I must admit I was a skeptic before seeing Carrot Top for the first time. I found his humor entertaining but didn't know if I'd enjoy 80 minutes of it. The bits you see on TV in short 3 - 5 minute segments are very constraining and do not allow him to fully exhibit his comedic depth. Went the first time a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the show. (As we were leaving after the show a couple women approaching the venue saw who was performing and one of them said, "Carrot Top? He's still alive?????") I'm happy to report he is very much alive and kicking and seeing him the second time was every bit as funny as the first. He pokes a little bit of fun at everybody including himself which makes for a great evening. This was not a show I would have originally gone to unless someone had tickets or just really wanted to go to. But having been twice I'd readily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night of edgy humor with a legendary Vegas performer. read more

This guy is super nice and tries to interact with his fans & audience as much as possible during his show but the actual comedy felt very juvenile & 90's! My husband and I plus our friends decided to go see Carrot Top in Las Vegas. My husband ordered the tickets online a few days before our trip. They sent the tickets as PDFs to his email. My husband decided to print them out as well. We took a Taxi to the Luxor Hotel. We walked around and headed to the venue where Carrot Top was performing. We walked up to the venue where the people out front checked our tickets and then told us where to go. They also informed us that the bathrooms were outside of the theatre. We walked through the venue and walked up what seemed like an endless ramp. We passed several security people working in different areas that would greet you and make sure you were going the right way. We finally made it to the theatre. We sat down and waited. There was an opening act and the comedian did a good job with the crowd. When his set was over he introduced Carrot Top. I didn't know too much about Carrot Top and I wasn't sure what to expect. Carrot Top did a great job. His act was funny and entertaining. We all laughed almost the entire time. He was very friendly and interacted with the crowd. I enjoyed watching Carrot Top's set and I would go again because he was hilarious and It was a very positive experience. read more

Holy crap what a funny show! I snagged a great seat at the last minute and was glad I chose to go see one of the greats instead of losing more money at the casino. The show was about 90 minutes including an opening comedian (about 20 mins). He wasn't that great. The timing of Carrot Tops show is amazing, with music and visuals and props and all kinds of stuff. It seems Random at times but he seems to add new material, but still does some of the things I've seen him do in the past on one of his tours. The enjoyment of the show must have been still shining on me as on my walk back to the Excalibur, a very attractive young woman saw my euphoria and asked me if I wanted any company. It's amazing how Carrot Top can make you feel better and the feel-good feeling exudes so others see it and just want to be with you. I declined and she wept and walked away to the other guy who just left the show too. She must love Carrot Top fans! Look for a deal in the MGM app or the box office (i.e. two shows for $75) and treat. yourself to some fun. The entrance is on the 2nd floor mezzanine area by the food court. read more

I do not recommend this to locals. I do not recommend this to anybody with knowledge of CSEC in Las Vegas. Look I travel and see shows alone and I want to love everything I see, but I am Las Vegas local and I work with teens pulled in to sex trafficking. These girls are not hookers or prostittites. . They are young teenagers foster children here in Clark county. Prostitution is not legal here. Not in Clark county. Stop putting forth this idea that it is legal and good here, when most of the girls are being victimized by this ugly Las Vegas narrative. Super fun show! Never saw any thing of Carrot top before but his jokes were amazing. He does a lot of prop comedy, which just means he pulls out a lot of weird and wacky items out of boxes on stages but that doesn't mean his jokes are anything but funny. I got 5 tickets a week before the show as I saw that seats fill up quickly, I brought them online and they send two emails with your tickets in them. The seating is very very close together, though; we had to get up multiple times to let people pass us. The way to get to the seats was also kinda annoying too! We showed the usher our tickets and he told us to keep walking til we see the doors, and it was a long long hallway that sort of circle around? If you are with an older person be wary, it a very long walk that we were not prepared for. The show is very bright and loud as well, carrot top didn't show up first. He starts with an opening that does some crowd work, his jokes mostly depend if the crowd is open up to him or not. Sometime the crowd was quiet during his joke and it felt awkward. read more

So my wife and I have seen plenty of Vegas shows. For some reason Carrot Top for me personally was just something that was never on my bucket list. We recently stayed at Mandalay Bay and the Luxor was next door where Carrot Top performs.... I checked out both Yelp and the Vegas.com reviews which were surprisingly good. Tickets were inexpensive for a Wednesday night so I said why not. I do not regret it!!! I think I thought that it was a comedy magic show (not big on magic shows in Vegas) when in reality it's a comedy show with props, visuals, and music etc. Turns out he's actually HILARIOUS! Very well done show, didn't overdo it on current events/ politics etc. just the right balance. Now, he also doesn't look like what he use to 20 years ago lol. But, doesn't matter the show is great and I was pleasantly surprised. Don't want to give away too much so, if you have a sense of humor and are looking for a good time, don't hesitate. I just saw Carrot Top for maybe the 3rd or 4th time in my life this week. He is so funny! (And I think he's cute, but that's irrelevant, haha.) Both Carrot Top and his opening comedian handled a heckler like nobody's business! They worked him right into the show and nobody was kicked out or hurt. Security was great, backstage/crew people were great, Top's props are as fresh and hilarious as ever. The only complaint is unrelated to him; the seats in the Luxor showroom are tiny! The lady next to me had to get up and leave near the end because our legs were touching the whole time and she had a bad leg cramp. But all in all, amazing show. I'm a 31 y/o lady and I went with my parents, and it wasn't too awkward at all. Raunchy, but so worth the laughs. If you like adult-themed, borderline offensive, endearing humor, Carrot Top's your guy. I will most definitely be back!!! read more

Every once in awhile, I drink a little bit of haterade and get a little judgey. Normally I'm an angel, but I must admit, I assumed who Carrot Top was based on quips and jokes of others. I went to his show not expecting much and actually LOVED it. He's so personable, good to his fans, was really funny and his standup was topical and good! I thought he was all props, but nope! The man got jokes, legit. And he's self deprecating, which as someone who has the same sense of humor, I fully appreciate. You'll find the Ging within the Luxor at their Atrium Showroom in the center of the hotel, on the elevated second floor. Tickets are kind of pricey but if you do a little searching, you'll find a good deal. We were in the first row and had an amazing view. All staff at the Atrium was great! I would venture to say, his show is so good, I would see it again. I'm in Vegas every few months and I can see myself going again. That's how surprisingly good Carrot Top is! Highly recommended if you are into raunchy stand up! Bonus points, he told me I was cute. My new favorite comedian, lol! read more

We are locals and our expectations were low with this show. We've never been to the atrium showroom before, but I will say we were pleasantly surprised! It was a very short walk from the parking garage. Once you get inside the doors, it's up the escalator right near the food court upstairs. The king tut, bodies, and blue man group is all up there as well. It's a small venue so no seat is a bad seat. They are also pretty comfortable seats with nice cushions and decent leg room! We went on a Thursday night so it was not super crowded either. The ramp up to the section we were in was a long uphill ramp, which he jokes about in his show. There is a bar inside with full service, snacks and nonalcoholic drinks. Restrooms are outside of the venue in the Casino though. Once we got inside they forbid any cameras, video or cell phones so they make you turn them off. If caught you will be removed from the show. It's 90minutes and they start right on time with an opening comedic act who was pretty funny. Then Carrot Top comes out and he was so funny!! We laughed non stop! He loves to interact with the crowd and he even goes through the audience and shakes hands and meets a lot the guests. He is truly a genuine person and you can tell that by the stories he tells. He seems to have the biggest heart. Couldn't have asked for a better night!! We were truly impressed!! Highly recommend!! read more

I want to start out by saying, this review is not for carrot top's Vegas show, I got to see him "on tour" however, from what I understand, this show was very similar to his Vegas show. The show was funny. I don't know if the opening comedian was the same that performs with him in Vegas, he mentioned living in Vegas, so it may be the same guy. Most of his stuff was funny. Stuff like kids, getting participation, trophies, etc.... But he did a few jokes about drinking and driving that I thought were not funny at all. That's not something to joke about. Carrot top was funny. Loads and loads of energy, very engaging, and lots of props. You didn't like that joke? Don't worry the next one will be along in a second or two. He did some political humor, but he picked on both Trump *and* Biden. So that was fair.. at one point, right in the middle of his show, he even came out into the audience, saying hello, and shaking hands. Some of his props were more adult oriented, and they were funny. What I really didn't care for though, was the language. There were quite a few F bombs. Some of them were part of the jokes, some of them were just Used as part of his banter... effing this, effing that, etc. I am not a prude, , and I would expect that if I was seeing somebody like Ron white... I thought carrot top was going to be more of a family oriented show. It is a funny show, and it is worth seeing, you just need to set your expectations. Thanks for a funny show.. read more

Love it but the third time was probably the last. While he peppers in a few current jokes (mainly safe Trump Jokes, which were funny), since I have seen him the last two years I knew basically his whole set already. Still good, still fun, but not fresh. He references things like Lady Gaga's dog napping, which was so long ago and some even more dated jokes involving things like the phone book. If you have never seen him you should definitely go, but I wish he would freshen it up a bit. Same with the opener. Moderately funny but needs some new material. read more

So much fun, beginning with the casual meet & greet with great conversation. Both a photo with the Top and an autographed photo were included. Theater was pretty darn cold! But the seating is perfect and a very nice venue. Love how Carrot Top consistently cracks himself up when telling jokes and presenting his props. This felt like a bargain. read more

Great one man show and fun for all. He's been around a long time but his humor and timing are on the spot!

We had a GREAT time! The theatre is small and intimate. They don't allow outside food and the bathroom is in the food court. They do have a bar inside and a few snacks like popcorn and movie candy. I wasn't sure what to expect but it blew us away. His comedy is current and topical (which I love). He flirted with politics but stayed in the comfort zone so everyone in the audience could enjoy it. There were only one or two raunchy jokes so it wasn't uncomfortable. In the middle of the show, he came into the audience and took photos, gave high fives, and engaged with the audience. The show continued with a bit of a retrospective on his career in comedy. He talked about how he got into it and told some personal stories. His humor was self deprecating and told in a way that everyone could relate to. The close was surprising and AMAZING! I won't tell you what it is but .... you're gonna love it. Since it was so current, I bet it changes a little every week. I would definitely go see him again. read more

Surprisingly a good show! I will say, many times when people have been around for a while, I get disappointed with their act as they're not always as good as they used to be. While I will say that Carrot Top used many old props and jokes that I can tell have been around for years, they were still seen as classic by many in the audience. Be prepared that it is not necessarily a family friendly show as there is a lot of adult props and language. However, I thought he was very personable throughout the show and very down to earth. We actually ended up having a lot of fun and laughs on this night! This was my second time seeing the show, and I enjoyed it more the second time knowing more of what I was getting myself into. The seating is a little close together but decently comfy. The showroom is smaller so honestly it's in the audience's favor as you'll be fine sitting just about anywhere in the venue! They also have a bar and snacks for purchase. From the parking garage you'll head across the walkway and up the escalators by the food court. I saw Carrot Top years ago. At that time, I feel he was in a larger venue than where he is performing these days. Carrot Top is still performing at the Luxor. This show is creative, entertaining and funny. I have always appreciated his creativity he puts into his act. Ever evolving which I appreciate. The warm-up comedy he had during my visit; I could have done without. His comedy didn't match my taste nor Carrot Top's type of comedy. Based on attendance, my group was moved up to the second row from the stage. Plenty of seating was available in the theater when I arrived shortly after the 8pm show time. I just went to a show last night and he looks homeless. He is not even funny. That was my first time seeing him. All he does is pull things out of four or five trunks. He has on the stage and chose them to the public. That's the whole show but he does not look anything like the pictures that they show of him. His hair isn't even red. It's all matted and it's green and different colors, poor guy he looks like he's on some sort of drug He's out of it!!!! totally would not recommend and the bar inside the venue, the drinks are horrible as well we ordered Long Island iced teas and there was no liquor in them but still paid $60 for two drinks. read more
