The office space is clean and modern. I use a flex desk which is fine for my needs. The only concern I've ever had is that if you're not here earlier in the morning - and you need a dual-monitor desk - they fill up fast. I've found the people that share the space are very nice. A few tend to get loud on the phone at times, but no worse than if I were to work at a Starbucks. There are private phone areas as well - so most people use those. The staff is very quick to reply and friendly. I deal with Melissa the most and have found her professional and pleasant. The internet has been slow a few times (as stated below), but I think that's more of an issue with the provider versus this location. In any event, when this happens the problem is always addressed quickly. If you need a break from working at home, I'd suggest trying this out. Co-working spaces/office sharing helped me put more structure around my work day. And made me more productive. Can't complain on that.

It wasn't a bad space. The room we were in was kind of on the small side, since there were 5 rows of tables set up in the room. They were those skinny little tables you see at conferences and stuff too, which was a little bit of a pain, but no big. What actually surprised me most was that there weren't more outlets. I had my laptop to take notes, as did a couple other women, and the only outlets were high up (like more than halfway up) the wall, and only on one side of the room. My laptop didn't die, though, so it worked it alright since I was able to charge during the break. Just a bit unexpected in a modern space. I was here on a Saturday morning, in a small workshop that only had about 20 people total, so I'm not sure how it would be on a weekday, but we were the only ones there during the timeframe of our event. That was nice because it was super quiet. A couple quirks about the building, if you're heading here: They have smart elevators, and though I'm not sure exactly how they work the guard selected the floor from his desk and told me which elevator I would take to get to my floor. There are touchpads just outside the elevators, and on the way down, the only option the touchpad fave me was the lobby (although if you work there, there must be a way to access other floors). There are only about 4 buttons in the actual elevator. Also--on this floor, at least--the bathrooms are secured and you have to enter a code to enter. Nice for keeping it clean and orderly, but it could've a little stressful if you forget the code! We didn't have any kind of tech issues or anything, though it was more than a little annoying to have to agree to get promo emails from them in order to log onto the WiFi--the space was being paid for; that seems like it should have been included in the rental fee. I'm also not sure if adding a slightly larger space made it that much more expensive or something, because the catered lunch we had was set up in a kind of closet-like alcove adjacent to the larger room we were using. But overall it seems like a useful space for small meetings or other events, presentation, or co-working.

It's a fantastic coworking space for those that are looking for a spot to do work that is well appointed, welcoming and community-focused. We have private desks which at the current rate is a steal for anything in Logan or other neighborhoods, but public space abounds for those not looking for a private space. There are conference rooms, phone booths and common areas that are all able to be reserved by their online system. I've been to a number of coworking spaces that are either incredibly pretentious or try so hard to be cool and edgy that they lose their purpose. They also have an employee on site at all times to deal with any problems, which is a nice perk to ensure a flawless party. The space is simply stunning, with lots of windows letting in plenty of natural light, beautiful high ceilings and freshly painted white walls. It was easy to transform it from a workspace into an elegant and serene venue by adding high boys, linens, flower arrangements, balloons, and a few other personal touches. We were able to fit approximately 70 guests very comfortably, and the acoustics were great for our DJ and live band. The owner, Liane, was very accommodating. She reserved our preferred date for us, she maintained communication with our event planner, and she allowed us access to the venue the evening before the event to setup, which was extremely helpful. We were very grateful that we were able to reserve the space for a Sunday afternoon, when street parking would be free. Our guests had no difficulty finding the location or parking, and many commented on how beautiful the venue was. Oh, and there are several bathrooms-- all of them clean and well equipped for your guests (when I was looking at other venues, I noticed that is not always the case, but it's so important-- so I wanted to be sure to mention it here). The kitchen has a sink, small fridge, lots of counter space, and tubs to fill up with ice for drinks. There's a sound system that you can link your phone up to using Bluetooth. There's meter parking in front and lots of parking available on the side streets. Mariah, the owner, was really helpful and was there before setting up to answer any more questions I had and to show me around. I highly recommend booking here, I had such a great experience.

My company is based out of another industrious in chicago, so I simply register for an open space online through the member portal before I come to this location (much closer to home). This location is substantially smaller than the others downtown, but it's never been crowded when I'm here. Minus 1/2 star because the phone booths (by the bathroom) are not very well insulated, but they did recently install two new recording-booth looking modular phone booths across the outdoor bridge. If you've never been to an Industrious, it's a co-working space where your organization can secure an office space, rent conference rooms, and/or utilize any open spaces (for free) in any industrious (nation-wide). Can't rattle off their rates off the top of my head, but I'd recommend checking out their website. I've loved having access to their spaces as a mostly remote employee for a small-medium sized nonprofit.

Local Industrious team is good (Jules is the best), location is amazing (only good spot in Wicker…read morePark), and the office is always in decent shape. Amenities feel like they have trailed off a bit over the past year, and those without dedicated offices will experience some minor issues (limited number of call booths, call booth lights turn off randomly without a couple of minutes of steady (read: exaggerated) movement). The real issue for me, however, is the sales team. They are unhelpful and rigid, and take a short sighted view towards customer relations. I had an unexpected change in location circumstances 3 weeks before my 12 month lease was set to go into effect. Because Industrious' sales team has a 60 day notice requirement, they required me to pay the entirety of the 12 month lease in full. No negotiated solution was offered - they were not willing to convert me to month-to-month, would not entertain my early release offers, and didn't even suggest a like for like exchange of leases in a new location. So, as a customer, beware that if you have any changed circumstance (even one where you can provide essentially full, 12 months of notice), Industrious will seek to extract full value from you. Passing along as this would have changed my calculus when determining whether to enter into a month to month (at an extremely high premium) or longer duration at the beginning.
