The end product is beautiful. But the installation took several weeks, since the company ordered the wrong amount of wood... twice. There were giant patches of uncovered floor after the first installation. They also forgot to install the quarter round and knocked a tiny hole in the wall. The grout was redone because of inconsistent coloring, same problem The second time! they took the trim off my cabinet and threw it away!! Installed baseboards and the grout had a big gap. They don't care only want to be paid. Never answer messages or respond to pictures I sent. REPLY TO MOSES After seeing the pictures of the inconsistent color of the grout Nadine regrouted. The first and second time the floor was grouted it looked good until it dried. The pictures are what the floor looks like now. The inconsistency is obvious. I've been told the installer either used too much or too little water. I now have to pay someone, who is reputable to grout the floor for the THIRD time! The caulking around the baseboard is obvious and couldn't be ignored!! I fixed it as best I could . They said he wasn't there but this guy with a thick accent says my appointment was between 9:00 and 10:00. Really? How would he know? I made the appointment with Kevin. Liar. So I said I would wait till 10:00 but no later. 10:00 comes. No show. Someone could have called, text, emailed but they choose to lie instead. read more

When they installed the carpet in our house, they brought the cheapest pad and started laying it out. Luckily my husband caught it and they had to go pick up the nicer pad that I paid for. Also, they did not put padding on the top stair, so they had to come back and fix it. A week after we moved into the house, I had a small flood in the bathroom and closet, I called and asked them to help me out by replacing just the small piece of pad and they told me I had to buy a whole roll of Pad for $120, then they said I would have to pay a service fee of $375 just to come to my house. The Customer Service is terrible. They are good at talking with you when they want to make the sale, then after that, you are not important to them. They do the minimum and try to get rid of you. They uninstalled the badly installed t-mold and replaced it with stain to match t-mold, beautifully installed. They were highly prefessional and attentive to our needs. Was in the process of negotiating a $16,000 job (hardwood, carpet and tile) with 'Ali.' His communication was bad from the start. Slow to respond to emails. Had to email him twice each time before he'd reply if at all. Then all of a sudden he just stopped communicating completely. After waiting a week, I called their main number and got someone named Qualis or something like that. Explained the situation and told him I still wanted to move forward but want to work with someone who wants my business. He said he would take care of it and call me back in 20 minutes. That was over two weeks ago. Never heard another word. Being treated this poorly before the sale, I can't imagine how bad it would be after the sale. In any case, we ended up going with Nebraska Furniture Mart. We are about to sign the agreement, saved over $3,000 and getting great service. REPLY TO MOSES'S REPLY: The nasty response from this company pretty much says it all. I was told prices were negotiable and was negotiating. Never heard back from Ali or anyone. DO NOT USE PLANO LOCATION!: We have used Nadine Floor prior, and they did a great job. Decided to use them again, not a good idea. Salesman Kevin was great, the team who came out to do the work not so much. Took them total 6 days to do two rooms and three of those days was the crew fixing what they messed up. They lost molding they removed, put a hole in the wall removing baseboards, put dents on one wall where they removed baseboards, couldn't figure out how to transition from one room to another leaving gaps, couldn't close doors had to ask them to shim, covered up fireplace gas key , had to give them tools to do their job, late every day by over an hour, said my dishwasher wouldn't fit back so would have to get a smaller one. I wish I could upload all the pictures showing their incapability to do their job. I do not recommend using Nadine Floor. read more

I had my kitchen remodeled by Nadines 1 1/2 years ago. There were issues with the project and now the parts that were used on the sink in the kitchen island had to be replaced. Very disappointed with their design side of their business. They did an excellent job on my floors but would never recommend a remodel by them. Now I am having to spend money on plumbing items for parts that were sub-standard quality. When I was in the middle of the kitchen project, the painter almost blew my house up by falling off a ladder hitting my gas stove. It was ticking trying to turn on with oil based primer in the area. After about an hour and a half, a second set of contractors were let in my garage and I saw the pulling the painter out and 911 was called. I went home (thankfully still standing) to a house full of EMS and the Fire Department in my home with the block closed off. The painter did not die but I was told by one of the contractors that found him that if light switch was turned on, it could have blown my house up. After I put the review up, I was immediately called by Kennedy threatening to call their attorneys. He also charged my credit card without my authorization for the completion of the project without my authorization - saying he tried to call me but I did not answer. Nadine's installed all new floors in our home. We had both tile and wood floors installed. There was a hiccup on the first day with the wrong tile but Ismael immediately got on the phone with the tile rep and had the correct tile at our house the same day. He was extremely responsive and apologetic. The installers were on time and courteous and the floors turned out beautifull. We have since had them tile our fire place hearths as well and those also turned out great. They were great to work with and I'd highly recommend them. read more

My husband and I just bought a house and wanted to make some updates to it. Here is what came out of our experience at Nadines: Pros: 1. They have a good collection of everything - when my husband & I went in, we were planning to buy only carpet. Only carpet! But after walking around the store, we saw the granite + backsplash options, and we knew we wanted a new kitchen :) Plus, given the convenience of having it all done and clean before we move in - we decided to look into our options. 2. We had never purchased carpet ever. The salesperson we dealt with understood that we were novices, and showed us the difference between good and bad carpet. He recommended to us what carpet would be good, what we should buy. But for some reason that I may not understand, his recommendation changed when we went there the second time - this time with somebody who knew a lot about carpet! I thought it was a very good explanation that he gave - of the difference in the two types of carpet - a carrot which is red all the way vs a radish which is red on the outside, but you peel it (equivalent of bleach cleaning) its white inside! 3. Installation was neat and timely. It looks like they took good care removing the laminate, since the damage to floorboards and spindles (on the stairs) was minimal. But there were some occurrences that needn't have happened - 1. I did not like the way he pressurized us - emails to the effect of - "Sign papers or we'll raise the rates on you". This inspite of the fact that my husband was out of country for two weeks and the he knew that. I understand any vendor's insecurity that we could take our business someplace else, but hey, a person can't shop for carpet when he is not even in the country! Can he? The pressure was a put off and prompted us to look for other vendors for the kitchen granite + backsplash. Saved enough to buy a high end ping pong table :)) Felt a whole lot better - can't put a price on that :) At this point you might ask - why did we do our carpet with them then? Simply because when we first walked in, and the salesperson asked "How can I help you?" we said "We are here to buy carpet from you!" Yeah, we are big time nerds when it comes to keeping our word :D 2. On the day of the installation - the installers asked "Do you want the carpet installed ON TOP of the existing laminate?" WHAT?!!! They said that they were NOT asked to take out the laminate! It took a phone call to the salesperson from above to have the installers instructed that the laminate removal and haul away was part of the quote. 3. When we had discussed the padding for the carpet at the store, we specifically indicated that we'll want the pad with the moisture barrier. This was the first and last mention of the type of padding in the whole transaction. But!! On installation day, they bring the regular padding! That led to another call to the same salesperson and this one got pret-ty heated!! Eventually though, he asked his installers to get the moisture barrier'd padding and install that. So it ended the way we had signed up for. Would I buy from them again? Sure! But when I do, I'm going to uh.. triple check everything :) read more

Nadine Floor Co. installed my Bella Sera flooring this week. The crew was efficient, moved all heavy furniture, worked w/o even taking a break. It was a lot of money, but my floors are gorgeous! The installation was noisy and dusty (I suppose that is true with most remodeling projects) but the final result is beautiful. Also, they did 4 rooms and a hallway in 2 days. read more

I used Nadine floors at Plano location because I had heard they were pretty good. They installed my luxury vinyl planks and did a decent job with it. They charge you 50 dollars a bag for the self leveling floor compound and they tell you they cant give you an estimate because they don't know how much you will need. They add this to the amount after they are done and can be pretty hefty if they use a lot of bags. The only problem I really have with this is that the floors were pretty level already and they used this stuff and my floors ended up unlevel. I checked the floor levels before and after. There are areas where I can tell the difference when I walk on it. My biggest issue, and I chalk this up to my inexperience in all home improvement and renovation stuff, is that they just give you total amount for the job (material, labor, etc.). I failed to ask how much per square feet for the floors itself, which I should have (my mistake). When I had a water leak a month after installation and had to get the floors redone, Nadine's gave me an estimate to redo them and I was surprised with the cost. They were going to charge me $3.44 cents just for the vinyl planks ($3.72 with tax). They said it was because of the tariffs between China and the US. I then asked how much I was charged per square feet for the initial installation and that's when I found out they charged me about $3.15 per sq ft for the floors, which I thought was pretty high for vinyl floors. I would have had laminate floors installed instead for that price. This time around I didn't take their word for it and I called another flooring place and was able to get the same exact floors for $2.89 per sq ft. I don't begrudge businesses making money and I would much prefer to support local small business but its hard for me to support this price gouging. The only reason I don't give them 1 star is because the floor installers were hard working and did a good job. I would give the installers a higher rating. IF you use them, just call around and check to see if you can find lower price since they will try to charge you way more than is reasonable. read more

We went through Nadine floor and paid over $10,000 for these floors we got from them. They looked beautiful and was told that they would never crack if something was dropped on them and that they could handle our large dogs going over it. Two days after the grout started coming out between the tiles. I called had the guys who spoke no English come out 3 times to fix the grout and each time it made it worse. The grout now is coming up through out my house. I was told it was because we didn't let it settle for 24hours before we walked on it.. um not the case. I am furious as now one of my tiles is cracked a year later. I stopped calling because it just made the problem worse half my tiles have no grout between them and the tiles are not even and I have grout on my new cabinets from when they came. I will never go through this company EVER now I have to hire someone else who knows what they are doing to fix this problem! I recently puchased 900 square feet of porcelain tile The salesperson at the store was helpful and friendly. He came to my house to give me an estimate for which he was on time. I paid half down on a large sum of money which was a requirement. I was told that the job would take 3 days. I took 3 days off from work and when the installers arrived, I was told that it was a big job and would take 6 or more days. Three installers were at my house and all three worked very slowly, taking a long lunch and leaving early. I asked them i they had another job lined up and they said that they did not. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they worked very slowly and I was already told that they do not work on weekends. Saturday the foreman called and asked if they could come on Sunday. I allowed it because I wanted the job done. I asked him on Sunday if they have another job now and was told yes. So now they started woriking more efficiently, but they got sloppy. The job took 6 1/2 days and I found two chipped tiles that should not have been installed and used for cutting. This should not even happen wih experienced installers. After the next job was done, one of the installers returned to take up the chipped tiles. Nadine Floors was quite eager to collect the balance immediately plus an extra $400 for minor extras. They did not offer me a refund for the damaged tiles though. I had told the salesperson that I will purchase carpet there also if I am impressed. Terrible, terrible customer service. The salesperson (Norm) we were unfortunately stuck with was rude, condescending, unprofessional & reeked of a "used car salesman" personality. I couldn't believe the condescension coming out of his mouth. He couldn't even properly spell "Estimate" when he finally emailed a scanned copy of a handwritten estimate needed for our insurance. It's been 5 business days and I'm STILL waiting on a call back from management. Apparently she has always stepped out of the store, is on the other line or is with a customer. But a quick return phone call seems impossible. This was our 3rd flooring company we had to deal with so we really needed the ball rolling on our floors. The other 2 companies were just as bad with their salespersons. I WILL say the actual installers that work w/ Nadine (Ismael) were consummate professionals & worked efficiently & thoroughly. And they weren't condescending jerks who don't return phone calls. Try dealing with them directly. They are MUCH MUCH better than any one inside Nadine's. I DO NOT recommend anyone to use Nadine's. Stay away from them. They have decent prices on some of their products but will price gouge you on all other services. read more

My husband and I had our floors done by nadine 4 years back and have them tons of business after that. This year March we decided to get our kitchen counter tops done and also our master bath. When we initially talked to him, he said that I would be complete in a week. They were supposed to start on a Friday April end and they told us they would start Saturday instead of Friday. In the middle they had wrong slabs delivered to the fabricator( galaxy granite) which is also their own shop. On Saturday afternoon after our countertops were ripped out, we got a all satin that they were not ready yet with the slabs and they would come on Sunday morning. We agreed to that too but that should have been our cue to back off. Two men came for the granite and they were not prepared with the caulk or anything. They did a very shabby job with the granite. It was not sealed properly and there were chips and cuts everywhere. The people he had on the job would say that they would come by 9:30 everyday and they would call me directly to cancel saying that ismael has given them a bigger job. I lost money on my job and time. We had dust everywhere In my house because of which my son had to go to the hospital. Ismael had told is before that his people are not supposed to use the client's restrooms but of humanity we allowed them to use it and they never flushed and even broke our master bathroom seat. The plumber who was supposed to put everything in place used horrible stuff to do his job. The counter tops are not straight and we showed all that to ismael and he asked" is that bothering you?" They are 1 inch shorter than my laminate counter tips. My husband called him twice to see if he would come and get things taken care of. By the way the whole job that was to take a week took a month and is still not finished he called after a Lon time and my husband did not pick his phone up. We were very user at this behavior. Yesterday he left us a message that he would charge our credit card and today he called and threatened to send us to collection agency. My advice is that if you want floors and granite done go with a cheap individual contractor. They are more responsible than big names in the market with nothing to offer. read more
