This business was recommended by my contractor for a shower door in my newly remodeled bathroom. Charged $1400+ in January and after waiting months I decided to cancel the order & request a refund, on 3/17/23. They said it could take up to 30 days (WHAT??). As of today, several phone calls, unpleasant words, assurances that a refund request was put thru their bank, I STILL have no refund, over 30 days later. This is a HORRIBLE business!!! Jody & Bob both assured me the refund was coming. Chrislynn is their puppet who has NO business working in customer service. On January 14, 2015 I spent $4770 on custom glass security doors for our church school. We spoke with "Jody" who told us he would meet with our school executives at 9am but at 9:30 he had not shown. I called him only to be told "I have a job and can't come until this afternoon," Never called to SAY he wasn't coming! Then I gave half down for the doors which "were in stock" but it took another couple of weeks to get them installed. Now, 7 weeks later, there is a hole the size of a quarter in the door allowing a draft into the room, a screw hole has no screw and this firm DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!!! It took days and days to get them back to make the proper adjustments so the doors would even LOCK and these were for a school! We have many many more doors we want to replace but will NEVER use Carolina Glass. I called 3 times today and still NOBODY calls back. RUN, go anywhere, but not here. There is ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just got a call from the owner who told me "I'll get someone out there" then she said "thank-you for sinking my business" and hung up on me! Bad company. For 3 window panes, they quoted me $330. And they were very late arriving for the appointment. I got 2 other quotes for the job for $150, and that's what I got the job done for. Don't bother with Carolina Glass, they will just waste your time. read more

If there were a "minus star" rating I would give a "minus 2 stars". March 2018 I contracted for a simple exterior sliding glass door. It took 11 months for the job to be finished. The owner would NEVER return my call. He directed his staff not to accept my calls. The crew that came out made big mistakes that required taking a chop saw to the opening so that the frame would fit. They drilled screw holes in the bottom frame causing areas for leaking and to top it off they tracked black sealant all over our carpet and did not own up to it until I pointed it out and The owner Wanted to blame the sealant mess on another party. I had to threaten a law suit to get it paid for. If the supervisor DW, who was hired late in the job, had not been there I'm sure we would now be in court. read more

Jody does great work, on time, and at a great price. His price was much, much lower than a competitor. He does what he says he will do and that, sadly, is a rarity these days. I'm now planning to have him do more for us at our church. read more

On Monday, January 28th, I called Carolina Glass to have a front window replaced. They sent out a crew and took measurements. I signed the work order and was told since the window was arched they would have to special order the glass. I explained that I was concerned that the shattered window be replaced as soon as possible because I was worried about the effects of rain and winter weather. About 10 days later I received a call from the company asking whether or not I wanted to order the window. I had assumed that they ordered it right away. They said I had to pay for it first. Of course I understand that policy for special orders but they had not asked me for a payment when I signed the paperwork. I gave them my credit card information and they said they would put a rush on it. I arranged my work schedule to be available for the install on Monday the 18th, about 3 weeks after the initial measurement. When the installer arrived the glass was missing the interior grids. I had specifically pointed out that not only was the glass tempered but it contained grids within the glass. The installer said that it wouldn't be very noticeable. The other half of the arched window being replaced had the grids. All the other divided windows in the house has the grids. I phoned the company and they assured me they would get the proper glass with grids ordered quickly. Shortly after lunch I received a text message (not even a phone call) and the company stated they would not be able to replace my window. I returned the text and asked to be called. When I didn't receive a call back, I phoned the main business number and spoke with Angela. She said that the owner had become very angry and that they were not going to be able to replace my window. They said they couldn't do an arched window. The window was clearly arched when it was measured. Also, I was told the reason it would take 5-7 days was because the arched glass had to be ordered. Why not tell me then and save me three weeks and time off from work. As a business owner myself, I am absolutely at a loss as to the lack of concern shown for customers or for their time.
