I originally came for a one-month stay but I enjoyed it so much I decided to stay for longer. The…read morehighlight was the customer service but overall I enjoyed all aspects! Food 3/5 Overall the food is good quality and very well made. The kitchen staff are friendly and always willing to help. There are only a few downsides, the first being that there is no menu for actually ordering your meal. Pro tip: If your food is cold, do NOT try to send it back. There are a variety of delicious milkshakes, the homemade strawberry flavor is the best, 10/10, I recommend! Entertainment 4/5 There is a full program of activities provided for your personal enjoyment. This includes yoga, art, bookclub, walks, and more. The highlight was a dance performance from the staff. Some of them did not appear to be classically trained but it was a free event so I can't complain. Amenities 3/5 There is a laundry room and unfortunately guests are expected to do their own laundry. The only problem being that the dryers do not exactly dry. Upon contacting customer services I was told that new machines would be installed the next day. This was four months ago, please see my review of Lowe's for more details. The bathrooms are good but only open at certain times and staff like to look before you flush. It's weird but they said it was all part of the inclusive all-expenses-paid experience. There are some complimentary meds available to guests. I'd rate the Phos-Nak 7/10 because it's good but not as good as other Phos-Nak I've had. Guest safety is a priority and there were two fire alarms during my stay. Unfortunately the first was my first night at 5am. As I stood outside in the snow, I wondered if it was some kind of weird hazing, "or" I thought, "maybe this is a regular occurrence designed to build character." It was neither, I was just unlucky. Customer Service 5/5 The customer service is excellent. The staff are all so dedicated and hardworking, and were so patient and understanding with my accent barrier *cough* heartburn. To enhance your stay they often organize 'spirit weeks'. I once participated in a 'staff meeting' during which most of us were wearing onesies and someone was dressed in Harry Potter pajama pants. Our attire, coupled with the fact that I had a milkshake in hand made the whole thing surreal. There is one particular staff member who stood out due to her tendency to eat off of others' plates. She once taught me how to insert my own NG tube, and pull it out! Just kidding, that stuff DEFINITELY never happened. Pro tip: If you want any privileges, I recommend poetry as a highly effective tool. In conclusion, I give Veritas 5 stars, 10/10, I highly recommend! It is a great place to recover, to grow, to learn about yourself, and practice stand up comedy routines. In all seriousness, this place helped me make progress that I didn't think I could. Thank you Veritas!

Told me to "COME BACK WHEN I AM BETTER"…read more I had high hopes, but was let down in all the ways. - They don't know what lactose intolerant means. They gave me dairy multiple times, so I had to skip eating. Bc of that I was then given a small shake - I asked to address this many times but was dismissed - everyone was given the same bland food, same portion sizes, etc - showers are shared by men and women. Men were the attendants during my short time there - One of my medications is $13k/month. It HAS to be kept refrigerated. This is clearly marked all over. I had to raise hell to get them to put it in the fridge before it went bad - meds were changed without discussing with me or my prescribing doctor(s). this is also written on my med bottles too - meds were denied when needed ex I HAVE to have sucraid and hyoscyamine anytime I eat or I end up in the ER - They blew out all my veins on my arrival day trying to get blood work. Demanded they try again the very next day, but everyone knows veins need time to heal after being blown. Talk about painful and pointless - their daily schedule says - as able - but they strongly discourage getting rest in your room. It is not approved. - activities they demanded participation in = --- 'yoga' which consisted of someone in a cold harsh monotone telling to do stretches. Bright harsh lighting, no soothing music or any music at all. As a yoga teacher, no this is not it. --- group therapy, was a joke. The therapist(s) treated everyone like children and said the most basic things. No one ever shared or was able to open up for this reason

I feel trusted and trusting in his space and can allow my deepest, truest voice to be heard in his presence. There's no judgement from him, only kindness that strives to stroll through some painful past experiences. Steven is a most trusting, helpful, and skilled healer (and an excellent writer too!) He is persistent yet mindful of boundaries. He will nudge you over that small roadblock of your mind and help you to realize how easy (or difficult) it was to overcome. Then you will learn how glad you are to have gone through it. The world seems like a different place after a session with Steven. There should be a sign in Steven's office - Disclaimer: Clarity and mindfulness may follow. Self-understanding, rejuvenation, growth, tranquility, confidence, and mental relief all come to mind. Steven will put years of experience, research, reading, writing, singing, and learning into the path of your winding river. Aptly named: Flow Healing Arts.

Steven is the bomb diggity. Plain and simple…read more I went to Steven, so I thought, because my back was hurting, and no conventional therapies were working for me. I also thought it could be some kind of emotional issue as well, I was desperate and tired of being hunched over like an old lady. What I got was so much more. Not only did my back pain go away, but I got major transformation to boot. My relationships have improved. I started dating (after being single for 2 years), and I'm feeling more present and "in-my-body" than I ever have before in my life. I think every person who wants real transformation should go see this guy. He's not only a genius at what he does, but he really walks the talk. He IS a really grounded, present, and open hearted guy. You just feel calm in his presence. It's a rare find to find a healer who seems to have some of their own stuff worked out, it gives you a lot of faith in what they're doing with you! Anyway, he's awesome. GO. Just...go.
