I was informed that the technician injured his shoulder and would not be able to work on a stackable unit and they just realized it last night. When the appointment was made a couple weeks ago they informed us that we needed to make sure that the dryer was not on top of the washer, so they knew then that the unit was a stackable. The biggest part that bothers me is that I had to call them to find out they were not even planning on doing the work. Avoid this company if you want your appliances to be repaired!!!

Called on Friday, 10/10 - P and F closed until Tuesday, 10/14. Tried to work with LG technical support - impossible to do what they expected - have you unplugged the unit? How am I supposed to do that as a 66 year old woman - I cannot pull the unit out to unplug it and plug it back in?!?!?! Extremely frustrating!!! Heard from Haylee at P and F on Tuesday. She said that the extended warranty would not have covered what she believed to be a worn igniter switch. We scheduled an appointment to replace that part On Friday, 10/17. Technician arrived early and completed repair in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions regarding the igniter switch and its replacement schedule. Appreciate the punctuality and professionalism of the P and F staff - still cannot comprehend that using an oven for its intended purpose - baking/roasting - wears out the very parts that should support those uses!!! My last gas range/oven lasted for 22 years - not 14 months!!! They didn't build it - I get that, but what a warped world we live in when appliances planned obsolesence kicks in at 14 months!!!
