Date of visit: February 16, 2026…read more The visit did not start out well; I am new to Las Vegas and to being fingerprinted so when I went in and spoke to the woman at the counter, she seemed annoyed that I did not know the secret words to get her to do the right things. She was not wearing a name tag so I unfortunately can not provide any details about her identity. I needed to do this before I could head to the office for my first day of work, so that they were open at 8 a.m. and easy to get to were big bonuses. After we got that unpleasantness out of the way, the rest of the experience was quick and painless. I filled out a basic form and then she did the rest. I was worried that it would be old school ink pads and whatnot but it was actually all electronic and I just needed to apply some location to my hands and we were off and running. Payment was quick and easy as well!

They were also one of the only places open past work hours, so that was a huge plus. The owner (Kevin, I believe) was very friendly and we had a great chat while I was there. It was $10 and he got it done super quickly! I would definitely recommend if you're looking to support a family-owned business!

I'm a beginner golfer, and I had a GREAT lesson with Cameron Meeks!…read more I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Eric Meeks School of Golf. I tried watching some YouTube videos, and I'm sure there is some good advice out there, somewhere, but I figured having someone explain the basics to me then watch me and give advice on what I should change, was worth the investment. Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly - patient.

I just had a lesson from Shane Madden and I'm a very happy customer!…read more A little backstory... I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! Can't wait to take more lessons from him soon and start kicking ass at golf!

I discovered these guys on a podcast when I was in college, around 2007. I had been away at school…read morefor a couple years by then and I had only made a couple friends. I spent most of my time in class, studying, and playing video games. I wanted to figure out how to get more out of life than what I had. I wanted to know how to meet people and make friends. I wanted to have a healthier, happier self-image. I wanted to feel confident and have the courage to throw myself into the deep end of life. Just by listening to the podcast, I managed to turn my college experience around. I made a number of solid friends, was invited to some great parties, crashed some great parties, and went on some stellar adventures with fun people. But as I neared graduation I felt like I had reached a plateau. I felt like I had pushed myself as far as I could on my own and my potential was still far beyond my reach. So, as soon as I moved out to San Diego for work, I signed up for a bootcamp at the Art of Charm because I'm a firm believer that a quality coach can always push me farther than I can push myself because I am limited by my own perspective and experience. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions I made. It was inspiring to be around like-minded humans who wanted to improve their lives, to be better humans overall, and to push each other outside of our comfort zones. And boy, did we get pushed. That week I spent in LA forever altered the course of my life. There was so much knowledge, instruction, and application of principles packed into one week that I kept returning on weekends to sit through class and help out wherever I could. It was worth every penny and more. I recommend the podcast and the bootcamp to everyone who expresses an interest in developing their confidence and social skills. The subsequent decade was an amazing rollercoaster ride filled with high highs and low lows. I made some amazing friends across the globe, fell into some magical romances with wonderful humans, switched careers multiple times, discovered my love for solo-backpacking, learned to love myself, went on some adventures rivaling anything you've seen on the big screen, and learned countless valuable life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What a ride it's been. In closing, I attribute most, if not all of the success, confidence, and life fulfillment I have to The Art of Charm. If you want to get the most out of life, I can't recommend the bootcamp strongly enough.

I attended a couple of their trainings and became close with a couple of the employees at that time…read more(been a few years). Here's the breakdown: 1. Yes, the tactics seem manipulative, as they are, but it's not about pledging allegiance or joining a cult. I believe the trainers genuinely want people to grow in leadership. Do they keep you up late? Yes, because you'll more easily access your emotions the next day. Are the trainers a bit offstandish? Yes, because they want you to form bonds with your team. Do they keep things "secret" and not provide an agenda, etc? Yes, but it's to keep you on your toes. Everything seemed to have a reason behind it. 2. It's less about leadership and is more about stretching you as a person. The "Leadership" they teach is basic and common knowledge. They just put you in processes to "practice" and to take action and not sit back. 3. The company is a MESS. Their entire history is full of people stealing money from the company, inter-office affairs, people fighting, etc. The leadership DOES NOT practice what they teach in the trainings. It's not a good company culture and struggles financially A LOT! My friends always seemed torn about whether to go or stay at the company. 4. Not everyone needs it or will benefit from this training. From what I saw in my classes, it was really beneficial for certain types of people, especially ones who have never spoken up and stood up for themselves and their beliefs. 5. The trainers are not officially trained as coaches, nor do they even have their own business/leadership success. Some do, some don't. They're trained by other trainers at the company, not coaching professionals. What they are is woefully underprepared to handle any sort of mental health crisis or trauma experiences that may come up. I remember in one of my classes, a guy mentioned that he had been "locked in a room as a child." No one knew how to handle that. 6. This training can trigger unresolved issues, trauma, or open up old wounds. For some, that might be okay, but no one in the room is ready or trained to handle it. They do also set up a very dark room for a hugging process that is just weird - eyes closed, hands by your sides, and you have no idea who's coming up to hug you? and you can't talk? No thanks. If anyone has been a victim of SA, this isn't the place for them AT ALL. 6. Also, I don't think the trainers even are CPR certified, much less even first aid, and some of the training is quite physically demanding. 7. Most people only take the first training and never come back. If the trainings are that amazing, why do most people not finish all the other courses? I hope all this info helps.

Rapport Leadership is not a leadership class company, its a cult. I took their leadership…read morebreakthrough one course and I can tell you they use extremely manipulative tactics to break you down. For example the course I took was a 3 day course, each of the first two day's classes ended between 12:00 midnight and 1:00 AM. Classes started at 8:00 AM the next morning, and there was quite a bit of reading and "homework" to do in-between. So that's a 16-17 hour day plus time to do homework. Sleep deprivation is just one of the ways that they break you down. Another way that they manipulate is after every chapter in the guide book we used we would have to write a 1 page paper (exactly one page, no margins, no space left on the last line, they're super militant about everything). The paper had to be about what we got out of the last chapter. The problem with this was that the paper that we wrote was written in triplicate. One for us, one for the instructor who reminded us before we wrote each paper that the papers would be read in detail and graded (harshly I might add), and the last was immediately placed in a sealed envelope and sent to the person who sent us here. For most people that person is their boss. So they invented a way to guarantee positive feedback get sent to the person who is paying for everything. Trust me you wouldn't dare write anything negative on your paper for fear of being singled out and ridiculed by the instructors. Speaking of which, there was plenty of singling people out, yelling, creepy "hug each other in the complete darkness", and "share super personal details about your life" sessions. I'll end this review with a question. How does memorizing the song America the Beautiful and shouting it at the top of your lungs, alone, in front of a large crowd of people, help you become a better leader? If you think that's the pathway to exceptional leadership then this course is for you. However, if you're a sane, rational person, then you should avoid this company like the plague that it is.
