They want tens of thousands of dollars we've always had problems with our teeth it's genetic and during the pandemic we both got pretty depressed. We don't like looking in the mirror so much unlike some people we know. Went to another dentist and ended up taking out insurance for the to the tune of about $65 a month. Then that Dentist tried to keep our $70 refund! Are you effing kidding me us? We knew immediately when the new patient coordinator said she would check to see if they took our insurance that they did not! Why can't they just do it as a courtesy considering we're paying out-of-pocket and you're gonna make us do all that paperwork? We just got through fighting for our rights to get certain entitlements that we have been on forever and if it had not been for Legal Services Of Hudson Valley we would be homeless! We're very tired of fighting with anyone or arguing with anyone for no reason at all. So we haven't been yet and if anybody has any information to tell us, please do. We want to be actually put to sleep because our teeth are in such registered shape and we blame ourselves and the fact that the pandemic shut down everything for over two years. We used to go to yoga right down the street three times a week and now we don't do anything but lie around in pain. We truly don't understand and maybe after we talk to the doctor, she or he will make them put in for the insurance that we've been paying for since last April on a regular monthly basis we didn't realize that the last Dentist we saw had his secret plan in place to shunt us off to a Sedation Dentist, which we had never even heard of! We would never have taken out that insurance had we known of his secret plan and no, we're not gonna tell you his name. You guess. Look at our ratings and you'll be able to figure out who it is, but we don't want to start a war. Dentist are pretty much nuts in our opinion. They're nuttier than any other fields that we can think of that's because everyone scared to go to the dentist because it hurts so much. We told that Dentist that pond us off to a Sedation Dentist this information immediately. Apparently that was enough to offend him, or whatever happened in his mind, we're not sure, but it doesn't seem right.

We were referred to one dentist and what he wanted to do made no sense. We found Dr. Sitki Dogus who is not is our area. We made an appointment and went for the consultation. On arrival the office is very clean. We were greeted by the Doctor's receptionist who by the way is lovely. The doctor saw my husband. Then the three of us sat down and spoke about the treatment plan. Dr. Dogus was pleased that I asked a lot of questions and was happy to answer any of my concerns. Dr. Simon takes time to explain procedures thoroughly and answer any questions. Staff are helpful and friendly. I have had several dental problems over the years and whenever I call I am able to get an appointment quickly-usually within 24 hours if necessary. Dr. Simon gives his patients options for more complex treatments that are needed and never pushes unnecessary treatment or overly-expensive procedures. My teeth are VERY sensitive and Dr. Simon is always careful to make accommodations to ensure I am pain free for all procedures. I went into…read morehis office after avoiding the dentist for years over anxieties of a former disastrous dentist who I trusted for over a decade only to find out she wreaked havoc all those years in the mouths of my entire family. I literally cried as he called me into the chair, as i was explaining that I'm not an awful human with terrible dental hygiene, but that I have a wild fear of the dentist. We are talking my teeth have kept me up at night, haunted, that I was not seeing someone to address the issues I assumed were piling up in there. Dr. Fasman was as empathetic as possible. He relieved my fears with patience and promised we could tackle anything that could be wrong and he was absolutely right. He grabbed me a bunch of tissues in case my sobbing continued in the chair as he got started. He checked in with me many times along the way as he gave me a cleaning and worked on a filling. I can't tell you how amazing I felt tackling this fear, and with his help and understanding, it left me feeling relieved and incredibly happy with my choice of dentist. He talked me through everything he was doing, peppering in fun conversations. He is professional, personable, and great at what he does. I will be going back for my future cleanings and dental work, and will be referring him to anyone in the area and/or who will be willing to travel to him.
