My dearest, only child (two years old) attends this day care. When I drop her off in the morning…read moreit feels great not to worry about whether or not she is receiving the best in care. My husband and I are new to the area and prior to us relocating, I spent weeks searching for a day care that would provide proper care in a caring, hygienic and learning-focused environment. I drove about two hours round trip to visit four day care facilities in the area and called numerous more inquiring. Just asking around, three people in the area, two from the local school district, and another, an educator in the area, mentioned Jumpstart Academy and how this facility was the best in the area. When I went to Jumpstart, I was greeted by Caitlin and Mary at the front desk who were extremely informative and professional. Although I was ready to sign up immediately, there was a waitlist!! I was devastated! I even sent my husband to visit and see if they had a new accommodation but to no avail! Other day care facilities I visited looked dirty and had old equipment. The classrooms were massive with tons of kids running amuck and having seemingly no organization. One facility smelled like pure urine as you entered the foyer! I left a down payment with a chain school in the area where there had been a waitlist that opened up. I wasn't entirely happy, but it was better than most. I made a last ditch effort and called and spoke with Suzanne before I took the plunge and filled out the paperwork for the other school. Suzanne, the owner, is exceedingly sweet and no doubt about it, she cares about not only her employees, but the children as well. Her manner put me at ease immediately. She was extremely accommodating and told me to come in because she would have availability for my dear daughter. My sweetheart has been with Jumpstart for 3 months. She is always happy to go "to school" in the morning. We have the option of viewing her classroom in real-time online during the day. We also have the option of paying for a lunch each day with yummy options each week such as pizza, french toast with sausage and grilled cheese! The teachers Julie, Sam and Val have treated my dear so well and they are always so willing to tell me about how my daughter's day went. I am eternally grateful to have "stumbled" on this facility online because I would have NEVER come across it otherwise because it is well hidden gem just beyond the railroad tracks! To sum up this review, I highly recommend Jumpstart Academy for the discerning, obsessive, highly-strung parent, like myself. This has been one of the best decisions we have made since we moved to the area!

First Review!! Yay! We've been a part of the JumpStart family since 2012. They have one of the…read morenicest facilities that my husband and I have ever seen. We go a little out of our way to drop our kids off there, because there's just no other place like it near us. The staff is friendly and courteous. The building is very clean and has a great layout: classrooms for all ages, a multi-purpose room for play, and a computer room. They even have a couple different outside play areas. The owner, Suzanne, really makes you feel like family and she has established an amazing educational environment. The staff even helps toddlers with potty-training, which is invaluable. As for curriculum, they operate off of themes for different weeks and have related activities for the kids (even the babies) to do. I've received some of the most precious works of art from my boys because of the hard work and dedication of the staff. We just can't say enough about this place. First class, all of the way!!!

We absolutely love the Kiddie Academy in Marlton! What truly sets it apart from every other daycare…read morewe considered is the Director, Sarah Young. She leads with such compassion and kindness, and it's clear she's built a team that shares her values. As a new parent, I was so nervous about leaving my son in the infant room, but the warmth and professionalism of Sarah and the teachers instantly put me at ease. I was so reassured that I was able to leave after just 30 minutes of observing, which speaks volumes. Sarah's open-door policy and the academy's focus on putting the best interests of both parents and children first have earned our complete trust. The attention to detail and personalized care are incredible. From frequent diaper changes to enriching activities, it's evident that the teachers provide exceptional care. Transitions into new classrooms are also done with remarkable smoothness. We've been happily traveling 25 minutes each way for four months now because we're confident the care our son receives is far better than we could provide at home. For any parent searching for a daycare, my strongest recommendation is to evaluate the Director. They are the underpinning of the entire center--the person you'll communicate with the most and the one who shapes its culture. A Director with solid leadership, clear and fast communication, and genuine kindness makes all the difference. Sarah embodies these traits and more. It was clear from our first meeting that she is incredibly experienced and an equally amazing parent. We can't say enough great things about this center!

This reasonably priced day care offers so many benefits for our child's needs. The curriculum far surpasses that of a previous daycare we attended with the subject matter being presented and taught to our daughter. She is always happy when we drop her off with a smile from ear to ear. She lights up when she sees the Owners and the Staff. The Owners,Steve and Karyn, are always there to greet us and engage in conversation. They are extremely pleasant and personable to everyone and truly have a love for their business and the kids. The infant room staff is well versed in all aspects of child care and constantly keep us informed on the day to day improvements. There is a mobile app that shows daily pictures and reports of our daughter that truly helps when we are having a "missing our daughter" moment :). The facility has an open floor plan with the concept of interaction and attention. Children do not come here to be laid down and forgotten. They are constantly engaged with activities and other children to acclimate them to life and to develop the social skills kids require. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Marlton.

Before committing to CHM in 2023, we visited several preschools in the area. I was honestly not…read moresatisfied with any of the schools I toured, until I visited CHM. Immediately I knew this was a special place for my son. And our experience here with school and summer camp have far surpassed what we had hoped for. Their school motto of "grow confidently"- really illustrates the transformation my son went through from a 2.5 year old toddler to a 5 year old boy who is confident and loves to learn now. The teachers are outstanding- they really love kids and love teaching kids to embrace and enjoy learning. The administrative staff ( Ms. Kerri & Ms. Janine) are amazing and make you feel at ease and that we were part of their family . We will forever love and be a huge advocate for this school !!

There were multiple incidents of bullying and/or kids just misbehaving and the school not handling those situations properly. I had no false hope that every kid would act like an angel 100% of the time and believe I was realistic in hoping that if and when a child would not behave well, the teachers would know how to handle it- boy, was I wrong! My daughter was scratched, pushed, hit, had her leg stood on by a boy (to which the teacher just told the other kid not to do it bc my daughter didn't like it.... Because so many people would) The straw that broke the camels back was: my husband arrived to pick up my daughter and noticed a bump/bruise on her head. He asked the 3 teachers at the door what happened. They all said they didn't know. Our daughter told us that a boy (who had done other things to her in the past and sounded to be an overall behavioral issue), hit her in the head with a stick on the playground. I asked if a teacher saw. She said no. She said she told a teacher and that teacher put the kid in timeout. Ok, fine. BUT, she happened to be one of the teachers at the door that said she didn't know what happened to my daughter.... In all the time my daughter went yo the school, we felt they operated in the dark. We never received an email about any incidents and when we brought it to her teachers attention, he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never did. After this last incident, they also said they were going to investigate and interview the teachers and get back to me with their findings. They never did. It became very obvious to me that this school was all about collecting $$, but not providing even the basic service of safety, not to mention an education. I am not an unreasonable individual, and if they had just communicated when things happened and told me how they remedied it, I would have been ok. Send your child elsewhere..... there are plenty of good schools out there. This is not one of them.

We love HLC!!! I looked into many different daycares in the Collingswood/ Oaklyn/ Cherry Hill, NJ…read morearea. We went with HLC because they had the best hours and the most reasonable price (and a very convenient location on my commute to work); the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; the rooms looked clean but inviting; the curriculums encouraged early learning; and they had good policies in place to prevent the spread of illnesses. I was a little sad they didn't offer part time hours, but what they charge per week was less than what another location charged for 3 days of part time care. But, a warning to new parents, they had a pretty long waiting list. When I pre-registered (while still pregnant with my daughter), the wait to get in was 9 months! But within 2 months they were able to work their schedules enough to get my daughter in when I had to go back to work. My daughter started when she was 3 months old (now 9 months old) in the infant ("duck") room. She clearly has so much fun there and has learned many new skills from their excellent staff. It is very clear that the people who work there really care about the children and what they do. The people who work the front desk are sooooo nice and greet every parent and child by name (impressive for such a large establishment!). I would recommend HLC to anyone! I have no doubt that my daughter will be attendinfg HLC until she goes to 1st grade (since HLC offers a full time kindergarten too!) as well as any of her future siblings. It is such a relief for a working mom knowing that your child is well-cared for throughout the day. It was hard enough to go back to work, but HLC made the transition as easy as possible!
