This is a nice quiet place to get your Spa Day on. With a maximum of 3 workers (one for nails/…read moreface, feet, and massage), this place is a must for those who seek quietness while they receive their treatments. The inside is very small but lovely. I just got the $25 express manicure which was certainly worth it. I had heard about this as a local recommendation for nails and feet, so I went and booked my appointment online. You can also walk in, but you may have to wait. I suggest setting your appointment online, because it is easier and you can change or cancel your appointment conveniently if you need to as well. This is in a hidden nook of the building on the first floor, but once you open the outside door it is easy to locate, since there isn't an outside sign that is visible. Please Note: They prefer checks and cash as opposed to paying a surcharge to use credit cards. But if a credit card is all you have, they will take it! I was able to make nice small talk and find out that Vermont really is a small state and almost everyone knows everyone else1 LOL. I had a great experience and will definitely be back!

0/5 Stars. Adding so…read moremuch salt I could kill a slug with this review. First off, I love a bit of cultural sass, so I already knew I was going to get some attitude for walking back in and asking them to fix the absolute tragedy they put on my hands. second, I heard Mary was good but obvs she had no openings. I took whoever was available. Big mistake. To preface: I'm visiting family in town and typically do my own Gel-X nails at home, and my cousin is a nail tech...so I know proper protocol and was just going in for a quick, fresh gel polish appointment. No extensions, no frills, just simple polish. Here's the rub: The first tech finished the entire "manicure" in under 40 minutes. At first, I was like, "Omg great, that was so fast!" Then I got outside into the blazing sun. These puppies looked like I'd been surviving in the wilderness for two weeks. The polish was a good 1/4 inch away from my cuticles, and the sides were completely flooded with sparkles and polish on my skin (which they just casually cured under the lamp instead of wiping up). I haaaaaate confrontation but I went back in and showed them the mess. One tech looked me dead in the eye and told me I was "just complaining." That pissed me off. Uh, yes, ma'am, I am! Look at it! I wasn't even trying to embarrass anyone, but she said the first tech stayed so far away from the cuticle to "prevent flooding and damage" like she was doing me a favor. Proper prep work and pushing cuticles back is Day 1 of nail school. The entire reason we pay professionals is so our nails don't look like a Walmart DIY project gone wrong. I literally walked out of your door 5 minutes ago and my hands already look like they need a fill. I would have happily taken a refund for the 40 minutes we both wasted, but instead, the other tech sat me down, buffed them off, and started redoing them--using my hands as a live, emergency tutorial to teach her coworker how to actually paint a nail and do cuticle work. She explained to her a few times how to do cuticles. Which was great, because I've been a beginner too, so I get it. But I was already pissed off for being called a complainer. Look, I'm all for a learning experience and no shame at all to these ladies besides doing work that isn't good quality and sassing me. I was once a young cosmetologist myself (now I'm an old one ), so I remember the youngling salon days. But do NOT get sassy with me and act like I'm crazy for your salon's terrible work. And the grand finale? The second tech's "expert" redo was still below par. In her rush to file the gel off my skin, she filed the corners right off the sides of my nails, leaving me with naked, raw edges that are ready to snag on my luggage. I'm over it. If you don't know how to do basic nails, don't run a salon. Save your money and learn to do your own gel nails at home! It's super easy and you'll save the hassle places like this cause. I'm off to Walmart to buy some holographic glitter polish to fix this disaster myself.
