They use to offer good quality and service, but it has went down the drain fast in the recent years. In my 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE (new at the time). It had 35,800 miles. I purchased this new in October of 2014 from Heart City Toyota of Elkhart, Indiana. Here is the list of problems tht I had woth it: - On November of 2014 there was a recall issued for the second row overhead assist grips. They were replaced in January of 2015 at 7,800 miles. - It had a bad support bearing on the front passenger side axle that was replaced at 22,900 miles. - It is on its third transmission. The first transmission was replaced at 20,200 miles and the second was replaced at 29,800 miles. - The most recent recall, at the time, was on the side doors opening randomly. The recall was issued on November of 2016 and it is May of 2017 and Toyota still had not found a cure. - Cruise control lever light flickering. It was replaced three times. Noticed the first time at 7,800 miles. - Dash randomly freezes for about 5 minutes and then goes blank and resets to the default settings (it has happened seven times +) and Toyota still cannot figure out the problem. - Climate control shut off completely, by itself, without touching any buttons while driving. I submitted a claim to the Toyota Corporation and after four tries, they denied my claim of doing a 'buy-back' or providing a replacement vehicle.

Immediately after taking delivery I noticed there was an alignment issue when driving at highway speeds. This made me question that the car had been gone over thoroughly as the salesperson stated. My next visit was for service on a loose sway bar/ noise when cornering. The service manager informs me that the warranty claim was denied for the amount of $800. I started asking question about the amount he was now trying to charge me and what exactly was getting replaced. He backpedaled and lowered the amount for what turned out to be replacing the $100 end links. No wonder the warranty claim was denied. The following visit/ last visit. I bring the car in for check engine light. The car needed a drivers side oil control valve. The service manager tells me the warranty claim was denied for $1200 repair. He then informs me the dealership ended business with this warranty company and that they are now not covering claims as a result. He says I should cancel my warranty with them and try to get a refund. For good reason I look into the repair to get my car back on the road and can't understand how a $300 part direct from Subaru that has 4 bolts fastened onto the bottom of the car will cost $1200. I take the car home and purchased the part from Subaru and spent 20 minutes fixing issue completely. They sold me on a warranty and then abused the warranty company by over estimating repair costs which in turn left me with denied claims. I got 0 value out of the $3500 warranty they sold me on and I have now spent several months trying to get an unknown amount back as a refund. Finally just over a month ago I finally found out what that amount will be a measly $1,700 in which I'm still waiting for. If I had read a review like this to go off of I would have never stepped a foot in their door. Take it as you will... my take is they have zero integrity

After a few days later, when I arrived to the shop for my appointment, we talked about my car and I even informed Philo that I had went to another shop (gates... lol) and they quoted me almost $3k to fix my passenger car door. Which, by the way, my passenger side door would not open at all nor would the window go all the way down without making noise. Philo stepped outside and took a look at my car, analyzed it carefully and said, "Yup. I can fix it! And for a better price!" Sure liked the sound of that!! We went back inside and he searched up car parts for my car and gave me an estimated price. However, he said he would do some more searching and send me an accurate estimate through email. Philo took my information and I went on my way. Later that night, he called me and gave me the actual estimated amount and I said, "Let's do it!" (By the way, ALOT cheaper than Gates!!) We set up an appointment, where I'd practically be carless and he sent me the quote through email. I went to Philo's shop the following day and gave him half the deposit! A week later, I took my car to the shop. 3 and a half days later, my car was ready for pick up. (P.s. I was so excited!) When I arrived, he explained to me what they did to my car and how they even cleaned it as well! (I appreciated that so much!) He handed me my keys, I gave him the other half of the money and went on about my business. I opened my passenger car door and had such a relief that I could finally open the door again. It almost looks brand new! They did an absolute great job!! I absolutely loved how Philo was very knowledgeable, caring, and always replied to me in a timely manner when I had questions! I 100% recommend Philo's Body Shop! They were overall amazing! Unfortunately, I only have photos after they fixed it. But trust me when I say this... that passenger side door would not open! I was ready to bail out but the reviews were very good and they're only 5 minutes away so I gave them a shot. When I picked up the car, I mentioned that the spark plugs would need to be replaced in the near future. Drew made a note and said he'd call or email with a quote for that. It's been 10 days so I doubt that quote is ever coming either. As far as I can tell the work was fine. Getting the quote was the difficult part. If a company isn't setup to respond to internet requests, that's fine...but they have to remove that option from their site if they're just ignoring them. I wasn't going to publish this review but the owner requested it. So here it is. Maybe I caught them during a really bad month? UPDATE - Used them a 2nd time (was sure to call this time vs email) to replace the hard to access spark plugs and they called to tell me that the plugs had already been replaced by the previous owner and that there was no need and would be no charge. Many places would have just replaced them needlessly or at least charged a fee to check them. Was very impressed!
