My favorite part is that you can grab a glass and walk around the museum and see all of the local artwork along the walls and throughout the building. I was so moved to learn that it's owned by Jim Obergefell, the plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court marriage equality case. I also love that proceeds from the wines go to support causes that uplift women, the LGBTQ+ community, and other social justice initiatives. It felt so good to know that each sip was also supporting meaningful change. Each wine has a unique name like the "19th Amendment" which is so cool. The space was filled with LGBTQ+ artwork and it is even connected to a gallery down the hall. So you can grab your glass of wine and check out art Nextdoor. Lastly, the service was amazing. This place definitely has a mom and pop vibe and they make you feel super welcomed. We will definitely be back!

It was our first time at this winery, and we came for a tour and tasting. Let me start off with the good, the tour was well put together and our tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting was great, with surprisingly generous pours! Which was wonderful. After the tour, we visited the deli and the food was very yummy with a decent amount of portion sizes for the price. For the tasting however, that's where the bad experience happened. We were having such a wonderful time, until we got a woman named Alayna. She seemed like she was in a bad mood, had a bad attitude towards us, made us feel rushed, corrected the way we "tallied" our choices on the tasting menu, and was extremely off-putting with little condescending comments. Other than that experience, we enjoyed our time. We would come again, and just dodge her in the future if we saw her in the tasting room.

We chatted as I perused and I saw entirely too many adorable things. They have the keenest eye for fashion. I had to cut myself off so I didn't buy the whole store. Their botanical section is also marvelous, with a great selection of sun or shade plants for those of us lucky to live with redwoods. I would highly suggest getting your tickets as soon as they go on sale - they sell out fast!! The free stuff was pretty good too!! They kept the action going - we were tuckered out by 930 though!! Thanks to the gals for making our evening a worthwhile event - and proceeds went to 2 non profits as well!! Great fun!!

Bingo takes place every month or so by the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Odd…read moreFellows Hall in Guerneville. Generally, it is $15 for one card or $20 for two. I attended a very rowdy, very interesting game of Bingo during Lazy Bear Weekend. The Sisters hosted "Bare Bear Bingo" and it's exactly what you would expect. It was $20 for two cards with 5 raffle tickets. If you took your shirt off you got 5 more tickets. Bingo was fairly standard. Seven games were played and the top prize was $250. The games were definitely geared towards the Lazy Bear crowd. The Sisters were very funny and great performers. However, this is not for the faint of heart. During the game there one young man had his cell phone out so one of the sisters paraded him around and for $1 you could mark him with your dauber. As the night progressed several men got spanked or whipped for other in fractions. If you didn't participate correctly in one of the games you got daubbed on the forehead. Food and soda was served in the back for a price. Alcohol can't be served pursuant to gambling laws. The only really frustrating part was that all of the information said that bingo started at the wrong time. Doors were supposed to be at 4pm and start at 5pm. The games didn't actually start until 6pm and it didn't end until after 9pm. It was a long day and so by the end I was ready to go. I had a fun time and I would do it again.

Paintings, sculptures, photos, things to hang on your body and much of it has been inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of the turf where these artists live. The first Friday of every month Guerneville's gallery people open their doors, lay out a few munchies, a cup of something red and shmooze with visitors, townies and members of this intertwining network of people who share goals, points of view and the latest dirt on a couple of their mutual acquaintances. Well-behaved pooches are welcome and you might come upon a few surprises.I love this place and the people who brighten it and make visiting it a special experience.
