It's a small, easily accessible, and a very cleanly campus. I enjoyed my visit there.

I always leave feeling rejuvenated -- and at age 75, that is no small feat. The only reason I didn't give it the fifth star is that the current location is not quite as commodious as some of her previous offices.

I took classes here in Acupressure and I just want to say that I struck a gold mine when I found the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. The classes were taught by Linda Khanzetian, a Doctor of Natural Health. Dr. Linda is an excellent teacher. I could not have asked for a better teacher than someone with her background and level of experience. She's thorough, patient, and answered most of my questions before I could even ask them. The wisdom that she shared I could not have discovered in a book on the subject or picked up from instructional videos. More than anything, her passion for the natural healing arts came through loud and clear. To say the least, it inspired me and further motivated my desire to practice Acupressure. At the conclusion of the classes, I understood a lot and felt like I received what I needed to pursue this area of the healing arts. I should also mention that I found the spa setting there to be very conducive to learning.

My blood pressure lowers as soon as I walk into her calming office and I always leave feeling physically and mentally stronger and more serene. Robin uses a variety of techniques on me, including acupuncture, cupping, oils, and Moxa sticks. She is a true healer with an intuitive sense of just what I need at any given session. Robin Harris is a key element of my goal to incorporate more eastern medicine into my healthcare. I'm so grateful to have her on my care team!

I'd never done acupuncture before and was a skeptic as I'm sure many are. Here's the deal....she has somehow managed to "fix" anything I've thrown at her from issues with willpower to aches and pains to stomach problems to exhaustion. Honestly, the thing that I love the most and keeps me coming back is that I've never met anyone, EVER, who believes in and loves what they do more than Robin does. The love she has for her craft alone could heal someone....really it could. Sometimes I think that she loves her job and cares about my well-being so much that she is able to "will" my issues away. Is it Robin or is it the medicine? I've given up trying to figure it out and just decided to go with it. Does it really matter anyway when it's working as well as it does?!

Dr. Ueno is a wonderful, professional and caring acupuncturist…read more I have been working with him for well over a year now on a consistent basis. I sought acupuncture as a part of my treatment since I had been diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease, similar to MS. With this disease I was battling many health issues due to the number of co-infections I contracted from the disease, leaving my immune system severely challenged. If you have Lyme disease it is extremely challenging and complicated as well as unfortunately being highly misunderstood by the medical community. Realizing that conventional medicine did not have the answers is why I turned to functional medicine and really began to heal in the last two years. In the past, before I was diagnosed and still seeking conventional medicine, I did try acupuncture for the first time and it really did help me significantly with my seizure disorder that I developed from Lyme. That was a turning point for me to seeking help elsewhere. By the way I was on three anti-seizure drugs that did not work and acupuncture was the break through to beginning to alleviate it. Western medicine is finally catching up to what we already to know to be a valid and extremely helpful practice. I would like to say that I have worked with other acupuncturist in the past who were great, but having acupuncture with Dr. Ueno was a very significant part to my continuous healing. He is certainly part of my success. He is exceptionally intuitive about what the body needs in terms of support to heighten healing. He is also very generous and kind as is his wife who works in the front. My healing has been a very long and hard process because there are many layers and it can be hard to turn the tides. I definitely feel like we broke through a great deal and couldn't be happier with my results. I no longer have seizures, and I am having more and more energy as well as reasonably pain free days. Best of all is my brain is functioning reasonably well and I have a return to most mental faculties at this point that I had lost. I could not recommend this practice more. The value is truly there and is a wonderful ally to one's overall treatment plan.
