I recently went from two finger bowling to a traditional grip with my thumb. The wonderful ladies at this establishment have been gracious enough to drill those thumb holes for free after bringing them a few balls to start with. Everyone at this place is so knowledgeable and more importantly they're nice, which is a welcome change of pace from my local pro shop which is full of blowhard elitists who happen to have a monopoly on the market since it's the only one in town. What a wonderful group of people that run this pro shop. I bowled a ton in college but ten years later i am just now getting back into bowling so i got fitted for a new ball and i could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was extremely patient with me, gave great advice and took a ton of time with me to make sure I got what i was looking for. I stepped inside to see what they had and maybe purchase a ball. They were very welcoming and greeting me when I walked in and answering any questions I had after I left the shop I visited another shop, which with the complete opposite experience as a Carol's. Awwwome selection for any and all your bowling needs... what really sets them apart is the service...they're freaking awesome! Carol and Donna won't sell you the wrong equipment. They'll help you understand your game and what you need! They carry mainly Storm balls and are both Storm staff bowlers, but they do have a wide variety of other equipment so not to worry, they have or can get what you're looking for. In addition to balls, they have a wide selection of shoes, bags and any other accessories to help your game, or at the very least (like me) make you look like you know what you're doing! ;) Highly recommend these ladies!! read more

My wife and I are very casual bowlers. We go about once every other month, and we are in the "If I break 100 I am happy," club. Our only problem is my wife often has trouble finding a ball. So for Christmas I decided to get her a bowling ball (I am such a romantic). I did my research, and went to Carol Stormin' Norman's Pro Shop. They talked to me and understood I was not in the market for a fancy ball. I just wanted one she could throw straight. They have a pretty large selection with a wide price range. I picked out a ball and gave it to my wife for Christmas. The ball did not come pre-drilled, so after Christmas we went back and had the ball drilled (included in the price of the ball). They measured her hand gradually got the fit dialled in. We went bowling after and my wife said it felt great. The new ball looked really smooth rolling down the lane. We are not big bowlers, but we like to have the right equipment. The staff was friendly and the experience was great. I know where I am going to go when I am ready to buy a ball! read more

A HUGE thank you to Carol, Donna, and the rest of the team at the pro shop. I went in to purchase the Storm Phaze 4 as a replacement/complement to my current Ebonite Destiny Hybrid, and they did way more than just sell me a bowling ball. Donna took the time to watch me bowl and was able to quickly point out flaws in my form and offer tips to fix them. Not only that, she let me work on incorporating her tips and stuck with me while I did so. The whole process was extremely smooth, with Carol taking the time and care to precisely measure out everything needed to drill my new bowling ball and also the finger inserts. I later found out that Donna intended on purchasing the exact ball that I was getting, yet she helped me out every step of the way and didn't (jokingly) hold that against me. Its pretty rare people turn down $$ but now its been twice that they have told me " you don't need that" all you need is to ---------- no sell just truth and a bit of info.
