I suppose he didn't like that I didn't trust his opinion. Dr. B has THE worst attitude I've ever witnessed from a doctor. I hope your body breaks down.

This occurred on a Thursday afternoon and since they are closed on Fridays I was not able to get an appointment until 5 days after my injury. It was extremely difficult to get through to a person with wait times of 20-30 min. I booked an appointment with Dr.Ashraf Guirgues but was seen by a PA-c who told me that getting to see a medical doctor was "the luck of the draw". She did a minor exam and then told me that they would need a CT scan to correct the injury to my back. An hour later she said they could not do the scan because I had broken ribs and there was nothing they could do for me but they wanted me to come in for a follow-up in six weeks. I said that I was in severe pain and asked for pain medication. She said that she would call the Rx in "STAT". Hours later the RX was never called in. I called the on-call doctor but was never called back. Three calls and four hours later the on-call Dr. who was a PA called me back and said there was nothing to do now as the Pharmacy was closed (Duh!) but agreed to make sure the medication was ordered in the morning. It was not ordered. I then proceeded to call the office at least 10 more times always getting voice mail and no return calls. Finally, a friend drove 30 miles to the office and stayed there until closing to make sure I got the pain meds needed (8 days after I was injured) In reviewing my records from the visit I noticed that they recommended OTC medication that I told them in writing and in person that I was very allergic to. The notes on my injury were also incorrect as they were to my lower spine not the thoracic level. The nurses were nice as were a few of the clerks but the medical staff was in my opinion inept and subpar. I would avoid this practice if at all possible.

In 2017 my wife was in a car accident, she was hit in the back by a vehicle traveling over 50 MPH…read morewhile she was stopped during road construction. Due to this accident she had a lot of hip pain and was therefore referred to DR. Kirby. I don't remember wether he took X-rays, but eventually he decided that she had a problem with her SI Joint, gave her injections and ordered physical therapy. My wife did the physical therapy but she kept having flare ups that made it difficult to walk due to the pain and his fix for this was injections and more physical therapy. This went on for three years and during a visit in 2020, I insisted that he ordered an MRI of her SI Joint and instead he ordered an MRI of her lower back. When we came in on a follow up appointment, he looked at us with a smirk on his face and asked my wife "Did you enjoy your MRI" and then with no explanation or any indication that he ever looked at the MRI he told us that he couldn't help us anymore and sent us unceremoniously out the door and out of his practice. A few months later, my wife saw another doctor due to the fact that the pain has gotten so bad the she could barely walk and had to use a cane. Her other doctor decided to pull up the MRI that DR Kirby clearly did not look at and was shocked at what he saw, he emediately ordered another MRI just to confirm what he was seeing. It turns out that my wife had a fracture between L4 and L5 that was so obvious that even I could easily see it on top of that she had several herniated disks. I asked DR. Kirby to do an MRI of her SI Joint but in his own arrogance he ordered an MRI of her lower back instead inadvertently ordering the correct MRI and then amusing himself at his clever bait and switch smugly sent us out the door. My final thoughts, at best he didn't bother to look at her MRI (he had the key to actually help her) and because of the injury to his inflated ego caused by my insistence for him to order the MRI, he reverted to a child in a sandbox and dropped her from his practice. At worst, he saw the MRI and due to his bruised ego he dropped her from his practice without letting her know what he saw on her MRI, no explanation given. I would hope that was not the case since that would be evil. My wife ended up having a fusion to repair the damage and remove the pressure on her nerve which was causing her difficulty walking. To DR. Kirby, if you read this, before you decide to come after me with some defamation lawsuit remember, I took the fact that you claim to be a Christian seriously which is why I never came after you with a lawsuit since the Bible that both you and I hold up as absolute truth states that Christians should not sue each other 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, but an apology would be appropriate as per Matthew 5:23-24.

The young dentist, who I assumed is new to the profession, came in and told me I needed all my teeth pulled because my bones were deteriorating from taking Fosamax and Prolia. She needs to work on her people skills. She made me feel like it was my fault. She never offered any other suggestions but gave me an invoice for the cost of pulling all my teeth! I will say that the dental hygienist and x ray tech were efficient and looked like they knew what they were doing. Going to the dentist is always stressful but this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I have since found out that I don't need all my teeth removed and I have options to help reinforce my bone. S\tay away from this place!
