Her enthusiasm about how beautiful my floor could look was contagious. She suggested just polyurethane without stain for the best look, and she was right. She made sure the work crew did the job correctly, visiting the house on the day of the job. I'm sure she does these jobs all the time, but for me, it was a big event, so I appreciated that my satisfaction was clearly important to her. We hired Cobra Construction to remodel our kitchen. Communication with the company is a problem. We…read moresaid twice that we wanted maple cabinets, met Bruce Kolbe at Lowes twice & showed him the finish & style of cabinet door we wanted. Oak was delivered. We said we wanted the kitchen floor grouted with the kind that is self sealing. The kind that isn't sealed was used. Some days the men worked at our house for 45 minutes, some days Bruce Kolbe was a no call/no show, some days he was 1 1/2 hours late. 5 months without a functional kitchen, we fired them for not completing the job in a timely manner, as the contract states, had to buy cabinets on our own & find someone else to install them. Less than a year after the new kitchen floor was installed, tiles began popping up. Now it has to be ripped out & done over. When the floor was being replaced I asked Bruce why it was taking so long. His reply was "I've got my best man on it." There were more problems, but the picture is clear with these examples.
