Carpet fixer was great! Sean and his team came to pull up and reinstall carpet so we could fix a squeak in the floorboards underneath. When we called to make the appointment, we were told that he would pull the carpet up and then we would have to fix the squeak and then they would relay the carpet, which was fine with us. They were there on time and worked quickly. Sean was great about coaching us through where to put the screws and the correct type of screws to use. They were also very reasonably price. Sometimes older water heaters spring a leak and flood the basement. Yes, that happened to me (ahem, mumble...over a year ago), and this week seemed the perfect time to install new pad and re-lay the carpet, which thankfully did survive. I was referred, by a local carpet shop, to the Carpet Fixer. One friendly phone call brought a guy to my door just a few hours later for a free quote. It only took a few minutes, the price seemed reasonable and an appointment was scheduled for the next day, even though they mentioned they are usually around 2 days out. Our 'carpet laying technician", I'm assuming that is the technical title, was supposed to come between 11-1 & still wasn't there by 1:20. Their SOP is to call when on their way, and I understand that things don't always go as planned, but I wish someone would have called to let me know he was running late.... However, another quick call to the office gave a revised ETA of 2pm and they did make that. Luckily our day was pretty open so we didn't care much. I didn't talk directly with the guy/guys, as I was playing 'keep the dog from licking the nice people's faces off" in the other room, but I am very happy with the results. All in all, I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future (although I really hope that occasion will not arise). read more

I run a business that is open 7 days/week and requires after hour installation. After waiting two weeks for a 300 sq.ft installation of commercial grade berber square tile carpet they show up without enough material to even cover the base surface area? Fired on the spot! Avoid this company! How complicated is it to measure correctly, and not have enough for the base job, AND then not have overage (squares) for future use? read more

Four years after installation by another business the carpets in my condo were noticeably wrinkled. Skyler from Carpet Fixer re-stretched all three rooms and did a great job. Very polite, hardworkers. They seemed committed to pleasing me. At first I thought they were wonder workers and was ready to call everyone I knew about them. Later, I was able to see the patches they did. My conclusion: they can't work miracles if you've really messed up your carpet and have to cut out bad parts and patch it. However, it is better than leaving horrible bits and they will do their very best to make things work out well for you. They are strong guys and they seem to have good tools and big muscles. Very needed with heavy carpet to tug around. read more

I am a veteran interior designer that was referred to The Carpet Fixer by my carpet wholesaler after my installer of many years retired. The install job I needed done was for a condo at Solitude Resort. The install work itself initially looked good, however The Carpet Fixer did not move the furniture back in place when that service was paid for. I, along with one of The Carpet Fixer installers, moved the furniture back to its correct location. This was NOT done happily by the The Carpet Fixer installer and all while other The Carpet Fixer installer was waiting impatiently in the garage. In the condo, there are 2 lock-out closets that store the owners' belongings. After I started to return the owners' items to the small closet, I found the closet rod had been knocked down and left in the main closet. I contacted The Carpet Fixer, and they said they would come and reinstall the rod. It wasn't a difficult job as it only required new wall anchors and reinstalling it. But after several times of asking for The Carpet Fixer to remedy the issue and them not taking care of it, I hung the closet rod myself because the owners were due to arrive. It was also discovered that 6 pieces of the owners' ski wear, including winter jackets and ski pants, had been damaged with carpet adhesive on them. This was the start of a long drawn out ordeal, with Keith of The Carpet Fixer claiming his company did not even use carpet adhesive. The installation that The Carpet Fixer completed for me was a glue-down carpeting job. After many months of back and forth with lies from The Carpet Fixer, Keith finally agreed to pay for only a small portion of what the clothing cost the owner. We hoped that was the end of our great displeasure with The Carpet Fixer's less than satisfying service. Moreover, I had the only key to the lock-out closets in the condo, and the only time the items were out of the closets is when The Carpet Fixer installed the carpeting. This week (Feb. 21, 2018) the owners came into town for the first time since the condo remodel was completed. The owners found that a snowboard was missing from the condo closet. I will obviously never use The Carpet Fixer again based on these extremely poor experiences. read more

***BE CAREFUL***Over promised and under delivered during whole process. Horrible customer service. Owner Keith will tell you to "F" off and hang up on you when you call them out on their lack of follow through and unprofessionalism. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Be careful, Carpet One will recommend as manager is friends with Keith the owner. Very unprofessional and completely unconcerned about their reputation or whether or not they are leaving you high and dry. read more
