Dr. Johncock is surgically trained and provides conservative and surgical care for foot related problems. He also specializes in Sports Medicine of the foot, being the only podiatrist in North Carolina to be recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He is also Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. We also provide regenerative techniques such as Shockwave Treatment for Plantar Fasciitis and SWIFT treatment for Plantar Warts.

I was glad my toenails were cut; but I'm not so sure about how he did it. Maybe I'm wrong of course, but it goes against what I learned on Google...nails should not be rounded..they should be cut straight across in most cases and not cut too short. Mine are crazy short. The other podiatrist I had seemed to do a better job. I think I'll be looking for another doctor.

I have been a long time patient and recently got Medicaid, when trying to schedule an appointment…read morethey said that Medicaid does not pay for podiatry, that is not true at all I double checked. Their website says they are no longer taking new Medicaid patients and that's ok, just be upfront. When asked if they would take my other insurance BC/BS they said they would check to see if they had to file with Medicaid and would call back. They did not. If, they want don't want to take a particular insurance that's fine, no problem, just be professional that means straightforward.

I brought my teenaged daughter in to see Dr Johncock for what I thought was a minor issue, and easy fix. I was thankful that he discovered a much bigger issue, which will require surgery on both feet for her. The staff were incredibly well informed. Dr Johncock was extremely sensitive to the gravity of the news for us, and took time to explain the problem in great detail. He provided written information before we even had a chance to ask for it. Between his literature and his persevering through all of our questions, we left with a solid understanding of the situation. I'm deeply grateful for his expertise and for identifying a problem now when it can be fixed with much more ease than would be the case after she entered adulthood. I recently saw Dr. Johncock for a foot injury and he was great. Not only did he deal with my problem quickly and painlessly but his office staff followed up with me by phone several times over the following week to be sure everything was going well. I'd recommend him without reservation. read more

Dr Johncock has taken care of my feet for 30 years. I am a runner and have had a multitude of issues. Dr Johncock has kept me running with minimal downtime. Orthotics, blisters, ingrown toenails, etc. Fast, friendly service. Takes the necessary amount of time with his patients. read more
