There was a mixup with my appointment being scheduled. The young lady was to give me an appointment for 3 months later. She gave me the appointment card reflecting 3 months but she put it in the computer for 18 months away. Got to the office for my appointment but was told the young lady wo made my appointment entered it into 2027 not 2026. They did give me an appointment for a few days later. There is a long wait once you arrive for your appointment. ​ once you go to the back you wait again for a very long time. Once you see your Dr your in and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff is very pleasant as is the Dr. If it weren't for scheduling issues and wait time I would give a 5* but those 2 issues are important to me. They should schedule appointments that are realistic. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Waccamaw Dermatology for a very painful skin infection. I was warmly greeted by Jayden at the front desk who could not have been more helpful to my nurse Angela who spent a least 15 min listening to my concerns intently and briefing the PA , Mr. Bennett on my condition. PA Bennett was knowledgeable, professional, and quite skilled. He was able to diagnose my condition and treat my concerns in less than 15 min. I left the office completly pain free and with a solid treatment plan in place. Waccamaw Dermatology -- specifically Stacey Swineheart, DNP, FNP‑BC, DCNP -- was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. We came in for wart treatment, and Stacey was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire visit. My daughter was very scared going in, and Stacey took her time explaining everything, reassuring her, and making her feel comfortable. Her calm, compassionate approach made a huge difference and turned what could have been a stressful appointment into a positive experience. Someone recommended Stacey Swinehart at the South Strand location to me this time around and she was absolutely amazing. I have pretty severe plaque psoriasis on my hands and feet and possibly psoriatic arthritis. They are very caring and super efficient!! I don't have a long wait. When I arrive they take me in within a few minutes and I don't spend time waiting in the examination room. Stacey and her nurse (Grace, I think?) are genuinely concerned with my progress! I saw Dr. B. yesterday at the South Strand office for the first time. The office staff was so friendly and kind. The wait time was minimal. When I met Dr. B. she was simply a wonder. I don't remember the last time I felt seen and heard by an extraordinary and experienced human being like her. I went in for a growth on my finger which she checked out and froze.
