My daughters (age 7 and 4) needed to get dental exams for the school year, and the dentist we had been using for our older daughter was really expensive (we don't have dental insurance). I called around to find someone local that would not break the bank for an exam/cleaning AND would be great with kids. I found what I was looking for here. They were able to get us in for 2 appointments for exams for the day after I called, the front desk staff was perfectly nice, and the hygienist was nice and easy going with my girls. We saw Dr. Puleo and she had a great demeanor with my girls - it was the 4 year old's first time and she was totally comfortable. There's a tv in a visible spot from the chair so the girls could pick a channel to watch to distract them a bit, which will come in very handy when we have a longer appointment (7 year old has a small cavity we have to take care of). I give it a thumbs up so far - prompt, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Plus prices that were do-able without dental insurance (their 2 exams were the price that just a follow up appointment would be at our previous dentist). We'll be back. read more

Best dental experience!! Kind and patient, makes sure you have no pain and discomfort. Gives you lots of information, if you want it, respects your time. They are open one Saturday a month and they have early hours and some night. Staff is pleasant and the dentist is upbeat and cheery. Up to date tools and procedures, resourceful if you need other things done. Just a pleasant experience. If the dentist ever scared you, this is the one to try it again with!! All of these excellent things take all of the hesitancy away from going to the dentist. Very knowledgeable and has all of the newest technologies here. I recently moved to the La Grange area and chose Dr. Bronke as my dentist. One of the main reasons was that she was conveniently located near my house. Unfortunately, I have already decided to go with another dentist. From the beginning, I felt that the people in that office were more interested in selling me an electric tooth brush or teeth whitening then they were in cleaning my teeth or fixing any issues. On top of that, I work for a very large company with generous benefits. Nonetheless, I have never had to pay more out of pocket for a routine dental visit than I did with Dr. Bronke. Worst of all, two of the fillings that they inserted less than a year ago have resulted in two separate root canals. Thanks Doc!!! Safe to say, I will never return to Dr. Bronke. In fact, I will go out of my way to tell people I know not to go there. I am considering a call to the BBB. read more

Today was my second time visiting Dr.Bronke for my dental work. I absolutely LOVE her! She is so nice and personable. The entire time I felt like I was talking to a friend. Her staff are all very nice. The rooms have tv's and they even offered my headphones and an iPod to listen to music while I get my fillings. I never even thought of that. I did use my own phone and ear buds but I was mostly listening to her convo with her assistant. They are just so lovely. And she really took the time with my fillings to make sure they felt comfortable when I left. I highly recommend this place to anyone. You will not be dissappointed! read more

Excellent experience from someone that doesn't like the dentist. Receptionist is very nice and the hygienists make you feel very comfortable. The actual dentist is very thorough and works quickly. If I had an opportunity to submit zero stars, I would be obligated to if I had any shred of truthfulness. This was easily, and heartbreakingly I might add, the most appalling experience I have ever had in a medical or dental office. The fact my Daughter was the victim makes this all the more aggravating. After an hour wait when arriving on time, I was greeted (barely) by a seemingly stressed staff member who walked us to the hygienist. Once she performed her work in such a slipshod manner, my Daughter was seen by the one and only Dr. Wind, who apparently has no problem identifying a problem, but certainly one when it comes to treating it. The staff annd the dentist just go through the motions, and provide no solutions. read more

I am very confident that Dr. Carolyn is the diamond in the rough among Chicagoland dentists. I can say that with a smile on my face, and teeth with a whole lot of dental work on them (prior to visiting Dr. Carolyn), in order to prove it. Having been to many dentists in the last two decades when all my work was getting done, I am a patient who truly has had an opportunity to compare Dr. Carolyn with her colleagues. How does she fare in comparison? She is truly the most gentle, thorough, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, hygienic (and the list goes on) dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Carolyn takes all the nerves out of going to the dentist and makes me able to say that I look forward to my visit with her--not something you typically hear someone say when going to the dentist. Everyone in the office is delightful--from all the lovely staff who pick up the phone and help schedule your appointment, as well as answer any and all questions you may have in a very patient, polite and cordial manner, to her good-natured dental assistants who are extremely proficient at assisting Dr. Carolyn and are very well-informed, in their own right. You will be so happy that you listened to all of her wonderful reviews and came in for a visit, just as I most certainly am! So, of course, a 5-star review is what I would give Dr. Carolyn--I would give her a 10, if I could! read more
