When it's time for work to be done, they explain in great detail what has to be done, why it has to be done and when it comes to tires, provide a number of options. If you are the type that buys on price alone, Carson City probably isn't for you. But if you do the math, you'll end up spending much more at other tire dealers over the course of time. Cheapo tires from other places that sell on price alone will need to be replaced much quicker than the quality product that Carson City will sell and install. And you'll never be left to hang out to dry when you do business with Steve. If you run into a problem with the work they've done or a tire they've sold you, they'll get you into their shop and will resolve the issue for you without fail. No waiting days to get in. They'll get you squared away and on the road again in no time. I love the free flat repair & free tire rotation every 5,000 miles. I've used Carson City tires for years, and even though we moved from Milford to Kittery, we continue to go to them for the best in tire advice, selection, and the most friendly service! Steve really doesn't try to over-sell us, and we find his prices are better than any others. In the past 5 yrs., they have sold us 4-5 full sets of tires and each time the experience is top notch. They call every one of their customers by their first names, and if you have to rotate tires, fix a nail hole, or whatever, they always do the servicing with a smile and make you feel like you really matter to them. I think I was in and out in under 15 minutes when I had my winter tires mounted. A quick tip- If you compare the cost of tires purchased online, and then the cost to get them mounted at Carson City, the prices when purchased at Carson City are very competitive (within a few dollars). Carson City Tire is the true professional tire shop in the area! They are not out to rip you off...check prices against the mail order places, and you'll find that when you factor shipping, mounting and balancing costs, they are the same price or less than mail order and almost certainly less than the chain stores.
