However, the final result looked quite different from the trial and ended up feeling rushed and subpar, especially for such an important occasion. What was most disappointing was the response when I expressed that I wasn't happy with my hair. Instead of feeling heard, I felt that the owner became defensive rather than trying to understand my concerns or work toward a solution. As a bride, you hope to feel supported and confident on your wedding day, and unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I do want to mention that the makeup artists were absolutely amazing. They were professional, kind, and did a beautiful job with everyone's makeup, which I truly appreciated. My first time here was as a walk in with no idea of the type of cut that I wanted. I gave Lynette a few basic guidelines and she did the rest. She created a style that works for me and even though I live outside of VT now, I make it a priority to get my hair cut when I'm here. Lynette is kind, attentive, and engaging. Recently I needed a change, so I added some pink to my hair- she put it in as highlights and on the underneath so that when it starts to grow out- I won't have this pink line on the top of my head! and you can still see the pink as my hair has a layer in the back so you see pink intermixed with my light brown hair. she did not need to bleach the areas where she put the pink in- she know what she is doing! At the time, I was using Marc Anthony's line of curly hair products. I washed my hair the night before and used the product. I have never had anyone else mention a bad odor, including my husband who would certainly let me know. On top of it, I walked out with one of the worst haircuts to date. There were no layers and I walked out of there as the shape of a triangle. It took me forever to grow my hair out.
