for you to do. They have quite of few swimming pools as well. And the food!!!! I think we all gained like 20 pounds eating the food. The sandwich spot was one of my favorites. This ship also offers a lot of yummy drink specials daily. If you don't want to spend too much on alcohol. I had so much fun on this trip! People were coming up to us just to hangout with the fun crew! I can't wait for my next cruise!

This cruise had a variety of options for food, drinks, and entertainment. There are specially restaurants that are reasonably priced. The seafood restaurant has a seafood platter for only $10. There are international options. There is also a different menu nightly in the dining room. If you're not feeling up to dressing up, the Lido deck has food options 24 hours a day. The drinks are about $10 each and decent. Beware of the bring your own wine to the dining room. There is a $15 cork fee. There is entertainment for everyone. Camp Carnival is a great option to offer parents some free time from the kids. There are nightly family friendly and adult shows. My issues with this cruise were as follows: My plumbing in the restroom was not repaired until my last day on the ship. They charge you $51 for gratuity and don't allow you to decide how it's divided. You can however request this charge be removed from your balance and distribute your own gratuities. The cork fee is robbery. The bathrooms in common areas need attention several times a day. The Lido buffet manager was very rude and closed the buffet with cruisers in line. Ovetall this was a good cruise with just a few quirks.

When I booked on TripAdvisor, the tour was listed as being 1hour and 20 minutes. The sail time was listed as 2:30pm with a suggested arrival time of 2pm. We arrived at 2pm on March 19th 2026. We easily found the waiting area...by the Ferris wheel and Hard Rock Cafe. There was no particular order to the line. Once the crew arrived they scanned our digital confirmations and handed us paper tickets. They pulled this wooden ship's wheel out, and began directing us to the wheel to take a photo. We knew this to be a marketing ploy for possible purchase of the photo later. Normally, I do not have an issue with this, I get it. However when we tried to decline the taking of the photo, we were told it was for "safety purposes " and we could always decline the purchase later. Really? I've never heard of such a thing? I felt as though they weren't being honest with us. Once on board, the ship did not pull off until 2:50pm. We returned at 3:50pm. So, in actuality the tour was an hour. The tour let us know about a few historical facts about Biscayne Bay and pointed out celebrity mansions. I know this is a pretty standard tour for the area. This particular one felt rushed with the narrator speaking fast, the music mediocre and not much group interaction. I probably have exhausted my Biscayne Bay tours. I do not see me taking another one, and certainly not with this company.

However, we were very disappointed because the ship was dirty, the smell of gasoline was nauseating at times, and even worse, there was a horrible smell, that of a dead rat or animal of the sort, and trash as well. That aspect made the tour unpleasant and it's unacceptable. THEY NEED TO CLEAN THAT BOAT! PS. The music they play its EXTREMELY LOUD!

The boat was spacious, clean and the crew was very helpful. Great option of snacks and drinks. Jorge from the team did a fantastic job keeping everyone safe explaining the needed safety procedures and politely redirecting people if they stood in an unsafe place or position during the tour. Dr. George has a plethora of knowledge about literally anything we seem to pass by and provides the commentary in a generally neutral and positive way (not always easy to do when discussing Miami's history!). There was also staff onboard from the museum that were very helpful to answer questions. Just a couple points of feedback about the ship: the snack and drink bar seemed to not be able to accept card, due to technical difficulties, which was a bummer since many people nowadays don't have cash. Also, the indoor space at the bottom seemed to be kept very cold. But of course, there were lots of other options for seating including the top that is covered and the front part of the boat had a great view and plenty of room for lots of people.

You should reserve tickets in advance if you want to secure a time. The departure point in Bayside Marketplace, an open air mall and bar / restaurant / entertainment complex in downtown. Parking here (for 2+ hours, which is pretty much required to cover the entire cruise + check-in window) was $34! You are required to check in 45 minutes before departure, probably so they can ensure you don't show up at the last minute and demand a refund. From what I could tell, there were several other boat tour companies also hawking trips from multiple booths at this mall, so maybe you can just walk up for some of them (?). We boarded about 15 minutes before departure. This involved getting forced photos taken, which is always a bad sign to me. If you had arrived early enough (before we did) they even tracked you down before the departure to try to sell you photos. In our case, we just exited afterwards and never got the sales pitch. The cruise itself is not bad. Miami's Biscayne Bay is certainly scenic, and the boats, homes, and skyline you see are interesting. My advice would be to sit on the right / starboard side, as you can generally get better views from there. The cruise starts along the Miami shoreline, then heads out into the bay past various islands. Eventually, you come upon a few areas that are densely developed with high-end homes. The owners of the homes were mostly people whom I'd never heard of - local retiree billionaires who sold pharmaceutical companies, whoever founded Instagram, someone who owns and NBA franchise, etc. Occasionally some name would come up that I had heard of (people recently tried or jailed for things, musicians from a bit further back, etc.). You then pass some even more exclusive island with more generic condos where other celebrities (most of whom I'd heard of) live at least part time. Then you pass the working port area with the cranes and large container ships en route back. The last 10 minutes of the cruise is again the Miami shoreline. The guy doing the narration was good - he seamlessly switched between English and Spanish and sounded fluent in both. There was a bar on board and some of the tour group were quite enthusiastic about it. However, given that I was facing 30+ minutes in Friday Miami rush hour right after the tour, I didn't really want to add alcohol to that scenario. In summary - this wasn't bad, it just wasn't "for us". The scenery was nice, but a lot of the 'content' was stuff I just don't care about.

I understand this is a high-speed boat attraction and have ridden many times. I was simply trying to explain how wind direction and passenger positioning can affect the amount of spray passengers receive. In my experience, captains have previously appreciated these discussions and handled them professionally. Instead of listening, staff repeatedly and aggressively told me that I would get wet, which completely missed the point I was trying to make. When I asked to speak with a captain or supervisor, my request was denied. The situation became increasingly confrontational. I was told not to educate an adult individual at the kiosk about nautical terminology, despite my attempt to explain a legitimate concern. I was also uncomfortable being recorded without my permission. Rather than de-escalating the situation, staff called security and threatened police removal. As a long-time customer, I found that response excessive and unnecessary. I expect better customer service, professionalism, and respect from a business I have supported for years. Management should review how this incident was handled and provide additional training on customer relations and conflict de-escalation.

I found these guys on Yelp and decided to call them to see if there was any last minute availability. To my surprise, they had a tour available for the following day, our last day in Miami. That same night I got a call from the owner. I was dreading answering the phone because I thought for sure it was them calling to cancel on us because of some unforeseen circumstances. But I was wrong! The owner called to let us know that he had an even better tour (one more suitable for what we were trying to do) at a much more convenient time! I really appreciate that they thought to call us and offer us the more beneficial package. I should add that the owner was super kind and helped me throughout the entire booking process. He was very patient with me while I struggled to book online. There site is super easy to navigate, I'm just not tech-savvy. When we did go out on our tour, we were given the greatest captain/instructor. Captain Sasha was so sweet and funny and knowledgeable. It was my first time snorkeling and he walked me through everything and made it all so simple. He was kind enough to take a ton of wonderful photos of my friend and me while we snorkeled. He let us take our time and enjoy ourselves and was such a pleasure. He even gave us a tour of the area which I know he did not have to do. I am so glad that we went with these guys during our time in Miami. Highly recommend them! Thanks again!

We went around the mansions and islands of Biscayne Bay for about 90 minutes as the sun set. The tour guide was informative while keeping things light and fun, and the DJ added to the atmosphere by timing songs from artists like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin as we passed their homes. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and although the boat was on the smaller side, it didn't feel crowded. The top and front were open-air, with covered seating downstairs. Approaching the lit-up Miami skyline at the end of the ride was a highlight. The boat had a bar with reasonably priced drinks ($5 beers and $10 cocktails) and snacks available for purchase. The only downside was unclear check-in instructions. The email said the booth was inside Bayside Marketplace behind Chili's on the second floor. Right across from Chili's is a storefront for a different tour operator, and downstairs there are at least ten other booths with similar names, which made it confusing. After asking around, we learned the Fiesta Cruises booth was actually outside on the dock--you have to walk through the Tasca Paella restaurant to reach it. Once we found it, check-in and boarding were smooth. Parking at the garage can also be challenging, especially on weekend evenings or during events. My tour coincided with a Miami Heat game next door, which made traffic and parking more difficult and expensive (a $57 flat event rate). The company did send a warning email recommending public transit or rideshare. Even arriving an hour early, it still took about 40 minutes to park and locate the check-in booth.
