I would give it zero stars if I could. Carolina Forest hearing center ripped me off. Also they were very rude each time I contacted them. I have a hearing service dog and they who are supposedly in the hearing aid industry, said that I couldn't bring my dog in there! Supposedly somebody was allergic. This is against the ADA laws. They sold me hearing aids that were wrong for me because they didn't have anything to suit my needs. I didn't know that at the time. They were paid for partly by my insurance and mostly by me. They even wanted to charge $10.00 for each little plastic tube. When I told my current audiologist that, he couldn't believe it! They don't charge for tubes anywhere else. I've been wearing hearing aids from more than 35 years. The care quality of this place is zero. I meant to write a review along time ago but "Terry" said that she was retiring when I last saw her. read more

Carolina Forest Hearing Center was a godsend to me. I was recommended to them by another satisfied customer. Both Terry and Josh were compassionate and sensitive to my hearing needs, unlike other hearing centers who seemed to focus on how much money they could extract from me. Terry and her dedicated staff (hubby and son-in-law!) are the best! I had put off getting hearing aids for several years. I was in denial, so when I found this hearing center, I was sort of deflated. I didn't want to be there, didn't want to need hearing aids. But, after my initial hearing test, Terry assured me we could address all of my concerns and the items on my wish list. On the return visit, she explained everything so well! I learned about my hearing loss, and it explained so much about the troubles I was having hearing people. She decided on a hearing aid that addressed my loss and my wishes, and we gave it a try for a couple of weeks. When that aid didn't satisfy me, she pulled out another type and programmed them up for my loss. I walked out to try again. This time she hit the nail on the head! I've been back for a couple of adjustments to just tweak things, but overall, I am very satisfied. I am resigned to wearing hearing aids, but Terry's expertise and patience with me has made the adjustment so easy for me. Most of the time I forget I'm wearing them! OK, so picking an audiologist out of the Yellow Pages can be sketchy, but this newly opened mom-and-pop business could not have been more professional, innovative and dedicated. One of my hearing aids had broken in two. No problem. It was still under warranty even though purchased in London nearly two years ago. The audiologist then tested my rusty hearing with state-of-the- art equipment and re-programmed the aids (via computer) to compensate for specific needs. Every detail was researched and resolved. What they provide is personal service beyond compare. read more
