B&B Winery is a hidden gem outside of Ubly and Bad Axe. The home start-up has grown 3x its size in five years and hosts various vendor events, painting classes, belly dancing, and more. I started working in the area and was really missing my morning coffee runs. One of my coworkers suggested I give them a try, and I absolutely love them! What a great local company, and they offer a great array of baked goods and food. I tried the cinnamon roll iced latte and a iced godfather. I also had a bagel breakfast sandwich and it was SO good. I love seeing local companies thrive and I plan to keep coming here as long as I'm working in the area!

Our hostess did give immediate notice that there was a 30 min wait for orders from the kitchen, but that was fine with us since we weren't in any rush. The menu was simple with classic diner breakfast options, and the restaurant itself had a great charm. I was actually surprised at how comfortable their "wicker" chairs were, and everything was bright and clean. The staff was great too! Even with there being a rush, they handled everything with grace, humor and kindness. For sure a team working together to keep things running smoothly. When placing my order I quickly brought up my food allergies/intolerances, as I have quite a few. I was aware that they could not 100% guarantee no cross contamination, as one severe sensitivity of mine is wheat, but after choosing my safest option (The Huron Street Special), they promised to be as safe a possible. I'm happy to say that I left without having any food reactions, neither then, nor delayed onset. So big thank you to them for that! The food was served in large portions and was absolutely delicious. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, and I rather enjoyed the home fries. I would say they are fair and moderately priced. I will definitely be returning in our next visit to town.
