I consulted with Dr. Malka Loeb on May 5, 2026, regarding two front crowns. During my treatment appointment on May 19, an additional third crown was recommended while I was already in the dental chair preparing for the procedure. I ultimately agreed, but I wish this discussion had taken place during the consultation so I could have considered the treatment and financial implications beforehand. The most concerning part of my experience occurred during my crown placement appointment on June 9. When I respectfully shared this feedback and mentioned that I had already discussed a payment plan for the additional crown with the office manager, Dr. Loeb abruptly left the room and stated that she would not cement my crowns unless payment was made in full. As a patient in the middle of treatment, with three prepared teeth awaiting final restoration, I felt scared, vulnerable, and distressed. I understand that dental practices have payment policies, but I did not expect my concerns to be met in this manner, especially after I had already been working with the office on a payment arrangement. I appreciate Dr. Roman, the office manager, and the practice owner for stepping in, resolving the situation, and allowing my treatment to be completed. Do not come here. I was looking for a new local dentist. They were able to fit me in, so I stopped in. They said they take insurance and they were listed on providers that my insurance company covers. WP Dental told me I had to pay for all visits upfront in cash before I could be seen and then they would contact my insurance company. I have never experienced this before and this is very illegal. I went in for a follow up because I had jaw pain. I waited over an hour to be seen and I ended up walking out. I do not recommend this place due to price gauging and lack of professionalism. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with my husband recent visit to this dental office. We scheduled what was clearly a routine yearly teeth cleaning, which is fully covered under our dental insurance when performed by an in-network provider. We both have been treated at this office before and intentionally returned because they advertise participation with our insurance plan. During this visit, he was never informed verbally or in writing that the dental hygienist performing his deep cleaning would be billed under a different dentist who is OUT OF NETWORK. This information was not disclosed prior to treatment, nor was he given the opportunity to decline or make an informed decision. Only after the appointment did he discover that the services were billed under an out-of-network dentist, resulting in unexpected charges for what should have been covered care. At no point did anyone explain this arrangement, obtain his consent, or provide cost transparency before proceeding. This practice feels deceptive and unethical. Patients should not be expected to navigate hidden provider assignments or surprise billing within the same office especially when they explicitly choose an in-network practice to avoid these exact situations. Trust and transparency are essential in healthcare. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a serious problem in informing the patient. This practice is going downhill. The hygienist, Shane, is always wonderful, but everything else was a mess. My regular checkup took over 90 minutes (should be 45 tops), and I spent extensive amounts of time just sitting in the dental chair waiting for someone to come do theIr job. No heads up from anyone about the delays. you have to pay for parking in this area and most spots are 1-hour max, so I'm incredibly lucky I didn't get a ticket. The dentist who eventually showed up at the end wasn't Dr. Roman ("my" dentist) but someone else. Can't say who because she never introduced herself. She clicked around my mouth for under 8 seconds and said everything looks great. Didn't look at a single x-ray that was taken, and the hygienist was already gone so she didn't talk to him about his concerns at all. Dr. Roman is the GOAT. He's the only doctor I trust. I grew up without fluoride in my drinking water - and my 20s were a dental disaster, with many fillings and multiple root canals and caps, many of which came out or cracked up by the time I reached 60. In the past 10 - 12 years that I have been going to Dr. Roman, he has done an implant, a bridge, many replaced caps. He is the only doctor I trust to do the work that is needed, and who refuses to do unnecessary procedures (like the time I demanded a root canal for a painful molar - and he said it was just an inflamed nerve, wait a couple of weeks - he was right!). He can also come up with multiple solutions for a problem - which is great for people like me with poor dental coverage and a limited budget. I highly recommend Dr. Roman! read more

Front office is deceivingly small and unimpressive but the inside is very nice and modern appearing. Went in today for a consultation after having an issue with a close by office. (I think it was the manager that I spoke to...) when I called to make an appointment I explained what happened at the other dentist's office and she was completely receptive and understanding. She booked me right away and even went out of her way to locate my insurance info. Very thankful for that! The dentist I met with was very kind and wanted to ensure I had appropriAte coverage for the work I need. Dr. Yakov Fuzaylov and Dr. Roman Shamuelov are the most wonderful dentists anywhere. I love these guys. I went to them originally because I heard they were very reasonable - they are. But more importantly they are extremely knowledgeable and very caring dentists. They are always concerned about me and my comfort. They are also very honest. I sent my son to them and Dr. Roman Shamuelov told my son that he didn't have any reason to use a bite guard to prevent tooth grinding when he was sleeping. Dr. Shamuelov said there was no evidence of tooth grinding. My son's former dentist wanted $350 every 9 months for a tooth guard that wasn't needed. I am grateful to have found them. read more

The receptionists always send reminders for your appointments and scheduling is always super easy. A follow-up to my first review my name is Christopher Brown I recently visited White Plains dental care again unbeknownst to me that I was coming to be lectured about a review I left before saying that establishment was more of a boutique I stood by my statement when I realize that boutique work is what I needed I asked them to put it in to my insurance to see if they would approve my implant surgery instead they called me up there to say that the dentist would like to examine me again before he puts it in ,,,, there was no examination he just wanted to lecture me on why did I called his establishment a boutique now mind you I left my job to go up there to hear this when he could've told me this on the phone that he did not want to do business with me I should have known better yes,, but I wouldn't figure that a establishment wouldn't ask the patient to come back up there under the pretense of doing something other than what they said they were going to do,,,, I give it one star because the place is clean read more

Possibly one of the worst dental groups I've been to. The assistant did an absolutely terrible job while cleaning, no regards to pain or discomfort. It was messy. Why was water being splashed all over my face and dripping down my neck? Gross. It was carelessness. I literally had to stop him a couple of times because there was too much water being splashed around. I didn't end up seeing the dentist since all I went in for was a cleaning, but I also didn't want to and wanted the get the heck out of there as soon as possible. If you think your time is valuable, and assume you should be called to the treatment room within an hour of your scheduled appointment time, then forget about this place. 60 minutes - that's how long I had to wait for my cleaning, even though I had called days in advance to make an appointment.
