I attended this school a few months back and graduated..Staff is very friendly, they go above and beyond to get you prepared in order to get you to the next level. If you do what you need to do you should have no Issues..the people leaving bad reviews and talking down on the school are the same people that didn't take their barbering career serious, you gotta remember that at the end of the day it's on you to wanna learn. Absolute best Barber school in town. It's new and improved filled with instructors or Barber gods as I like to call them who will put you on game! I am a Cosmo cross over so I only had to do 400 hours. I already know how to cut hair very well so I really didn't learn much about hair cutting (not trying to discredit them AT ALL I'm just really really good) but what I did learn was that the way I maneuver around the chair people should know that I am a professional and I learned that from them. I learn the details of Barbering, the science, the history, and of course how to become a monster with a straight razor!!! I went to Masterpiece Barber College based off of all my suite mates who attended and said wonderful things about the school. I was a Cosmetologist trying to break in to the barber world. So the course I needed was the 400hr. My experience was a challenging one because I went in thinking this was going to be easy and then failed the written portion of the test. Mr. Allen allowed me to come back and then I failed again, But this time it was the cut. By this time I was completely determined to pass and Grateful that he would allow me to come back. Because every time someone fails they are preventing someone new from starting their course. My recommendation: Be VERY precise about how you want the end result to look. And check them along the way to be sure you're achieving the results you requested. Great service! Bought my son here, found them on instagram. Students are well trained. I wasn't sure what I wanted so the student showed me some pictures and a few minutes later my son had it. I went in the am, so I literally had no wait! It was my son's first time and the student was very patient with him, he let my son feel the Clippers so he wouldn't be scared but ultimately my 4 year old said it tickled. Glad he enjoyed it. I tried not to give any stars, but the app makes me give at least 1. This barber college is terrible. The simple fade/trim I needed took about an entire hour to do, because the instructor had to come out and show the student how to properly do it. As if it was really hard to begin with??? He cut waayy too low from what I asked for. The instructor in general seemed like he had an attitude, and I was not pleased at all! To add the cherry on top, I got no sort of apology for the difficulty they had in the process. $10 cuts? More like $5, cause that's what they're worth. Highly DO NOT recommend. read more

Special thanks to Yulian ( I hope I got your name right) for fixing my " quarantine haircut".. I am a Black female with naturally curly hair. I think the hardest thing for a barber to do, is fix what someone else did. Not only did he fix my cut, but he also trimmed my ends and gave me designs. He has an experienced touch when cutting hair and also checked many times that the cut was to my liking throughout the process. I was surprised when he pulled out a spray bottle mix of conditioner/ h20 and oil sheen when done!! I'm not sure where he learned this from, but thumbs up !! I'll be back!!
