    Have for the reason of going to Miami is to go to this restaurant and then go in there over 20 years and every time it's been immaculate the vibe the atmosphere is always perfect and the service is always on point. The food is always cooked perfectly. Staff is very nice and very attentive is nothing. I can say bad about this restaurant at all other than it's not one in Scottsdale!     We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Super cute little spot in a shopping plaza! I got a lychee martini (highly recommend) and the Linguine Vongole with white sauce. The portion was generous and there were plenty of clams. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for Italian!

    Carpaccio's has a wide selection of spirits and wines and beers. Large selection of Foods, Salads and Soups. The service is Outstanding and the Atmosphere is so very inviting. I always return to Carpaccio's.

    On the whole, the place was meh. The place has a great buzz about it as it seems to be popular with the old-school Bal Harbor crowd. The place seems very dated. We went for lunch and it was slammed. Our server was great and took good care of us. The waiter and bussers were attentive in filling water and clearing plates, etc. We never felt ignored or neglected. The meh part was the food. Everything we got was good, but wow, everything was expensive. Very expensive for middle-of-the-road Italian food. My margherita pizza was almost $30. The pasta dishes were $30+. I don't see what the big deal is to pay so much for average food.

    Late night meal. Packed house. Classy vibes. Felt like a mix of locals and tourists. Love the menu - Italian, seafood, long wine list with choices at every price point. As busy as it was, seated right away. Ordered right away. Served right away too. They split a seafood platter for us with lobster, linguini, clams, shrimp and mussels covered just right in a vodka sauce. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

    Very subpar food for such a bustling business. I've been to the Bal Harbor shops many times and always see this place packed so I had to try it, but the food was a total disappointment! The most bland Spaghetti Bolognese I've ever had, which hardly contained any beef in the sauce. The tiramisu was also very basic and not the mind blowing tiramisu I read about in other reviews. Service was friendly and professional. We were seated next to a table of screaming young girls celebrating a birthday, which gave me a huge headache and totally detracted from the experience. You would think a restaurant like this in one of the fanciest malls could renovate their bathroom so it doesn't look like a hobbit's house, which ironically you have to trek up steep steps to get to. They do not take reservations, which is a no-no in my book. Overall, no value for the money and I would skip this place.

    On a Wednesday around noon I sat at the bar alone. I was immediately greeted by a host when I arrived and the bartender. The bartender was nice and briefly took my order. The salad came out 5 minutes later and was pretty good. I had a small desire for more dressing, but didn't act on it. The bread is good and warm, but I would expect better butter. I will likely return.

    Saturday night out in Miami and we stopped for dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious, I enjoyed the lobster and oyster pasta in a rose sauce. We ordered the calamari and fried Mozzarella for an appetizer, both were delicious . There's a full bar available and great selection of wine. The lychee martini was amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive.

    Awesome restaurant. Food was great. Nice ambience. Attentive waitstaff. The carpaccio and fantasia plates were both awesome.

    I find the Food to be overrated. The staff is very friendly with a great level of service. The patio is also wonderful.

    Bad service, bar tenders don't really care to serve you well. Had an espresso martini, was the worst one I've had. 20$ for that.

    Mediocre to bad food. I don't get why it's always busy. So many other great places to eat in miami don't know why anyone would return here.

That said, we weren't expecting to stumble upon a restaurant that was truly ELITE. Walking in, we were greeted by the owner, Gilbert. He promptly sat us and made us feel welcome. Our server, Juan Francisco, laid out the ins and outs of the menu. He was very professional, attentive and kind. He repeated things whenever we asked and made sure to provide the best experience that he could. I had even spilled some of my drink and the staff rallied around me to fix it and make sure our experience was still top class. After a quick gulp of my espresso martini, which was an easy top 5 espresso martini, I decided to ask the owner what the staples of the restaurant were. Good Old Gil made it easy, he was calmly seating people whilst checking on guests with the regularity and charm that you would come to expect of a family member hosting a great party. You could tell that he enjoyed what he did. He quickly laid out what the crowd favorites were, made some jokes and returned to the front of house. Determined to be like OJ, we took a stab at the crowd favorites. We ordered Lobster Salad, Ravioli Di Zucca and Pollo Alla Champagne. Starting with the Lobster Salad: This dish slapped me in the mouth. That's how good it was. She was like Adebayo on defense, keeping me away from the Ravioli. I ordered the Pollo Alla Champagne: absolutely sublime. Creamy, decadent but elegant and airy. It packed a punch in flavor. Texture was on point and the sundried tomatoes took the dish the distance. I had to take the chicken home because I had gotten full off of wicking the sauce up with bread. But absolutely amazing. I'm actually finishing it while I type this up. Again, I cannot compliment the service enough. The owner checked up on us a couple more times. Not too much But enough that it reminded you of what a family owned restaurant was before social media and phones took over. There were a couple other servers that checked up on us even though we weren't "theirs". The server was even kind enough to remind me that there was a gratuity included in the final bill. But when the service is great on multiple fronts you tip. I've worked in this industry and the norm for me is 20% for great service. The gratuity was 18% and I was going to make sure they got the 20%. Not much, I know, but enough to give the notion of an excellent experience. You know, personally I don't like Miami. For a metropolis, it's awfully dark at night. And the cost of food at most restaurants is crazy. Don't even get me started on the people. I am not a fan of - I digress. South Florida is just not for me and I cannot wait to never come to it again. That said, I may go out of my way to come back to Osteria Del Teatro because that's how thoroughly impressed we were. My fiance and I have been blessed to eat all over the place. We just moved back to Florida after living in Philadelphia for the last two years. We were blessed to eat at some amazing places up north. Philly is a fat kid's heaven, it's full of incredible places. Places we thought were going to be hard to beat before we stumbled upon the Michael Jordan of the restaurant scene. Osteria is top tier. It's one of the best, if not the best, dining experience we have ever shared. The food was amazing, the staff were excellent and the drinks were killer. To top it off, the price of everything was competitive. We walked out blown away. Osteria Del Teatro deserves to reign as the best Italian restaurant in the state for as long as they can remain consistent. It's giving ELITE. In service, food and drink it is unrivaled. Paula our server was a really lady , Yesenia the lady that assisted Paula needs better manners and costumer service, she doesn't know about hospitality.
