I love my principal and all the teachers that works there are amazing and we have the best parents and the most amazing kids that I have ever known. 20/20 is hindsight here... this is lengthy…read more In mid-July of 2019, a foster child was placed in my home. You can imagine my anxiety and stress at the time, but when I got a call from Cynthia saying that I can enroll my kiddo in their GA Pre-K program, it was such a relief. Paperwork completed, court docs submitted to the school, hastey orientation/open house provided... the school year was rocky, but with a lot of patience and support from Ms. Lisa and Binal, we made it through to March 2020... COVID 19. Honestly, Ms. Lisa and Binal are why I am giving two stars instead of just one. Bright from the Start categorizes our students based upon their socio economic status and needs. This is done behind the scene's and is the provider's responsibility to request adequate documentation and properly categorize the kids when reporting to the state. Needless to say, my foster child was miscategorized. I was charged monthly for meals which the state/federal gov would have provided at no expense to me, if this clerical error did not occur. I found this out when applying for much needed aid during this pandemic. Again, due to this error, my Child did not qualify. I spoke with the DOE along with the Department of Human Services, and because the reports were submitted in error, there is no way to correct my student's record. After finding all of this out, I requested a full refund and the value of the aid lost. I emailed Tiffany, Brittney, Cynthia and their Bright from the Start Rep. I followed up, requesting a corporate contact... no response. I contacted the corporate office's generic number and recruiter and left messages. After a month of no response, I emailed the CEO and CFO of Spring Education, whose name I pulled from the secretary of state's website, along with the school administrators. I FINALLY received a response. This response was from corporate's counsel & yes, all blame is being put on me. I didn't provide the documents needed to properly categorize my Child, and apparently, I was asked "repeatedly" for it. A blatant lie. If you are thinking of enrolling in the GA Pre-K Program here and your Child has an IEP or is on MediCaid, do not. The administrators of the school are not familiar with the services available and are clueless when it comes to Public Education Programs.

Thanks to these incredible teachers, that transition has been nothing short of seamless. From day one, they welcomed him with warmth, patience, and genuine care. They've created an environment where he feels comfortable, supported, and excited to learn every day. Seeing him come home happy, engaged, and confident has been such a relief as a parent. I no longer carry that "mom guilt" because I know he's in a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning space. This school truly has amazing teachers and maintains a very high standard of care and curriculum. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive. worst daycare the don't sanitize , my toddler caught with…read moretoo many sickness once he started this facility. the front desk people has no concern or respect towards parents . they look down on us. i see all the kids in my sons class room with runny nose , the Teachers don't clean it, kids wipe it all over their clothes and face, they touch and wipe it on toys (easy way to spread the germs) . that class room always has foul smell in it, I doubt that they sanitize the classroom and toys . my son had sickness with high fever and cold wheezing all the time. We went to pediatrician more than 4 times every month when he was there. As a conclusion, it's like paying to get sickness and meeting disrespectfu/ignoring people. i blame myself to choose this facility. And i put my older kid in different daycares, I never had this issue.

My children attended Kids R Kids (Cumming) for 8 months and I was really disappointed with the poor…read moreand often disengaged management, money focused owners, and consistently dissatisfied staff. The classes were overcrowded and they were unable to retain staff due in large part to their poor management. My child was enrolled in private pre-k (smaller ratio class and more perks/education than Georgia pre-k) but it was brought to my attention, by current and former employees, that the private pre-k teacher also had to consistently watch preschoolers in her class due to understaffed rooms. They consistently overcharged and I had to communicate the error each time. The field trips for students were not geared toward educational value. The consensus and reputation this facility held (by parents and current/former staff) is that new enrollment is their top priority, not the well-being of currently enrolled students. They will not move your child to the next level (when they reach the correct age to move up) unless you harass them to do so. I have witnessed staff yell harshly at children (at various times of drop off and pick up) and be stingy with school material (e.g. coloring pages, snacks, etc.). My children are enrolled in a new child care center and are thriving; learning more than they did at Kids R Kids. I am amazed by the happy staff who greet me whenever they see me, and the eager teachers who want to tell me about my child's daily progress. I never received this interaction at Kids R Kids (Cumming). I had to initiate communication with staff and consistently ask about their progress... I hate to post such a negative post about a childcare but I think it's important people are aware of this facility and not be blinded by how nice and modern the facility looks, as those were two things that won me over; I wish I had heard about people's experience before I enrolled my children at Kids R Kids (Cumming).
