It wasn't a bad space. The room we were in was kind of on the small side, since there were 5 rows of tables set up in the room. They were those skinny little tables you see at conferences and stuff too, which was a little bit of a pain, but no big. What actually surprised me most was that there weren't more outlets. I had my laptop to take notes, as did a couple other women, and the only outlets were high up (like more than halfway up) the wall, and only on one side of the room. My laptop didn't die, though, so it worked it alright since I was able to charge during the break. Just a bit unexpected in a modern space. I was here on a Saturday morning, in a small workshop that only had about 20 people total, so I'm not sure how it would be on a weekday, but we were the only ones there during the timeframe of our event. That was nice because it was super quiet. A couple quirks about the building, if you're heading here: They have smart elevators, and though I'm not sure exactly how they work the guard selected the floor from his desk and told me which elevator I would take to get to my floor. There are touchpads just outside the elevators, and on the way down, the only option the touchpad fave me was the lobby (although if you work there, there must be a way to access other floors). There are only about 4 buttons in the actual elevator. Also--on this floor, at least--the bathrooms are secured and you have to enter a code to enter. Nice for keeping it clean and orderly, but it could've a little stressful if you forget the code! We didn't have any kind of tech issues or anything, though it was more than a little annoying to have to agree to get promo emails from them in order to log onto the WiFi--the space was being paid for; that seems like it should have been included in the rental fee. I'm also not sure if adding a slightly larger space made it that much more expensive or something, because the catered lunch we had was set up in a kind of closet-like alcove adjacent to the larger room we were using. But overall it seems like a useful space for small meetings or other events, presentation, or co-working.

WeWork Works! This…read moreWeWork location is conveniently located in Downtown Chicago. The location is easy to find, and conveniently placed near several hotels and eateries. It's also close to Wacker Dr., for those driving, and the trains for commuters. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in getting me set up for the day. I really liked the variety of work spaces, as well as the ability to secure conference rooms for larger meetings when needed. If you're looking for a reliable co-working space, this WeWork location checks all of the boxes.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare, so I used the SpotHero app or something similar. Lots of private office space to rent here, as well as common tables in the kitchen area with plenty of electrical outlets. Brooke (community manager) is fantastic, and they even have a half sheet summary with all the information someone with a day pass would need to know. Only challenge is getting back into the space if you leave and there's no one at the front desk. Otherwise, love the snack pantry in the entryway and abundance of coffee. Would come back again.

I know how I feel about this, but I was wondering how you phelps about this. The Olympia Center is a beautiful shining new building that has a little bit of everything that adds a great deal of eye candy to the Chicago skyline. It looks like they put a lot of money into it and that's probably why they charge so much for people living in here. It is definitely a cool building and I appreciate all these beautiful buildings in the Loop.

The room is very intimate, with windows that open, music options, a fireplace, a flat screen tv, table set up that can be adjusted to accommodate anywhere from 8 to 22, architectural embellishments, and a kitchen for gathering beforehand, or for seating overflow from the dining room (which can also be closed off.) The set up allows everyone to see and hear each other during dinner. Setting up the event was easy. Claudia was helpful and professional throughout the process, accommodating multiple requests and changes, and hosting two site inspections. The food was excellent. Thank you, Chef Jamie! Yessica and Janna provided impeccable, discrete service: ensuring that the room was set just right, providing and refilling beverages, keeping the speaker's food warm as he presented. Everything was prompt, and all our needs were anticipated. I will definitely use Tree Studios again.

It was really nice - with hors d'oeuvres being passed around, wine and other sparkling drinks. It was roomy enough but not too big, so there was a comfortable sense of community.
