Very poor customer service. Went in 3 times to explain what we wanted and they said they'd get back to us. After waiting over a week to hear from them, we followed up a call. We left a message to please call us and let us know what was the outcome regarding stock that she was going to check on. Gal left us a message asking what was our question?! Huh?! She STILL hasn't answered our questions. Unprofessional. Meanwhile we have gotten our carpet installed professionally by another company who were efficient and provided top notch service all around. This place operates like a car sales showroom. I went to ask about the price and availability of 12x12 floor tile and after 15 minutes of hard sell tactics we left. They will not answer simple questions directly, but insist on bulldozing into your remodeling job and will not give straight answers about product availability and cost. Try Floor Decor, Pacific Island Floors, HPM or Home Depot. This place is only for naive homeowners to get sucked into a major project. Not a place to go to just buy materials. read more

This place is a rip off. I went in for 700 sq ft of laminate flooring. I was quoted $6400. This was with some fictitious discount. I was told the installation would take about 3 months to get on the schedule and the price I was quoted did not include installation. I took the information and left to shop around. I found the exact flooring by the same maker and got a quote for $3400. I called carpet Isle the next morning to find out why they were so much more expensive for the same product and ask if they priced matched. Kendra, the sales lady that helped me, was busy and I was told she call back shortly. By the end of the day I had not heard from her. I called back. I ask her the price per sq ft. she said she gave me a bulk rate price. I told her about the quote. She wanted to see it in writing. I told her I didn't have to prove anything to her and what was her price per sq ft. She was going to check with her manager and call me back the next day. She didn't. Two days later she calls back and leaves a voice mail about this fantastic deal she had. I called her back and left a message to call back. The whole day has passed and she still has not callback. I purchased the laminate from the other merchant for $3400. He gave me great customer service. and answered all of my questions. I won't be wasting my time at carpet Isle again. read more

Carpetisle Flooring America is only about sales and not service. I have purchased and installed both laminate flooring and carpeting. The flooring has started to separate and blister. The carpeting is separating at the seams. I called Carpetisle twice in a span of two weeks and was told that I would receive a call back on those two occasions. I waited almost another week demanding to speak to the manager. Again i was told that I would receive a call back. I finally got one.a day or 2 later. Anyway a Co. representative finally came to check ont my complaint. I was told that a manufacturer's representative will be coming by to reinspect the damages to the flooring. i was also told that the carpeting would be fixed. The company representative informed me that (he/she) would be my advocate to resolve my complaint. This was on 4/22/15. today is 6/11/15 and I have yet to hear anything from Carpetisle Flooring America. Anyone wanting to purchase and install flooring or carpets be advised that. there are other businesses in Hilo that believe that servicing the customer after the sale is just as important as the sale. This does not seem so with Carpetisle Flooring America Ask around to see how many property managers recommend Carpetisle Flooring America. read more
