Doesn't matter who says this is an accredited work please do not go here. They do not do any follow up they will not call you to tell you that it's going to take a month to work on your item they do not answer the phones. They have a very dirty shop it is super messy it looks like a complete safety hazard, OSHA and the health department should probably go check them out. No response hung up on me several times when I was trying to get an update on a $1300 generator that they've been holding for a month. Apparently they didn't have some parts to repair it and rather than call me or let the warranty company know that there was an issue they just left it and never said anything. This company is cost me business and are probably going to see me in small claims court very soon read more

This sister takes care of her own 10,000 square ft of lawn...until the mower decides not to work...1/2 way through the front yard. I am lawn mower cursed. For years, have had service at a very local (you figure it out) mower repair. Same issue again and again, with each time getting pricier to fix. A year and 1/2 ago took it to OSH up the street with great service and cheap. Sadly, OSH is no longer an option. Found Carillo's here on Yelp. Mixed reviews left me a little uneasy, but I took a chance. Totally worth it. They turned it around in 2 days, overhauled the carburetor ( that statement means nothing to me), gave it a tune up, replaced fuel filter, sharpened blades, and explained what is repeatedly causing the issue. Bam! To complaints posted before me: 1.) Customer service and timeliness were awesome. Maybe, just maybe, an off-day was had at your expense. Show some mercy, you're not perfect either. 2.) Not difficult to find with GPS leading me right to their giant yellow "LAWN MOWERS" sign and the mower on the sidewalk. 3.) It's Pasadena. Parking generally sucks. I expect it. But, I found several spots on the street as well as alley parking. 4.) Service charges were not unreasonable and I look forward to having a yard that looks like someone actually lives there! Give them a chance. Support small businesses. P.s. - my yard doesn't actually look that bad. read more

Ugh...terrible service. How can you run a business this way? I took a push mower in to be sharpened. They said, "No problem, we'll get right on it." After three days, I stopped by to see what was up and they said "Oh, sorry, we must have not tied the ticket on right. It must have fallen off. We'll have it by the end of the day." Okay I said. I went back at the end of the day and guess what? Not done yet! So I gave them another chance and another day to do the simple job. What a surprise! They still hadn't sharpened my mower. So I took it home unsharpened and sat down to write this review. I'll never go back there again for anything! Sorry! read more

Wonderful service everytime. I usually get my Honda generator serviced here but this time it was my lawn mower. My son had damaged the blade hitting a brick whilst mowing the lawn. Carrillo's replaced the blade and tuned up the lawn mower, everything was done in record time. Absolutely recommend this place, great service and great work done too. read more

Ray, who runs the front of the shop, is a nice young man. BUT...the service people are TERRIBLE. I would give them a ZERO if I could. We took in a mower, edger, and weed eater. The mower needed a basic servicing....belt change, sharpening, pully allignment, and oil change. The weed eater engine needed to have the motor rebuilt. The edger just needed a new rope and oil change, For the mower, they put a wrong sized belt on, the WRONG way, and didn't line up the pulley wheel. I don't know IF the oil even got changed since it still looked black. I had to take the mower back to have it re-done. The weed whacker took TWO weeks, and then still wouldn't fire up. We had to leave it a THIRD week. It runs "OK" now, but I noticed they stripped the air filter screw head. And the edgers' oil also still looked like it wasn't changed. Almost $300 for sh*t work, and 3 weeks of time wasted. If you want to have things fixed right the first time, this is NOT THE PLACE. read more

Awesome place to get your lawnmowers or any tools to get a quick tune up, I'd ask the shop owner Ray about the turn around time and he said within a couple hours. Sure enough, I got a call from ray within 3 hours that my lawnmower was ready to go. My new go to shop! read more

Poor customer service. I purchased a used Honda mower. A couple days after the engine was leaking oil and the grass catcher wasn't even for this model. I was unable to return and exchanged it for a Toro. Once again, it starts after about 15 pulls and the carb needs rebuilt. The guys all seem nice but I just don't trust them. read more
