I ultimately agreed, but I wish this discussion had taken place during the consultation so I could have considered the treatment and financial implications beforehand. The most concerning part of my experience occurred during my crown placement appointment on June 9. When I respectfully shared this feedback and mentioned that I had already discussed a payment plan for the additional crown with the office manager, Dr. Loeb abruptly left the room and stated that she would not cement my crowns unless payment was made in full. As a patient in the middle of treatment, with three prepared teeth awaiting final restoration, I felt scared, vulnerable, and distressed. I understand that dental practices have payment policies, but I did not expect my concerns to be met in this manner, especially after I had already been working with the office on a payment arrangement. I appreciate Dr. Roman, the office manager, and the practice owner for stepping in, resolving the situation, and allowing my treatment to be completed. However, I believe patients deserve clear communication, professionalism, and respect, especially when they are in such a vulnerable position.

Dr. Woo actually cares for his patients need's and not their pockets. (Unlike most dentists) I had such a wonderful experience while getting braces as an adult. First let me say the price was excellent and the great service makes you look forward to your next appointment. After my braces were removed, I admit I neglected to wear my retainers and also did not return for a follow up for about 7 months until I was due for a cleaning. At this point Dr. Woo made me realize that not wearing the retainers caused my teeth to start to shift to the original positions. Then a miracle happened: Dr. Woo proceeded to promise me that he will fix the issue by doing the entire process again. This meant putting on braces again but this time and for the next year the Dr. did not charge me 1 cent for the job, as he explained he was not satisfied with the outcome and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results.
