Tony responded to my quote request almost instantly and was at my house within like a day. The carpet issues I had been procrastinating for 2 years were resolved within hours since he came with everything he needed to not only give a quote but also complete the work. He worked efficiently and got a few rooms restretched within a few hours. Everything looks much better (no thanks to the original carpet installers) and even the creased up areas I didn't think would come out are looking fine. He also helped with another issue in the house, a kitchen floor chip, at no cost. He was also friendly with my young kids who were asking him a ton of questions while he worked on it: babysitting and a repair! Great experience working with Tony, he was quick and responsive to our carpet repair needs. We had some water get into our house and I pulled up the carpet to let it dry underneath and Tony helped to reinstall. The Carpet doctor installed hallway and den carpet and it was the worse job ever. Tony miss measured and had to come back twice,, his installers knocked out a floor socket while removing the old carpet and a electrician ha to be called to fix it - the installation was pathetic as the corners were folded over and unsightly - pathetic job. read more

Tony initially came in with a manual kicker which he was able to pull a couple inches of slack out. It looked okay to me but he said he would come back with a power puller to do a better job. Tony is THE man!!! Give Carpet Dr. 6 Stars! I originally had posted online that I was ordering carpet/pad from Georgia and having it delivered via Southeastern Freight to their dock in Dallas. The services that I solicited was to find a company that would ONLY pick up my ordered carpet/pad, deliver it to my home and professionally install it. Every response from everyone else was either that they would not do the install without my purchase through them OR they could not offer me a competitive bid that would still allow me to charge my carpet/pad/freight order (exclusive of the related install cost). So I decided to check Yelp in hopes that I'd find a carpet installer. I did find that guy in Tony! I explained what I wanted and he didn't waste my time trying to sell me the carpet. We texted back and forth a few times and quickly came to agreement on the competitive price for his installation service. On the agreed upon date, his team picked up things from the dock, delivered it to my home and installed two rooms of new carpet and pad. As agreed, I paid my bill in cash vs. credit card. I would like to highly highly recommend carpet doctor for your choice of carpet purchases and installation; they are simply the best! I just purchased a condominium in a high-rise building, in downtown Dallas. I found the Carpet Doctor from an on-line search. Tony responded immediately. Little did I know that this would be the start of a great relationship between myself and Carpet Doctor. Tony arrived promptly, on Monday morning and measured the dimensions. I had already selected my carpet however Tony suggested another carpet that was similar yet he liked more. I viewed the carpet that he had selected and did find his carpet more appealing than my initial choice. Bottom line, one (1) week later I have beautiful new carpet, with the best customer service, installation AND carpet selection, that I have ever seen!
