Our daughter has attended THMS for over two years, starting in the infant program and currently in primary. We are very happy with our experience. We thoroughly researched and toured several schools before enrolling her at THMS in April 2023. Mr. Amir, the former owner, was a great leader. Ms. Shireen, the current head of school, is equally wonderful. Despite facing challenges like every organization, the school has experienced positive transformations. Ms. Shireen, Ms. Uzma, and the incredible teachers have prepared our children for kindergarten. There's been an increase in open communication, and more visibility into the curriculum. The school offers fun activities during school hours and some after, and they always include parents and families whenever possible. Our daughter has cherished every teacher, including her afternoon teachers during the extended day program. We haven't experienced any harsh treatment, thankfully. While it's understandable that we might pick her up sweaty from the playground due to Georgia's hot weather, I don't expect teachers to keep all the kids' shirts tucked in or wipe their faces constantly. If that's the case, I'd provide face wipes and leave a note for the afternoon teachers. We've also never picked her up wet because they always help change her if she has an accident, even if she spills water on her shirt! We provide change of clothes and they bag up the wet clothes for us. I deeply respect Ms. Shireen's challenging job. She remains positive and I always see her at school with a smile on her face. Montessori philosophy doesn't sugarcoat developmental truths, and Ms. Shireen and the teachers must tell parents where their kids truly are. They spend upwards of 40 hours per week with them, unlike many of us. I appreciate their hard work and am excited to see what our daughter learns in the next two years. read more

This use to be a great school until change in ownership a few years ago and while i'm mostly happy with the daytime instructors after about 2pm they just have 20y children or elderly "watching" the kids. Also the admin staff use to be very robust and attentive but they have since seemed to hire only migrants who have extreme difficulty with English and are totally unfamiliar with the customs and courtesies of our society. This was once an extremely diverse student population but unfortunately thats no longer the case. We're looking forward to the end of this year. Oh and lets not forget about the multiple lies put out by admin a year or so ago stating they're unable to find someone to prepare food for the children when they just wanted to pocket an extra $50k while adding hundred in tuition every month for their thew service they partnered with. I would not recommend Tomorrow's Hope Montessori School in Suwanee. My experience there as a parent has been extremely disappointing and concerning. The way the staff treats the children is far from nurturing or aligned with the Montessori philosophy. During my daughter's time there, we noticed multiple red flags. She would often come home with her clothes soaked or improperly dressed after using the bathroom -- shirts not tucked in, pants half pulled up -- showing clear signs of carelessness. Her face was frequently red when we picked her up. At first, we assumed it was from face paint or playing, but after reviewing camera footage, we realized it was actually from how harshly the teachers were wiping her face. This is completely unacceptable. The food handling practices are also alarming. I personally witnessed a teacher carry five chicken nuggets from the kitchen to the classroom in her hands, even though she was wearing gloves -- no plate, no tray. When serving the food, it was literally tossed onto the children's plates with no care or kindness. Most upsetting of all is the teachers' overall tone and treatment of the kids. The environment is cold and impatient. I witnessed one incident where a child was crying loudly during mealtime, and the teacher yelled at him, grabbed him, and forced him to sit on the floor simply because he was playing with his chair. That is not how any child should be treated, especially not in a school that claims to follow Montessori values. Considering how expensive this school is, the lack of care and compassion is unacceptable. We were willing to sacrifice our hard-earned money for what we believed would be a safe, nurturing, Montessori-style environment. Sadly, what we experienced was the complete opposite. When I brought all of this to the attention of the school director, Shireen Ali, and we reviewed the camera footage, she showed zero empathy or concern, even though everything I described was clearly visible on the footage. Her only solution was to transfer my daughter to a different classroom -- nothing more. That's not acceptable. These teachers do not seem properly trained, and honestly, it doesn't appear that anyone on staff is actively monitoring those cameras unless a parent specifically asks. We ultimately withdrew our daughter because we no longer felt safe leaving her in that environment. I'm sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision -- what looks good on the surface at this school can be very different from what actually happens behind the classroom doors. read more

We highly recommend this school. We came from another school in the area and felt very defeated. At this school the admin staff and director made us feel very comfortable. They explained the process and the transition very carefully, they allowed him to take his time and ease into the classroom. The director worked directly with the teachers and helped with the whole transition process. Our son has been thriving and loving every day. We love the overall experience, especially the parent coffee days and the special events with the kids. read more

Note: I hadn't read the other reviews before I submitted this originally on Google and then I realized there's yet another pinching incident listed on there. Who knows how many more there are from children who may have been too scared or not able to communicate. Smh. This is outrageous. I switched my review from two stars to one star because they are clearly ignoring a pattern or worse, they're sanctioning this abuse behind closed doors. And instead, they lead parents to believe that their children are liars. It makes me sick to think we had our kids there for so long. There is definitely *something* going on here. Believe your kiddos. Trust your gut. Original review: My two children attended THMS between 2020 and 2022. While there are definitely loving and warm staff members dedicated to caring for and developing children here, I ultimately do not feel comfortable recommending them due to a circumstance THMS handled very poorly. We've spent a lot of time wondering whether or not to share our story but now that I've been asked numerous times about whether I recommend this school, it feels irresponsible not to: A condensed version- Our 4 year old son, uncharacteristically, refused to go to school one morning. He shared that his teacher "pinches him" if he does not want to nap. Since making up stories wasn't really like him and he had been in other schools for over two years already without a single problem, we were alarmed. However, we didn't jump to conclusions and obviously wanted to address this with the school. When we did, the leader of the school immediately said this was untrue and that my child was lying. My husband and I were not entirely sure what happened exactly and we were open to the idea that maybe our child exaggerated or made something up. However, the way the director reacted so defensively was concerning. We were actually willing to investigate what was going on together but instead of offering to get to the bottom of it, the leader of the school immediately defended his teachers without even speaking to any of them, or my child, about it. And once he did speak to my child, the first thing he says is, "your teacher is nice to you, right?" Smh. Unbelievable. Needless to say, we spent weeks going back and forth demanding some sort of investigation, conversation with the teacher in question, and even a mediation with her. It was ALL refused. The only thing said they did was look at 5 days worth of video footage (which they refused to show us) and confirmed that it could have never occurred. Smh. Since we only had a short amount of time before our son was moving out of the school for elementary school, we switched him to a different class but remained vigilant. Sadly, we later found out that another one of our child's classmates from his previous class came home and told his parents that his teacher was pinching him too : ( Anyway, there were some kind people there but unfortunately, I don't trust them. And their approach to child safety is questionable at best. They weren't even willing to explore the *possibility* that one of their teachers might have made a big mistake and that says everything you need to know about this school. read more

I love this place bc they know how to work with co-parents! My ex husband and I both want the best for our daughter and love that they don't " take sides" and include us both in everything. It's clean, the staff is amazing, and my child loves it there! read more

My review was disabled on Google! I am writing this review to help future parents and their decision about this school. First, I want to say that my son started attending THMS September 2022. Our family was warmly welcomed by Ms. Ja'Keia! She was professional, extremely knowledgable, and great all around! She is a perfect representation of what THMS needs for not only the students but the parents as well. We also absolutely LOVED our son's teachers Ms. Afsaneh and Ms. Taylor. They were very loving, understanding and helpful for our son. Exactly what he needed being new to the Montessori setting. I also have to give a special thanks to the front office staff, Ms. Yoonhea and Ms. Anita! They were so loving, comforting and patient. As first time parents, we truly appreciated all of these women for their love and support. The school wouldn't be what it is without you beautiful ladies. Now...Let me get to why we had to pull our son. When we first had our son start at THMS, the director was Ms. Tina. ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVED HER!!! She was so loving, knowledgable about the Montessori setting and how students should be treated. Also, she took the time to meet the parents and get acquainted with us. Now, the school has a director who not only needs more training in the Montessori but more training with how to work with families as a whole. We did not have a good experience with the current director, Ms. Chelsea. Our son is 3 years old which made him the youngest student in the Primary 1 room. Our son started to experience some behavior changes (what ALL growing toddlers experience in their developmental stages). Instead of Ms. Chelsea working with our son to understand what he was experiencing, she would call my husband and I to pick him up from school. We would have to leave our jobs to pick him up from a school we were paying $1,155 faithfully each month. One thing about my husband and I, we are present parents. Our son has NEVER gone without or ever been neglected in any aspect of his life. We have even gone to the extent of finding our son a play therapist to help with his behavioral concerns. I am a professional school counselor and mental health therapist and I know how to care for my child. I cannot say the same for Chelsea Ward. If you're going to work with children, it is imperative that you have a heart, understanding and patience. Sending our son home every chance you get was not the right move. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I met with the owner, Mr. Amir, and he flat out told me that the school does NOT have the "resources" to care for my child. EXCUSE ME!?!? Our son does NOT have a medical diagnosis and even if he did, it is the school's and our responsibility to work together to help these children. We pulled him immediately!! Statistics show that African American boys have a higher rate of being suspended/expelled from daycare through high school. This is coming from the lack of school support, parental support (not in our case as parents), and lack of professional development/trainings. My son will NOT become a statistic and that starts with us, his parents, since the school (the owner and the director) didn't do their part. We would always get," Oh we love your child!" "He is so smart!"...Stuff we already know, but what about how you're helping him mentally and emotionally? They dropped the ball in that area. Again, we're appreciative of Ms. Ja'Keia, Ms. Afsaneh, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Yoonhea and Ms. Anita for all of their help, love and support for our family. I wish things would've been different, but until it is fixed from the HEAD, things will never be good for this school. I love the school and their academics, but the owner and director need some more training on how to work with ALL children instead of being ready to press that payment button monthly. Send your kids here, but I HIGHLY encourage you to work closely with Ms. Ja'Keia! She knows her stuff and is an amazing "people person". read more

Tomorrow's Hope is EVERYTHING we have been looking for in a school. Everyone from the owner to the school leaders to the teachers have been nothing but the best for our 3 year old. At first we were hesitant about putting her into a Montessori program, but in the past year she has grown so much with her personality, intelligence and independence. Everyday you walk in, you can feel the love and compassion that everyone has for the children, especially the owner, Mr. Amir. Unlike other childcare facilities where you may see that it's franchised out, you may see the owner once or twice a week. Mr. Amir is there from open to close (6:30-6:30) every day and takes great care to keep the facility up to date with the best toys, safe environment and healthy meal choices. read more

This is the BEST school. My daughter is almost 2 and is learning and maturing so much. She is so independent and confident. She walks in school everyday happy to be there and is happy when I pick her up. She blows her teacher a kiss goodbye everyday. I don't like being away from her, but I am happy when I drop her off knowing she loves her school, teachers, and friends. I toured this school recently and really liked it. I am thinking of switching my child from stepping stone (just down the street on PIB) to this facility. THMS is beutiful, clean, and the owner and director were very nice. The kids and teachers seem happy here. read more

One of the hardest decisions I had to make was returning to work and placing my son in childcare. I spoke with several parents who strongly recommended placing my son in a Montessori school. One thing on my checklist was ensuring my son's childcare included several educational activities throughout the day. After several meetings with the staff at Tomorrow's Hope I knew this was the place. The staff eased my anxiety and made this transition as smooth as possible for me and my son.
