She is exceptionally kind and lovely! She has her own parking lot in front of her store and she allowed us to park there and explore Dahlonega this past Saturday. We were extremely grateful as there was no parking to be found. She also has a restroom that her customers can use and she offers everyone bottled water. I asked the clerk at that time could I return it if it didn't fit since it was for Christmas. She replied YES. As it turned out, It didn't fit him, and I tried to return it today. The woman I talked with was rude, condescending, and downright ugly. She said I purchased it on "Gold Rush Days", and she would not give me a refund because it was a last sale. I don't go to county fairs (they are too hectic, and I can't walk for long periods), so I didn't purchase it then, for sure. It still had tags attached to it, albeit I had cut off the cost of the shirt since it was a gift. I asked for a credit which she refused to give me. I asked to see the manager, and she said she was the owner. Her name was Anna or Abby something, but she refused to give me her last name. I explained that I could not use the shirt, but she didn't care. Her face and words said it all. I have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars in clothes and items for my teen and young adult grandchildren and for my husband, daughters, and sons-in-law over the last 14 years, but I will NOT buy anymore from this store, and I will tell my friends of my terrible experience with the owner.
