Carpet Pro is the best! Don't mess with the rest...we have been in this home for 3 years and installed new carpet when we moved in. Had the carpet cleaned every year and we live on a lake with dogs, sand and mud. But, the toughest stains were from cranberry juice that I accidentally dropped one morning...(no vodka included). Lets start with the set up for the appointment I called July 08 to schedule I spook with a Lady who wasn't even sure during scheduling if they appointment she was giving me would be correct until day of so she tentatively scheduled it for Monday July 12 for a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. July 12 comes and a gentleman calls my phone stating they will be arriving soon and again asking for the Unit to be unlocked at that time I confirmed with him of the 2 units that needed to be serviced, He confirmed and stated how long he would be for both. Following me and the gentleman conversation he completed a 1 bedroom and wrongfully entered another unit completing a 3 bedroom that was under a remodel in the mist of concluding the service the gentleman according to tenants was asking for beer beverages, the gentleman got into the Carpet Pro vehicle hitting one of my tenants parked car and just leaving, the tenant immediately contacted me as I attempted to reach out to the man via the same contact from earlier I was sent to voicemail instantly, I reached out to the main office also being sent to office leaving both lines a urgent message asking for a call back. About 15 minutes later the gentleman who just left contacted me back and I questioned if a incident had occurred while he was providing service he stated yes, I questioned again asking him to explain he blankly stated how he had hit the car and left because he wasn't sure how to handle the situation, despite it may have truly been a accident he left I followed up with asking him if he had ever been in a accident before he said not besides today no and I followed up with the first step is to not flee the scene and at least provide contact even if the driver is not present. The gentleman stated I had to reach out to my supervisor because he wasn't sure just what to do. I immediately asked him to have his supervisor contact me. About 5 minutes past, and the "owner" Brian calls me and introduce himself I let him know who I am and how frustrated both me and the others are. I first expressed to him how his worker had hit a parked car and flee'd , completing the wrong job and asking for beer. Brian immediately denied that sounding like his worker. I expressed to him how his worker has already reached out to me confusing it was a accident, Brian asked me if I had actually seen the car get hit, of course I wasn't present either was Brian. Without frustrating myself I cut the useless call short asking for Brian to send his employee to a urgent care to have a pee test done and requesting Carpet Pro's Certificate of Insurance and for the company to provide me with Car Insurance to provide to the impacted. I stated to Brian how I need the Certification to issue a payment for the service I requested for the 1 bedroom and he stated how it was too many stories. I stated how I just need those documents and how it was being followed up. As of July 17, I have yet to receive any of the previous documents I requested and no results from the requested pee test. Brian as a "owner" very unprofessional even at the end stating how he didn't care for the payment. Service was a 2 overall. Whatever happened to excellent customer service or even an apology. Worst possible experience! They came out to do a water extraction and decided, without my consent, to rip out the carpet and charge me $225. If Carpet Pro were remotely professional they would have asked permission before removing the carpet. I never would have agreed for that price. I would have done it myself and saved $225. From start to finish I could not be more pleased! First, when I called for an appt. I was only going to be in the area (it is a vacation home in the Arburn area) for a few days. The scheduler was very accomadatinng and got us scheduled in our "time widow". Then we got a reminder follow up call -good customer action again. At that time since I forgot that one of the bedrooms had carpet in the attatched bath and also forgot about the stairs to the multipurpose room could she add those on to my schedule. She was very accomadating and all got cleaned! Now on to Scott the wonder worker that cleaned our carpets. First he is very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He was on time, looked at the job and went right to work on our very need to be cleaned rugs. We have been in the house for 7 years -a Vacation lake home- used by my four young grandchildren , group parties etc. The carpets were not in great shape when we moved in (stains) even though they had been 'cleaned' just prior to move in my the seller. All that said because I never though Scott wouldl be able to get all the stains out and the carpets. They now look wonderful!!! He did a unbelievable job getting the residual stains and 'worn ' look of aging carpet OUT. Scott was a joy to work with and very knowlable. There was one TINY stain that I asked him about after he had finished and asked be to look and see if I had anything we should talk about. I am a born and raised Grass valley resident and I have several rental properties. I used CarpetPro on our last home we purchased and we were DISGUSTED with the quality or lack there of! I would NEVER refer them or use their services again. I even called and gave them a second chance to re-clean what they didn't the first time. Even the 2nd time was less than average and my husband and I were forced to spend an entire day re-cleaning 2000 sq ft of carpet. I complained and asked for some of the nearly $600 back, and there was no response to that. Over priced, terrible job and I wouldn't even consider using them again!!
