What a hidden gem in Croswell! My husband and I came out this way and saw the Wagon Wheel on our way through downtown. Decided to stop for breakfast and so glad we did! The restaurant is small maybe 8 tables and countertop seating. I was told the place gets really busy and sometimes there's a wait but it's WELL worth it. I ordered one of the specials - country fried steak with eggs and home fried potatoes with a side of toast. I go the cinnamon raisin bread and all the bread is home made. Let me tell you about the bread. It was SO good! Hubby got a half order of homemade biscuits and gravy and an omelette. Everything was so good, homemade and really delicious. Everyone was so friendly, and local resident Jack was there to greet us as we walked in. He's a regular and a super friendly guy! If you're passing through Croswell, stop by! Wow was surprised how good the food quality was for a small diner that seats 20 people. Home fries that they slice to order and cook fresh. They make their own bread and biscuits- who does that anymore! They offer burrito omelette, yep you heard that right- gotta try it. We stopped by for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised. There's picnic tables in the back and we sat out there. The staff was attentive and service was excellent. Burgers, chicken fingers and quesadillas were ordered and all were good. The burgers were excellent. Everything came outside fresh and well made. We were given some coupons for an ice cream down the road so we went there too. This is worth the drive. We enjoyed our meal here. read more

I've been here 3 times and must say excluding this past stop they earned a 4 1/2 star rating. I live 20 something miles away and have stopped only in midroute. The first time I was there we tried their coneys. And they were excellent. Much better than National Coney Island . On par with Lafayette who if you are familiar is high praise.The second time we bought a " family pack" of sliders and fries. Oh boy we're they good! I think I prefer their ones made with buns over their bread as we got half and half. Very tasty. The only criticism is they could use more onions and I'm not a fan of having to construct them ourselves. And this third time being by myself I just wanted 3 for the road so I asked for them to put mustard and ketchup on them so I can eat them while driving. Well they did but I felt like I was being a bother? Anyways the burgers were very tasty buttttt were missing onions and pickle. Did I get punished for asking my burgers being made for me? Was that too much to remember to do it all? I was the only customer the whole time so they weren't busy. I don't know. I'm getting bummed. Thought I found a better place for sliders than that wimp place the next town over. Don't get me wrong it will take a few more bad visits to stop going as the crew is it super nice and food has potential to be the best. Hope to bring my score up next time and hope owners will follow up with cook(s) I have a hard time deviating from favorites at restaurants but hope others will give them a try despite this little problem. A coworker and I gave this place a chance after seeing reviews elsewhere. This restaurant just opened a few months ago. I was impressed at the quality of the food. I ordered a turkey grinder and fries. The Turkey was fresh, not processed. The lettuce was green, crisp and the fries are hand cut. They don't cheap out on ingredients and it shows. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will be definitely coming back. read more

The Panino was awesome...loved the fresh French fries. Chili was excellent also. Would totally recommend.

Great little family place for breakfast and lunch. Good choice of breakfast foods, sandwiches, salads and a few Mexican items. Tasty chili and interesting soup of the day (stuffed pepper soup when we were here, tomato base with peppers, ground beef and rice). All produce was fresh, fries were fresh cut, everything very flavorful. And the prices are great too! Under $40 for 5 people at lunch. read more
