Therefore, I am not keen to praise doctors. However, PAMF has a wonderful, smart, caring family doctor that I am compelled to recommend. Her name is Doctor Maggie Williams. Dr Williams is smart, dedicated, experienced, and caring. I have had some major medical issues which Dr. Williams expertly diagnosed and has been helping me resolve. My daughter has a medical issue that her pediatrician and gynecologist misdiagnosed but Dr Williams was quick to diagnose correctly. Dr Williams is conservative and logical in her approach to treatment. She listens and asks intelligent questions. She will order tests when appropriate and will refer patients to specialists both in and outside of PAMF. She will take the time to answer your questions and concerns. She really cares. Like I said, I am very skeptical of the medical profession but if you are looking for an excellent family doctor, then check out Dr. Williams. Speaking for myself, after 2-3 years, the arrival wait time has improved and the wait time once you are placed in an exam room has improved. There have been times when I sensed that the doctor might be a bit rushed but I never left feeling that I was not heard or treated appropriately. My doctor - Dr. Delgado - gives me the impression that she cares about her patients. I share one person's comments about MyChart in that it is mostly a one-sided tool. When information is felt to be incorrect or bothersome, there is no automatic way for patients to resolve that without making phone calls that noone has time for or confronting the doctor or staff which can be awkward or uncomfortable. This can be bad if you need an answer right away. I have several doctors and staff taking care of me and in spite of the challenge they must face in keeping current with care from each other, test results tell me they are doing a good job. Therefore: I went for my make-up FAA physical on Friday, and was treated (almost) like royalty! The staff was ready for me (although I had again shown up early). Everything was done smoothly and efficiently. I was also made to feel like a person, not some cog in a machine. The staff person behind the desk treated me almost like an old friend; the nurse was pleasant and professional, as was the lab technician. ...and Dr. Guiteras was able to make me laugh at the end of a long week! All in all, a MUCH more pleasant visit to the doctor than I had ever expected. Thanks to Dr. Guiteras and his staff!

However,I did know that he was a respected person and physician. Like others seeking a family physician, I sought information from many of my new collegues and and friends. Everyone recommended him! I have never encountered such a dedicated person and Practice. He or his partner are always available, even for over night and very early AM crises.
